Description

[0001]The present application in a continuation in part of U.S. patent application Ser. No. 19/012,027, filed on Jan. 7, 2025, titled “Cosmetic Container Having a Scraping Member with a Fluffy Head”, listing Hui-Hui Zhang as inventor.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002]The invention relates to cosmetic containers and more particularly to a cosmetic container including a scraping member have a fluffy head.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003]Love of beauty is a woman's nature. When applying makeup, most women choose to use a makeup tool (e.g., cotton pad, cotton swab, or scraper) instead of simply applying it with the hand. Taking scraper as an example, its appearance and usage are similar to a butter spatula. A user may use the side of the scraper to evenly apply foundation to the face. This has advantages of avoiding directly touching the face with fingers, reducing the spread of bacteria, and being convenient to use by just washing the scraper off the foundation.

[0004]However, conventional scrapers are made entirely of metal and both sides of the scraper are flat, thereby making it difficult to reach curved parts of the face or finer parts (e.g., parts around the eyes or the nose). This results in the need for multiple touch-ups to complete the application of the cosmetics to each part. It is inconvenient in makeup application.

[0005]Thus, the need for improvement still exists.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006]It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a cosmetic container comprising a scraping member having an axial line along its lengthwise direction, the scraping member comprising a joining section and an applying section, the joining section and the applying section being formed integrally, the joining section including a joining element, a connecting element, and an intermediate element, the connecting element being between the joining element and the intermediate element, the applying section being flat and formed with the intermediate element, thickness of the connecting element being greater than that of the applying section, thickness of the intermediate element being gradually decreased from the connecting element toward the applying section, the applying section including a first half at one side of the axial line and a second half at the other side of the axial line, and a plurality of fluffy bristles being disposed on at least one of the first half and the second half; a cap includes an internally threaded section on an inner surface and a positioning seat on a bottom wherein the joining element of the scraping member is secured to the positioning seat; and a containing member including an axially oriented opening and an externally threaded section formed around the axially oriented opening, the externally threaded section being configured to threadedly secure to the internally threaded section of the cap so as to dispose the cap on the containing member.

[0007]Preferably, the first half has a straight surface on a side, the second half has a concave surface on a side, width of the connecting element is equal to that of the intermediate element, and each of the width of the connecting element and the width of the intermediate element are greater than width of the applying section.

[0008]Preferably, each of the first half and the second half have a straight surface on the side, width of the connecting element is equal to that of the intermediate element, and the width of the connecting element is equal to that of the applying section.

[0009]The invention has the following advantages and benefits in comparison with the conventional art: with the flat applying section having the straight surface and the concave surface, the scraping member conforms correctly to the contour of the face of the user and fully engages with the face in use. Moreover, the scraping member is formed integrally and has a smooth surface without gaps and cracks, and the first half has the fluffy bristles. With the provision of the fluffy bristles, the liquid foundation can be uniformly applied to the curved portions or more detailed portions of the face. As a result, an easy, complete makeup is achieved.

[0010]Portability and convenient use. The fluffy scraping member, the cap, and the containing member are assembled as a unit which is easy to carry. After use, the scraping member can be disposed in the containing member and the cap can be put on the containing member for closing same. Thus, its use is very convenient.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0023]Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, a cosmetic container in accordance with a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the following components as discussed in detail below.

[0024]A scraping member 10 is made of plastic or metal. The scraping member 10 has an axial line L along its lengthwise direction. The scraping member 10 comprises a joining section 11 and an applying section 12. The joining section 11 and the applying section 12 are formed integrally. The joining section 11 includes a joining element 111, a connecting element 112, and an intermediate element 113. The connecting element 112 is between the joining element 111 and the intermediate element 113. The applying section 12 is flat and formed with the intermediate element 113. Thickness of the connecting element 112 is greater than that of the applying section 12. Thickness of the intermediate element 113 is gradually decreased from the connecting element 112 toward the applying section 12. The applying section 12 includes a first half 121 at one side of the axial line L and a second half 122 at the other side of the axial line L. A plurality of fluffy bristles 13 are disposed on at least one of the first half 121 and the second half 122 (see FIG. 4). Alternatively, the fluffy bristles 13 are disposed on the first half 121 and the second half 122 (see FIG. 5). An electrostatic fluffy bristles planting device (not shown) is used for implanting the fluffy bristles 13 on each of the first half 121 and the second half 122. Firstly, adhesive is applied to each of the first half 121 and the second half 122 respectively. Secondly, the electrostatic fluffy bristles planting device activates to implant the fluffy bristles 13 into each of the first half 121 and the second half 122. As a result, the fluffy bristles 13 are attached onto a surface of each of the first half 121 and the second half 122 (see FIG. 5).

[0025]The first half 121 has a straight surface 1211 on a side and the second half 122 has a concave surface 1221 on a side. Both the straight surface 1211 and the concave surface 1221 are shaped to conform correctly to the contour of the face of a user or parts of the body to be applied with cosmetics. Thus, the applying section 12 can fully engage with the parts of the body in use. In the embodiment, width of the connecting element 112 is equal to that of the intermediate element 113. Also, each of the width of the connecting element 112 and the width of the intermediate element 113 are greater than width of the applying section 12.

[0026]Shape of the connecting element 112 is flat.

[0027]A cap 20 comprises an internally threaded section 21 on an inner surface and a positioning seat 22 on a bottom. The joining element 111 of the scraping member 10 is secured to the positioning seat 22 as illustrated in the embodiment of the invention.
