Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001]The present invention relates to a container having a guide part movable together with a brush rod, more specifically to a container that is capable of allowing a guide part to be fastened to a brush rod and move together with the brush rod by a given distance in a container part, thereby causing a content to be mixed and discharged with ease.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002]Generally, cosmetic products such as lip gloss, lip tint, and the like are configured to have a cap to which a brush rod is connected so that when the cosmetic products are used, a content is applied to the end portion of the brush rod. In detail, the cap is separated from a container body, while being held by a user, and next, the cosmetic content is applied to a tip member of the brush rod connected to the cap and then spreads onto the user's lips.
[0003]However, the cosmetic content generally has various components, and as time passes, the layer segregation of the content may occur. Otherwise, components or densities of upper and lower layers may be different from each other. In this case, the container with the brush rod is configured to allow the content to be applied to the tip member attached to the end portion of the brush rod, and therefore, there is a possibility that the components of the content applied to the tip member are not uniformly mixed.
[0004]To prevent such problems from happening, the container shakes by the user before use to uniformly mix the components of the content, and otherwise, the brush rod is repeatedly inserted into and separated from the container body by the user inconveniently.

[0033]
[0034]Now, an explanation of the container 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to
[0035]As shown in
[0036]The container 1 includes the container part 100 configured to store the content therein and the brush rod assembly SA configured to be coupled to the container part 100.
[0037]As shown in
[0038]
[0039]The container 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to
[0040]As shown in
[0041]The brush rod assembly SA consists of the cap 400, the brush rod 500 and/or the tip member 600.
[0042]As shown in
[0043]The cap 400 is provided to cover top of the brush rod 500. That is, the cap 400 is coupled to the brush rod 500 on top of the brush rod 500. A screw thread is formed inside the cap 400, and the screw thread is fastened to a screw thread formed on the container part 100. As a result, the brush rod assembly SA rotates and is thus coupled to the container part 100.
[0044]The tip member 600 is coupled to the lower portion of the brush rod 500. The brush rod 500 has a hollow portion at the inside thereof in such a way as to insert an upper portion of the tip member 600 thereinto. The tip member 600 is a member having the ability to absorb any liquid, such as a brush, a sponge, and the like or has a structure allowing a liquid to stay on the surface thereof, while the liquid is not being absorbed. Further, the tip member 600 has an end portion narrow in sectional area thereof, which allows the content to be applied to the desired place, with ease. According to embodiments of the present invention, the tip member 600 is subjected to flocking or made of a different material from the brush rod 500. The tip member 600 is provided separately from the brush rod 500 and thus coupled to the brush rod 500, and otherwise, the tip member 600 is molded integrally with the brush rod 500.
[0045]The container part 100 has an internal space for receiving the content therein and is open on one side thereof. The container part 100 has the shape of a general cylinder with an internal space.
[0046]In this case, the content received in the container part 100 is not directly received in the container part 100, but absorbed into the compression member 700 and thus received therein. The content includes lipophilic and hydrophilic materials. The lipophilic and hydrophilic materials are not mixed well, and if they are directly received in the container part 100, therefore, layer segregation therebetween may occur. To prevent the layer segregation of the content from happening, therefore, the compression member 700 is first impregnated with the content. If it is desired to use the content, the compression member 700 into which the content is absorbed is pressurized to allow the content to be discharged therefrom, and the discharged content is applied to the tip member 600. In this case, the compression member 700 is made of a porous material such as a sponge. Accordingly, the compression member 700 has excellent ability to absorb the content.
[0047]In this case, if the compression member 700 is pressurized, it becomes compressed, and if the pressurization force against the compression member 700 is removed, the compression member 700 returns to its original shape. The compression member 700 has the shape corresponding to the container part 100 and is received in the container part 100. For example, as shown in
[0048]As shown in
[0049]The guide part 300 includes the plurality of elastic portions 320, incised slits 311H formed between the neighboring elastic portions 320, and/or a guide peripheral portion 330 surrounding the plurality of elastic portions 320.
[0050]The plurality of elastic portions 320 have outer surfaces slant downward as they become close to the brush rod through hole 310H. The plurality of elastic portions 320 are defined by the incised slits 311H, and the radial outer peripheries of the plurality of elastic portions 320 are connected to one another by means of the guide peripheral portion 330. The plurality of elastic portions 320 have flanges 321 slant from the lower end portions thereof in a distant direction from the brush rod through hole 310H. Two or more elastic portions 320 are provided. For example, as shown in
[0051]The guide peripheral portion 330 has the shape corresponding to the inner peripheral wall of the cylinder part 100. The plurality of elastic portions 320 are located inside the guide peripheral portion 330. The plurality of elastic portions 320 are coupled to top of the guide peripheral portion 330. The guide peripheral portion 330 extends downward by a given length to cover the plurality of elastic portions 320.
[0052]The wiper 200 is located on top of the guide part 300 and received inside the container part 100. The wiper 200 has a hole formed at the center thereof in such a way as to wipe the tip member 600, if the brush rod assembly SA is separated from the container part 100, thereby preventing the content from being applied more than necessary to the tip member 600.
[0053]Under the above configuration, a method for using the container 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be explained in detail below.
[0054]
[0055]Now, operations of the container 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to
[0056]As shown in
[0057]In this case, the brush rod assembly SA is movable together with the guide part 300 in a first moving distance and movable independently of the guide part 300 in a second moving distance. Further, as shown in
[0058]While the brush rod assembly SA is moving the first moving distance, the guide part 300 moves downward together with the brush rod assembly SA. In this case, the compression member 700 is located between the guide part 300 and the container part 100 and thus compressed according to the downward movement of the guide part 300. The compression member 700 is pressurized against the guide part 300 and thus discharges the content therefrom. The discharged content is applied to the tip member 600 and thus usable. In detail, as the compression member 700 is compressed, the content is discharged to the through hole formed at the center of the compression member 700. As the tip member 600 is inserted into the through hole of the compression member 700 and moves along the through hole, the discharged content is more easily applied to the tip member 600. If necessary, however, the compression member 700 may have a groove formed at the center thereof, not the through hole.
[0059]In this case, the brush rod assembly SA has the pressurization protrusion 510 protruding outward from the brush rod 500 in the radial direction of the brush rod 500. The pressurization protrusion 510 is adapted to pressurize the guide part 300, while the brush rod assembly SA is moving by the first moving distance. That is, while the brush rod assembly SA is moving downward in the first moving distance, the pressurization protrusion 510 pressurizes the elastic portions 320 downward on tops of the elastic portions 320 and thus moves the guide part 300 downward. That is, the brush rod assembly SA and the guide part 300 are fastened to each other by means of the pressurization protrusion 510 and thus movable together.
[0060]In this case, as shown in the enlarged portion of
[0061]After the guide part 300 has moved the given moving distance, it is not movable anymore inside the container part 100. In detail, the inner peripheral wall 110A of the container part 100 tilts in such a way as to decrease in sectional area toward the lower portion thereof. While the brush rod assembly SA is moving to the second moving distance from the first moving distance, the guide part 300 is supported against the inner peripheral wall 110A of the container part 100 and not movable anymore inside the container part 100. That is, as shown in the enlarged portion of
[0062]If a force is applied to move the brush rod assembly SA downward in the situation where the downward movement of the guide part 300 stops, the elastic portions 320, which surround the brush rod through hole 310H in such a way as to vary the diameter of the brush rod through hole 310H, are deformed in shape. That is, as shown in the enlarged guide part 300 of
[0063]After the pressurization protrusion 510 has passed through the brush rod through hole 310H, the distance in which the brush rod assembly SA moves downward is the second moving distance. In this case, as shown in
[0064]The compression member 700 returns to its original shape as the pressurized state against the guide part 300 is released or disappears. Otherwise, if the restoring force of the compression member 700 is greater than the pressurization force of the pressurization protrusion 510, the compression member 700 returns to its original shape.
[0065]In this case, while the compression member 700 is returning to its original shape, the guide part 300 moves by the moving distance, while the brush rod assembly SA is moving the first moving distance, in a direction distant from the compression member 700.
[0066]That is, while the brush rod assembly SA is moving the first moving distance, the guide part 300 moves toward the compression member 700, and while the brush rod assembly SA is moving the second moving distance, the guide part 300 moves in the direction distant from the compression member 700.
[0067]The tip member 600 keeps moving downward, irrespective of the returning of the compression member 700, and until the content is sufficiently applied to the tip member 600, the tip member 600 reciprocates between the guide part 300 and the bottom of the container part 100.
[0068]Even though not shown, the tip member 600 is removed from the container part 100 in a reverse order as mentioned above. In this case, the pressurization protrusion 510 of the brush rod 500 passes through the brush rod through hole 310H of the guide part 300 and moves upward. While the pressurization protrusion 510 is moving upward, it pressurizes the slant outer surfaces of the flanges 321 of the elastic portions 320 and thus deforms the elastic portions 320 in a direction spaced apart from the brush rod through hole 310H. As the elastic portions 320 are deformed, the brush rod through hole 310H expands, and the pressurization protrusion 510 passes through the brush rod through hole 310H. If the brush rod 500 keeps moving upward, the tip member 600 is wiped by the wiper 200, so that the content applied to the tip member 600 is adjusted to a given appropriate amount. After that, the tip member 600 is completely removed from the container part 100 and thus applies the content to a desired place.
[0069]Hereinafter, a container according to another embodiment of the present invention will be explained. The repeated explanations with the above-mentioned embodiment of the present invention will be avoided for the brevity of the description. That is, it is obvious that the parts not explained according to another embodiment of the present invention will be understood through the parts already explained in the above-mentioned embodiment of the present invention.
[0070]
[0071]An explanation of the container 1 according to another embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to
[0072]The container 1 in another embodiment of the present invention is different from the container 1 in the above-mentioned embodiment of the present invention in that a pressurization protrusion 510-1 is formed on a tip member 600-1, not on a brush rod 500-1.
[0073]That is, the pressurization protrusion 510-1 protrudes from the tip member 600-1. The pressurization protrusion 510-1 is formed on the end portion of the tip member 600-1 close to the brush rod 500-1.
[0074]As mentioned above, the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been disclosed in the specification and drawings. Therefore, persons skilled in the relevant art can appreciate that many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teachings. It is therefore intended that the scope of the invention be limited not by this detailed description, but rather by the claims appended hereto.
