SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007]However, there has been a need for the conventional wall-hung flush toilets described in Patent Literatures 1 to 3 above to ensure toilet flushing performance while successfully incorporating the pump device and other major devices contributing to toilet flushing inside the dead space and the like of the toilet main body in order to realize a so-called "low-silhouette design" having a reduced vertical height of the toilet main body or other designs that ensure an aesthetic appearance of the exterior of the flush toilet and the like.
[0008]Meanwhile, there is a problem with the conventional wall-hung flush toilets described in Patent Literatures 1 to 3 above in that when a low-silhouette design is used, the internal space and the like of the toilet main body become narrow commensurately, resulting in interference of the pump device supplying the flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body, the connection pipe connecting the pump device and the water storage tank, etc., with parts of the toilet main body and parts of the peripheral devices, making storage inside the toilet main body impossible.
[0009]The conventional wall-hung flush toilets described above also have a problem in that if distortion or the like occurs at the wall side and/or water storage tank side when fixing to the wall, the water storage tank may become tilted, which may obstruct the stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body.
[0010]Therefore, the present invention is directed to solve the conventional problems described above and problems of conventional art, and is directed to a wall-hung flush toilet that can ensure a stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body via the connection pipe and the pump device while effectively ensuring space in the toilet main body for storing the pump device and the connection pipe.
[0011]To solve the problems described above, an aspect of the present invention is a wall-hung flush toilet fixed to a wall, in which the wall-hung flush toilet includes: a toilet main body including a bowl configured to receive human waste, and a drain trap that has an inlet connected to a lower part of the bowl and is configured to discharge human waste; a tank device including a water storage tank configured to store flush water to be supplied to the toilet main body; a pump device configured to supply, to the toilet main body, the flush water stored in the water storage tank; and a connection pipe connecting the water storage tank and the pump device, in which the toilet main body further includes a storage part located below the bowl; the storage part is configured to store the water storage tank; the drain trap includes a drain trap pipe line including a lowermost end part located behind and below the inlet, a descending pipe line descending from the inlet to the lowermost end part, a top part located behind and above the lowermost end part at a downstream side of the descending pipe line, and an ascending pipe line ascending from the lowermost end part to the top part at the downstream side of the descending pipe line; when viewed in bottom-view, the water storage tank is arranged in the storage part to straddle the lowermost end part of the drain trap pipe line in a lateral direction; and when viewed in bottom-view, at least a part of the connection pipe and at least a part of the pump device are located inside a region of the drain trap.
[0012]According to the aspect of the present invention having such a configuration, in the toilet main body, the storage part that stores the water storage tank of the tank device is located below the bowl; the water storage tank is arranged in the storage part so that the water storage tank straddles the lowermost end part of the drain trap pipe line in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view; and at least a part of the connection pipe and at least a part of the pump device are located inside a region of the drain trap when viewed in bottom-view; therefore, the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap can be effectively used, and the parts of the connection pipe and the pump device can be efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0013]Even if there is a risk of the stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body being obstructed by the water storage tank tilting due to distortion or the like at the wall side and/or water storage tank side when fixing the wall-hung flush toilet to the wall, such a risk can be reduced by appropriately arranging parts of the connection pipe and the pump device relative to the toilet main body.
[0014]Accordingly, the stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body via the connection pipe and the pump device can be ensured while effectively ensuring a space in the toilet main body for storing the pump device and the connection pipe.
[0015]According to the aspect of the present invention, favorably, the connection pipe extends behind the lowermost end part of the drain trap pipe line.
[0016]According to the aspect of the present invention having such a configuration, the connection pipe extends behind the lowermost end part of the drain trap pipe line, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe and the pump device can be more efficiently arranged in the toilet main body without unutilized space.
[0017]According to the aspect of the present invention, favorably, the connection pipe includes a tank-side connection part connected to the water storage tank, and a pump-side connection part connected to the pump device; and when viewed in bottom-view, the pump-side connection part is positioned in front of the top part of the drain trap pipe line.
[0018]According to the aspect of the present invention having such a configuration, the connection pipe includes the tank-side connection part connected to the water storage tank, and the pump-side connection part connected to the pump device; and when viewed in bottom-view, the pump-side connection part is positioned in front of the top part of the drain trap pipe line; therefore, the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe and the pump device can be more efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0019]Also, interference of the pump device with drain pipe lines located behind the top part of the drain trap pipe line, a drain socket connected to the downstream side of the drain pipe line, etc., can be suppressed.
[0020]According to the aspect of the present invention, favorably, the pump device and the connection pipe are located inside the region of the drain trap in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view.
[0021]According to the aspect of the present invention having such a configuration, the pump device and the connection pipe are located inside the region in the drain trap in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe and the pump device can be efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0022]Also, the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the connection pipe and the pump device relative to the toilet main body can be increased.
[0023]According to the aspect of the present invention, favorably, the pump device and the connection pipe are located higher than a lowermost end of the toilet main body.
[0024]According to the aspect of the present invention having such a configuration, the pump device and the connection pipe are located higher than the lowermost end of the toilet main body, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe and the pump device can be more efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0025]Also, the pump device and the connection pipe each can be concealed in the interior (the storage part) of the toilet main body, and so the aesthetic appearance of the exterior of the flush toilet can be improved.
[0026]According to wall-hung flush toilets of aspects of the present invention, a stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank to the toilet main body via the connection pipe and the pump device can be ensured while effectively ensuring a space in the toilet main body for storing the pump device and the connection pipe.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0037]A wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0038]First, the basic structure of the wall-hung flush toilet according to the present embodiment will be described using
[0039]
[0040]In the present specification, as viewed by a user in front of the wall-hung flush toilet, the proximate side and the depthward side in the longitudinal direction of the flush toilet are defined respectively as "front side/in front of/frontward" and "back side/in back of/behind/backward"; and the right side and the left side in the lateral direction of the flush toilet are defined respectively as "right side/the right/rightward" and "left side/the left/leftward". "Longitudinal" means "frontward and/or backward", and "lateral" means "leftward and/or rightward". "Above", "below", "left", "right", "front", "back", and "behind" each indicate a relative position or action along one respective axis, without implying limitations along other axes. That is, "above" is not implicitly restricted to "directly above", "behind" is not implicitly restricted to "directly behind", etc.
[0041]As shown in
[0042]The wall-hung flush toilet 1 includes the ceramic toilet main body 2, a tank device 6 that includes a water storage tank 4 that stores flush water supplied from a service water line or other water supply source (not illustrated), a pump device 8 that supplies, to the toilet main body 2, flush water stored in the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6, and a sanitary washing device 10 placed on the upper surface of the toilet main body 2.
[0043]The wall-hung flush toilet 1 shown in
[0044]A water supply pipe 14 supplies flush water from the service water line or other water supply source (not illustrated) to the wall-hung flush toilet 1; a stop cock 12 stops the water supply of the water supply pipe 14; and the water supply pipe 14 and the stop cock 12 are located inside the toilet main body 2 at the lower back vicinity.
[0045]As shown in
[0046]A storage space S1, which is a storage part, is formed between the skirt 20 and the bowl 16 and between the skirt 20 and the drain trap 18, and stores the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6.
[0047]As shown in
[0048]The human waste receiving surface 22 is configured so that standing water accumulates in the interior of the human waste receiving surface 22.
[0049]The rim 24 includes a rim discharge port 26 that discharges flush water backward, and a rim water conduit 28 that guides the flush water to the rim discharge port 26.
[0050]The rim discharge port 26 is located at the right side of the bowl 16 at the center vicinity in the longitudinal direction.
[0051]Flush water that is discharged from the rim discharge port 26 flushes the bowl 16 by flowing down the human waste receiving surface 22 while swirling along the inner circumferential surface of the rim 24.
[0052]As shown in
[0053]The jet discharge port 30 is arranged to face the front of the inlet 18b of the drain trap pipe line 18a.
[0054]Flush water that is discharged from the jet discharge port 30 generates a siphon action by flowing into the drain trap pipe line 18a.
[0055]Although the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment is a so-called "siphon-jet flush toilet" that discharges human waste by generating a siphon action with a jet discharge, the flush toilet is not limited to such a configuration; and other flush toilet configurations are applicable.
[0056]Examples of other flush toilet configurations include a siphon flush toilet that discharges human waste by generating a siphon action with only rim discharge (100% rim discharge), and a so-called "washdown flush toilet" that pushes the human waste with a flow action generated by the head of the water.
[0057]As shown in
[0058]The top part 18e of the drain trap pipe line 18a is located at the highest position of the ascending pipe line 18f and regulates the level of the standing water.
[0059]The back pipe line 18g of the drain trap pipe line 18a is connected to a drain pipe D inside the wall surface W via a drain socket 34.
[0060]The sanitary washing device 10 includes a main part (not illustrated), a washing nozzle (not illustrated) that is advanceable and retractable relative to the main part and washes a private part of a user, a toilet seat (not illustrated) rotatably mounted to the main part, and a toilet seat cover rotatably mounted to the main part to cover the toilet seat.
[0061]The water supply pipe 14 that is connected to the stop cock 12 includes a branch pipe (not illustrated) that is connected to the main part of the sanitary washing device 10 and supplies wash water to be squirted from the washing nozzle.
[0062]
[0063]As shown in
[0064]The tank device 6 includes the water storage tank 4, a tank water supply pipe 42 of which the upstream side is connected to the water supply valve device 36, a tank water supply unit 44 that feeds the flush water supplied from the tank water supply pipe 42 into the water storage tank 4, and a float switch 46 that detects the level of the flush water stored inside the water storage tank 4.
[0065]The water storage tank 4 has substantially an L-shape when viewed in bottom-view as shown in
[0066]More specifically, when viewed in bottom-view, as shown in
[0067]The water storage tank 4 is a resin tank that stores flush water to be used for the rim discharge and the jet discharge, and can store about 4 liters of flush water.
[0068]The tank water supply unit 44 is located at the upper part of the water storage tank 4.
[0069]The tank water supply unit 44 being located at the upper part of the water storage tank 4 makes it possible for the upstream side of the tank water supply unit 44 to be connected to the tank water supply pipe 42, and for the downstream side of the tank water supply unit 44 to be connected to the water storage tank 4.
[0070]Inside the tank water supply unit 44 is a flow channel (not illustrated) that guides the flush water supplied from the tank water supply pipe 42 toward the water storage tank 4.
[0071]The float switch 46 is located at the upper part of the water storage tank 4, and is electrically connected to the water supply valve device 36.
[0072]When the water level inside the water storage tank 4 falls below the water-stop level (the full water level), the float switch 46 is switched to the off-state, and the water supply valve device 36 is opened.
[0073]On the other hand, when the water level inside the water storage tank 4 rises to the water-stop level, the float switch 46 is switched to the on-state, and the water supply valve device 36 is closed.
[0074]An overflow unit 48 is mounted to the water storage tank 4; and the overflow unit 48 discharges flush water outside the water storage tank 4 when, for example, the float switch 46 fails and the water supply to the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6 continues.
[0075]The overflow unit 48 is connected to the drain socket 34 and discharges the flush water overflowing from the water storage tank 4 into the drain socket 34 via the overflow unit 48.
[0076]The water supply valve device 36 includes a fixed flow valve (not illustrated) that keeps the flow rate of the flush water constant, an on-off valve (not illustrated) that is located downstream of the fixed flow valve and switches between the supply and stop of the flush water, and an electromagnetic valve (not illustrated) that drives the on-off valve.
[0077]The upstream side of the water supply valve device 36 is connected to the service water line or other water supply source (not illustrated) via the stop cock 12 and the water supply pipe 14.
[0078]On the other hand, the downstream side of the water supply valve device 36 is connected to the sanitary washing device 10 via a sanitary washing device water supply pipe 50, and is connected to the tank device 6 via the tank water supply pipe 42.
[0079]When an electromagnetic valve (not illustrated) in the water supply valve device 36 is opened, an on-off valve (not illustrated) is opened, and the flush water supplied from the water supply source (not illustrated) to the water supply valve device 36 via the water supply pipe 14 is supplied to the tank device 6 via the tank water supply pipe 42.
[0080]The pump device 8 is a so-called booster pump that suctions flush water stored in the tank device 6 and feeds the flush water to the toilet main body 2.
[0081]The upstream side of the pump device 8 is connected to the tank device 6 via an upstream connection pipe 52.
[0082]On the other hand, the downstream side of the pump device 8 is connected to the switch valve device 38 via a downstream connection pipe 54.
[0083]When the pump device 8 is operated, the flush water that is stored in the tank device 6 is suctioned by the pump device 8 via the upstream connection pipe 52. The flush water that is suctioned by the pump device 8 is then fed from the downstream connection pipe 54 to the rim water conduit 28 and the jet water conduit 32 via the switch valve device 38 and discharged from the rim discharge port 26 and the jet discharge port 30 to flush the toilet.
[0084]Although a configuration of the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment is described in which the flush water stored in the tank device 6 is supplied to the rim discharge port 26 and the jet discharge port 30, the wall-hung flush toilet 1 is not limited to such a configuration; and other applicable configurations include, for example, a configuration (a so-called 100% rim discharge configuration) in which all of the flush water stored in the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6 is discharged only from the rim discharge port 26.
[0085]The switch valve device 38 includes a switch valve body (not illustrated) that switches the supply path of the flush water supplied from the pump device 8 to supply the flush water to the rim water conduit 28 and the rim discharge port 26 and to the jet water conduit 32 and the jet discharge port 30.
[0086]The upstream side of the switch valve device 38 is connected to the pump device 8 via the downstream connection pipe 54; and the downstream side of the switch valve device 38 is connected to the rim water conduit 28 via a rim water supply pipe 56 and connected to the jet water conduit 32 via a jet water supply pipe 58.
[0087]When the switch valve body (not illustrated) is closed, the flush water is supplied from the pump device 8 to the rim discharge port 26; and when the switch valve body (not illustrated) is opened, the flush water from the pump device 8 is supplied to the rim discharge port 26 and the jet discharge port 30.
[0088]The control device 40 is electrically connected to a remote control (not illustrated), the tank device 6 (the float switch 46), the sanitary washing device 10, the water supply valve device 36, and the pump device 8, and can transmit and receive various signals.
[0089]When receiving a flush start signal for a full flush or a light flush from the remote control (not illustrated), the control device 40 drives and stops the pump device 8 based on a prestored flush sequence.
[0090]Specifically, when the user operates the remote control (not illustrated), a control of the control device 40 operates the pump device 8 and causes flush water stored in the tank device 6 to be discharged from the rim discharge port 26 and the jet discharge port 30.
[0091]A control of the control device 40 also opens the water supply valve device 36 to supply water to the water storage tank 4, and closes the water supply valve device 36 to end the water supply to the tank when the float switch 46 detects a filled state.
[0092]The water supply pipe 14, the tank water supply pipe 42, the sanitary washing device water supply pipe 50, the upstream connection pipe 52, the downstream connection pipe 54, the rim water supply pipe 56, and the jet water supply pipe 58 described above each are flexible and can absorb manufacturing errors of the ceramic toilet main body 2, etc.
[0093]As shown in
[0094]The upstream connection pipe 52 is located higher than a lowermost end 2a of the toilet main body 2; and a part of the upstream connection pipe 52 is located inside a region A1 of the drain trap 18 when viewed in bottom-view. The region A1 is a space below the drain trap 18 from the lowermost end part 18c to the top part 18e.
[0095]As shown in
[0096]As shown in
[0097]In other words, when viewed in bottom-view as shown in
[0098]Herein, the upstream connection pipe 52 extending in the lateral direction from the tank-side connection part 52a toward the pump-side connection part 52b when viewed in bottom-view includes not only a configuration in which the upstream connection pipe 52 extends in a left/right horizontal direction, but also a configuration in which the upstream connection pipe 52 extends obliquely to the lateral direction from the one end part 52a toward the other end part 52b of the upstream connection pipe 52 when viewed in bottom-view.
[0099]As shown in
[0100]As shown in
[0101]The water storage tank 4 includes a water supply port 4b to which the flush water supplied from the water supply source (not illustrated) is supplied; and the water supply port 4b is located in the back region R1 of the water storage tank 4.
[0102]The water storage tank 4 also includes an overflow pipe 4c that allows the flush water inside the water storage tank 4 to overflow outside the water storage tank 4.
[0103]The overflow pipe 4c extends in the vertical direction inside the back region R1 of the water storage tank 4; and an outer end part 4d positioned outside the water storage tank 4 at the upper part of the overflow pipe 4c is connected to the overflow unit 48.
[0104]As shown in
[0105]A water supply path through which the flush water flows in the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to
[0106]
[0107]As shown in
[0108]The water that is supplied to the water supply valve device 36 is supplied to the sanitary washing device 10 via the sanitary washing device water supply pipe 50 and supplied to the tank device 6 via the tank water supply pipe 42. The flush water that is stored in the tank device 6 is suctioned by the pump device 8 via the upstream connection pipe 52 and supplied to the switch valve device 38 via the downstream connection pipe 54.
[0109]The flush water that is supplied to the switch valve device 38 is discharged from the rim discharge port 26 via the rim water supply pipe 56 and the rim water conduit 28 and discharged from the jet discharge port 30 via the jet water supply pipe 58 and the jet water conduit 32.
[0110]The flush water that overflows from the tank device 6 is discharged into the drain socket 34 via the overflow unit 48.
[0111]Effects of the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment will now be described.
[0112]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the storage part (the storage space S1) that stores the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6 is located below the bowl 16 in the toilet main body 2; and the water storage tank 4 is arranged in the storage part (the storage space S1) to straddle the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view.
[0113]The connection pipe 52 that connects the water storage tank 4 and the pump device 8 is located higher than the lowermost end 2a of the toilet main body 2 and has a part located inside the region A1 of the drain trap 18 when viewed in bottom-view, and so the connection pipe 52 can be located in the dead space in the peripheral region of the drain trap 18.
[0114]Accordingly, the space S1 for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be increased.
[0115]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, at least a part of the pump device 8 is located inside the region A1 of the drain trap 18 of the toilet main body 2 when viewed in bottom-view, and so at least a part of the pump device 8 can be located in the dead space in the peripheral region of the drain trap 18.
[0116]Therefore, the space S1 for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be more effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be effectively increased.
[0117]By increasing the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2, it is possible to ensure the dimensions of a configuration in which the side circumferential surface of the skirt 20 of the toilet main body 2 and the like can be made narrower downward from above (to make a so-called "toe space"), etc., and the aesthetic appearance can be improved.
[0118]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the one end part 52a of the connection pipe 52 is connected to the inner surface 4a of the water storage tank 4, while the other end part 52b is connected to the pump device 8, and so the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 can be efficiently arranged in the dead space in the peripheral region of the drain trap 18.
[0119]Therefore, the space S1 for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be more effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be effectively increased.
[0120]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the water storage tank 4 includes the front region F1, which is located at the front side of the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a, and the back region R1, which is located at the back side of the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a and has a greater capacity than the front region F1. The one end part 52a of the connection pipe 52 is connected to the back region R1, and so the space S1 for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be more effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be effectively increased.
[0121]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the water supply port 4b of the water storage tank 4 is located in the back region R1 of the water storage tank 4, which allows the flush water that is supplied from the water supply port 4b of the water storage tank 4 and stored inside the back region R1 to be quickly supplied to the toilet main body 2 from the connection pipe 52 via the pump device 8 by the operation of the pump device 8.
[0122]Therefore, the flush water inside the water storage tank 4 can be efficiently supplied to the toilet main body 2 while suppressing the performance load of the pump device 8.
[0123]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the overflow pipe 4c that allows the flush water inside the water storage tank 4 to overflow outside the water storage tank 4 is located in the back region R1, which has a larger capacity than the front region F1 of the water storage tank 4, and so a wider area for connecting the one end part 52a of the connection pipe 52 to the back region R1 of the water storage tank 4 can be ensured.
[0124]Therefore, the connection pipe 52 is more easily connected at any location of the back region R1 of the water storage tank 4, and so the degree of freedom of the arrangement relative to the toilet main body 2 of the pump device 8 to which the connection pipe 52 is connected can be more effectively increased.
[0125]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the connection pipe 52, the water supply port 4b of the water storage tank 4, and the overflow pipe 4c are arranged in the order of the connection pipe 52, the water supply port 4b, and the overflow pipe 4c from the front side toward the back side of the water storage tank 4.
[0126]As a result, as shown in
[0127]Therefore, the pressure loss of the connection pipe 52 when operating the pump device 8 (e.g., during suction) can be suppressed.
[0128]Even when the water level inside the water storage tank 4 is reduced by the operation of the pump device 8, the distance L2 in the longitudinal direction from the connection pipe 52 to the overflow pipe 4c can be ensured, which reduces the risk of breaking the water seal inside the overflow pipe 4c.
[0129]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment as shown in
[0130]Therefore, the space S1 for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be even more effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be more effectively increased.
[0131]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment as shown in
[0132]Therefore, the dead space between the lowermost end part 18c and the top part 18e of the drain trap pipe line 18a can be more effectively used, and the connection pipe 52 can be arranged without interfering with the drain trap 18.
[0133]Therefore, the space for storing the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 in the toilet main body 2 can be more effectively ensured, and the degree of freedom of the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the connection pipe 52 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be effectively increased.
[0134]A wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to
[0135]
[0136]Herein, parts of the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment shown in
[0137]As shown in
[0138]However, the arrangement of a pump device 108 and an upstream connection pipe 152 relative to the toilet main body 2 of the wall-hung flush toilet 100 of the present embodiment is different from the arrangement of the pump device 8 and the upstream connection pipe 52 of the flush toilet 1 of the first embodiment above.
[0139]More specifically, in the wall-hung flush toilet 1 of the first embodiment above, the upstream connection pipe 52 that is connected to the pump device 8 extends in the lateral direction, whereas the structure of the flush toilet 100 of the present embodiment differs in that the upstream connection pipe 152 extends in the longitudinal direction, and the front side (the upstream side) of the upstream connection pipe 152 is connected to a back surface 4e of the front region F1 of the water storage tank 4.
[0140]In the wall-hung flush toilet 100 of the present embodiment as shown in
[0141]The connection pipe 152 extends behind the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a.
[0142]In the wall-hung flush toilet 100 of the present embodiment as shown in
[0143]When viewed in side-view and when viewed in bottom-view, the pump-side connection part 152b is positioned in front of the top part 18e of the drain trap pipe line 18a.
[0144]As shown in
[0145]As shown in
[0146]Effects of the wall-hung flush toilet 100 of the present embodiment will now be described with reference to
[0147]In the toilet main body 2 of the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment, the storage part (the storage space S1) that stores the water storage tank 4 of the tank device 6 is located below the bowl 16; and the water storage tank 4 is arranged in the storage part (the storage space S1) to straddle the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view; and at least a part of the connection pipe 152 and at least a part of the pump device 108 are located inside the region A1 of the drain trap 18 when viewed in bottom-view.
[0148]Therefore, the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap 18 can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0149]Even if there is a risk of the stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank 4 to the toilet main body 2 being obstructed by the water storage tank 4 tilting due to distortion or the like at the wall side and/or water storage tank side when fixing the wall-hung flush toilet 1 to the wall surface W, such a risk can be reduced by appropriately arranging parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 relative to the toilet main body 2.
[0150]Therefore, the stable supply of flush water from the water storage tank 4 to the toilet main body 2 via the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be ensured while effectively ensuring the space for storing the pump device 108 and the connection pipe 152 in the toilet main body 2.
[0151]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment, the connection pipe 152 extends behind the lowermost end part 18c of the drain trap pipe line 18a, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap 18 can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be more efficiently arranged relative to the toilet main body 2 without unutilized space.
[0152]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment, the connection pipe 152 includes the tank-side connection part 152a, which is connected to the water storage tank 4, and the pump-side connection part 152b, which is connected to the pump device 108; and the pump-side connection part 152b is positioned in front of the top part 18e of the drain trap pipe line 18a when viewed in bottom-view.
[0153]Therefore, the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap 18 can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be more efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0154]Interference of the pump device 108 with drain pipe lines located behind the top part 18e of the drain trap pipe line 18a, the drain socket 34 connected to the downstream side of the drain pipe line, etc., can be suppressed.
[0155]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment, the pump device 108 and the connection pipe 152 are located inside the region A1 of the drain trap 18 in the lateral direction when viewed in bottom-view, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap 18 can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0156]The degree of freedom of the arrangement of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 relative to the toilet main body 2 can be increased.
[0157]According to the wall-hung flush toilet 100 according to the present embodiment, the pump device 108 and the connection pipe 152 are located higher than the lowermost end 2a of the toilet main body 2, and so the dead space in the peripheral region below the drain trap 18 can be effectively used, and parts of the connection pipe 152 and the pump device 108 can be more efficiently arranged without unutilized space.
[0158]The pump device 108 and the connection pipe 152 each can be concealed in the interior (the storage space S1) of the toilet main body 2, and so the aesthetic appearance of the exterior of the flush toilet 100 can be improved.
[0159]The present invention is not limited to the configurations of the wall-hung flush toilets 1 and 100 of the first and second embodiments above, and various changes and modifications are possible within the range of the technical ideas described in the claims.
[0160]For example, the configuration of the water storage tank 4 of the wall-hung flush toilets 1 and 100 of the first and second embodiments above is described as being substantially a J-shape when viewed in top-view (substantially an L-shape when viewed in bottom-view), but the configuration of the water storage tank 4 is not limited to such a configuration, and may be substantially an L-shape when viewed in top-view (substantially a J-shape when viewed in bottom-view).
[0161]Put simply, as long as the water storage tank straddles the drain trap 18 in the lateral direction, the configuration of the water storage tank may be substantially an I-shape, a U-shape, etc., when viewed in top-view and when viewed in bottom-view.
