Description

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001]This Application claims the benefits of priority of Brazilian Patent Application No. 1020250007029, filed on Jan. 14, 2025, the content of which is incorporated herein by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002]The present invention falls within the field of furniture in general, more specifically school desks. The present invention refers to a support to be used so that it is possible to couple a tablet and a chair in an easy and safe manner, with the support being easily couplable to the legs of the chair, allowing a tablet to be coupled to the same.

BACKGROUNDS

[0003]A piece of furniture can be defined as a set of furniture intended for use and decoration in a home, office, hotel, school or any other establishment. Among the pieces of furniture, there can be mentioned as examples, chairs, beds, tables, cabinets, shelves, among others.

[0004]Considering chairs and tables in particular, and with the aim of making a pre-existing and independent piece of furniture, such as a chair, fully functional, so that the user can also enjoy a tablet coupled to this chair, a support was contemplated which, being fastened to a tablet, could be easily coupled to the legs of a previously independent chair, so as to result in a set of chair with coupled tablet, with total stability and safety.

STATE OF THE ART

[0005]Some documents of the state of the art disclose school desk structures that fall within the same field as the present invention, in which, however, the same functionality and result are not observed, as obtained by the present invention.

[0006]Documents MU 8100873-2 and MU 8002570-6, for example, disclose school desks as a single piece in which their technical construction and configuration elements allow two or more pieces to be stacked on top of each other, in order to considerably reduce the space occupied during transportation or storage or even inside the classroom.

[0007]It is well known that, in the state of the art, there are countless models of school desks comprising several configurations of the shape of tablets and chairs; however, although the state of the art already discloses school desks in a single piece aiming at greater practicality and space reduction, there are no models in the state of the art with a support that, being fastened to the tablet, is capable of easily being coupled to the legs of a previously independent chair so as to result in a set of chair with coupled tablet with total stability and safety.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

[0008]The purpose of the present invention is to make a pre-existing and independent piece of furniture, such as a chair, fully functional so that its user can also enjoy a tablet coupled to the same. Thus, a support was contemplated that, being fastened to the tablet, could be easily coupled to the legs of a previously existing and independent chair, so as to result in a set of chair with coupled tablet with total stability and safety.

[0009]The present invention comprises a support fastened to a tablet by any means of attachment, including, but not limited to, welding, glue, rivets or screws, the support being coupled to at least one of the legs of a chair by simply inserting the leg(s) of the chair into the fitting sleeve(s) of the support or by directly fastening the support to the leg(s) of the chair. Such a fitting may also be reinforced by the use of fastening means applied to the fitting sleeves.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0010]In order to help identify the main features of the invention, a FIGURE to which reference is made is presented as follows:

[0011]FIG. 1 is an illustration in perspective of the set of tablet with support coupled to a chair.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0012]The present invention aims at making a pre-existing and independent piece of furniture, such as a chair, fully functional so that its user can also enjoy a tablet coupled to the same.

[0013]In this way, a support (1) was contemplated that, being fastened to a tablet (4), could be easily coupled to the legs (3) of a previously existing and independent chair (5), so as to result in a set of chair with coupled tablet with total stability and safety. The support is coupled to a tablet (4) that is positioned in front of the chair (5), and the tablet (4) can be of various shapes, such as rectangular, square, circular, trapezoidal and others. The tablet (4) must also be long enough to fill the entire area in front of the chair (5), as can be seen in FIG. 1.

[0014]Alternatively, the tablet (4) can also be long enough to fill almost the entire area in front of the chair (5).

[0015]The invention comprises a support (1) fastened to a tablet (4) by any fastening means including, but not limited to welding, glue, rivets or screws, with the support (1) being fitted to at least one of the legs (3) of a chair (5). The fitting of the support (1) to the leg(s) (3) of the chair (5) can be done by simply inserting the leg(s) (3) of the chair (5) into the fitting sleeve(s) (2) of the support (1). However, such a fitting can also be reinforced through the use of fastening means applied to the fitting sleeves (2), such as welding, glue, rivets or screws, which penetrate the sleeve (2) of the support (1) and the leg (3), joining both.

[0016]Alternatively, the coupling between the support (1) and the legs (3) of the chair (5) can be done without using the sleeves (2), that is, by directly joining the support (1) to the legs (3) of the chair (5) by using fastening means such as welding, glue, rivets or screws.

[0017]It is also important to mention that, in addition to providing practicality by having a set of tablet and chair in a single piece, the invention also has the advantage of allowing a tablet to be coupled to any pre-existing and independent chair, providing the possibility of replacing the support (1) and consequently the tablet or chair with ease.

[0018]Another advantage is to provide greater strength to the chair (5), since the support (1), when attached to at least one of the legs (3) of the chair (5), also has support legs just below the tablet that rest on the floor, providing strength and stability to the set.

[0019]Obviously, variations in shape, without changing the technical-functional unit, must also be contemplated within the scope of the present invention. In other words, the support (1) does not necessarily need to have a prismatic tubular shape, and may be cylindrical tubular, for example. The same applies to the shape of the fitting sleeves (2) of the support (1). In addition, the support (1) may also contemplate configurations for fitting on both sides of the chair, in addition to comprising at least one fitting sleeve (2) for each leg (3) of the chair.
