A cord end piece according to the invention may, for example, be configured to be permanently connected to a cord end of a cord, wherein the cord may be used in the automotive industry, for example on a car or a motorcycle. A cord end piece according to the invention may, for example, be configured to be permanently connected to one end of a cord, wherein the cord can be used in the jewelry industry. A cord end piece according to the invention may, for example, be configured to be permanently connected to one end of a cord, wherein the cord can be used as a pendant, for example as a key ring pendant. A cord used in the fashion industry can be flexibly integrated into a garment. For example, a cord used in the fashion industry can be assembled and/or disassembled in a garment. The end of a cord used in the fashion industry can be covered by a sheathing to prevent the cord from fraying. In the fashion industry, such a sheathing may be called “needling.”
[0008]A cord end piece for attaching a decorative element at a cord end according to the invention comprises a sleeve. The sleeve has a front section and a rear section. The rear section is configured to be permanently connected to a cord end. The front section has a mounting mechanism. The mounting mechanism is configured, such that a decorative element may be mounted and/or dismounted repeatedly.
[0009]A cord end piece according to the invention can have several advantages. For example, the decorative element attached to the cord end piece can be changed. This allows the design of the cord end to be customized without having to change the cord. For example, the decorative element may have a cross-section that is larger than the hole through which the cord can be threaded for the use of the cord. For example, a decorative element can be dismounted from one cord end in order to mount it to another cord end, for example, the end of a different cord. This can be particularly advantageous in the case of expensive decorative elements.
[0010]According to an embodiment of the invention, the mounting mechanism may be any mounting mechanism that enables repeated mounting and/or dismounting of a decorative element on the mounting mechanism.
[0011]According to an embodiment of the invention, a sleeve may be made of any material. For example, the sleeve may be made of plastic. This may reduce production costs. For example, the sleeve may be made of metal (e.g., gold, silver, titanium, and/or platinum). For example, the sleeve may be made of an alloy (e.g., white gold, chrome, and/or aluminum). This can make the sleeve more durable. For example, the sleeve can be made of polished or cast chrome. For example, the sleeve can be coated and/or colored. The sleeve can be visually up valued by the choice of material, coating, and/or coloring. For example, the sleeve can be made of elastic plastic. For example, the sleeve can be made of plastic. For example, the sleeve can be made of hard resin (e.g., epoxy resin). It may be advantageous to adapt the material of the sleeve to the mounting mechanism.
[0012]According to an embodiment of the invention, a sleeve may have the basic shape of a prism, a cuboid, a cube, a pyramid, a cone, a sphere, a cylinder, and/or a combination of the foregoing geometries. For example, a sleeve may have any shape, in particular a geometric shape. For example, a sleeve may have a polygon, a circle, an ellipse, and/or a combination thereof as its base. The base may be shifted parallel along an axis that does not lie in the plane of the base in order to obtain the basic shape of the sleeve. For example, the base may be shifted parallel along an axis perpendicular to the base in order to obtain the basic shape of the sleeve. The outer circumference of the sleeve may, for example, correspond to the surface(s) that run parallel to the axis. For example, the sleeve has a cylindrical basic shape. For example, the sleeve may have an elliptical base. The basic shape of the sleeve can be understood as the outer shape of the sleeve. The basic shape of the sleeve can be understood as the outer shape of the sleeve, wherein the mounting mechanism can be disregarded. The basic shape of the sleeve can be understood as the outer shape of the front section.
[0013]According to an embodiment of the invention, the mounting mechanism may be, for example, a thread, a plug connection, a click connection, and/or an elastic deformation. The thread may be an internal thread or an external thread. Optionally, the thread is a fine thread. The mounting mechanism may, for example, include the elastic deformation of a tube by a pin. A click connection may, for example, be a connection that can be released again by pressing a button.
[0014]According to an embodiment of the invention, the rear section may, for example, be configured to be permanently connected to a cord end by pressing, gluing, melting, and/or inelastic deformation. Optionally, the rear section may be permanently connected to a cord end if the rear section can only be removed from the cord end by destructive means. For example, solvents, inelastic deformation, and/or destruction of the cord end, the cord, and/or a sheathing may be considered destructive means.
[0015]According to an embodiment of the invention, the cord end piece may be configured to be permanently connected to the cord end by means of a sheathing.
