A plug connector includes an outer member and an insulated member. The outer member has a receiving groove. One of two ends of the outer member has a mating side, and the other end of the outer member has an assembling side. The outer member includes a mating ring portion, one or more extension portions, and one or more elastic pieces. The mating ring portion is at the mating side. The extension portion, the elastic piece, and the mating ring portion are integrally formed as a one-piece structure. The extension portion extends toward the assembling side from a side end of one side of the mating ring portion, and the elastic piece is bent at an end portion of the extension portion and arranged at a side portion of the extension portion. The insulated member is in the receiving groove.

Provided is an electrical connector, including an inner housing, two first components, multiple terminals respectively disposed in the first components, two second components, two metallic sheets, and an outer housing accommodating the inner housing, the terminals, the first components, the second components, and the metallic sheets. The inner housing has a insertion space, an inner wall surface facing towards the insertion space, an outer wall surface facing away from the insertion space, and multiple first openings connecting the inner wall surface and the outer wall surface. The terminals are assembled to the outer wall surface along with the first components. Connecting ends of the terminals extend from the outer wall surface through the first openings to the insertion space. The second components assembled to the inner housing shield the connecting ends and the first openings. The metallic sheets are assembled to the inner housing and stacked on the second components.

A board-to-board plug connector includes a base portion, a plug member, and a plurality of plug signal terminals. Each of the plug signal terminals includes a fixed section, a flat contact section, and an extension section. Two ends of the fixed section respectively extend toward the flat contact section and the extension section. The base portion includes two inner walls, a tongue portion, a recessed portion, and a plurality of signal terminal grooves. The tongue portion is between the two inner walls, the signal terminal grooves are at two sides of the tongue portion and at the two inner walls, and the recessed portion is enclosed by one end of the tongue portion and the two inner walls. The plug member is arranged in the recessed portion, and the plug member contacts the extension sections of the plug signal terminals.

A floating-type board-to-board receptacle connector includes a fixed base, a floating base, and receptacle power terminals. The floating base is in a through groove of the fixed base. The receptacle power terminal includes a contact section, a first fixed section, a second fixed section, a first bent portion, an inclined portion, and a second bent portion. The first fixed section is engaged with the floating base, and the second fixed section is engaged with the fixed base. The contact section extends toward an interior of the floating base from the first fixed section, and the first bent portion extends toward the inclined portion from the first fixed section. Two ends of the second bent portion respectively extend toward the inclined portion and the second fixed section. The second fixed section is a continuous plate. A width of the second bent portion is less than that of the second fixed section.

A connector assembly includes a board-end connector and a cable-end connector. The board-end connector includes an outer shell and an insulated housing, a terminal module, and a conductive body in the outer shell. The outer shell includes a cover plate and a frame opening portion and has first elastic pieces and second elastic pieces. The insulated housing has a receiving cavity and an insertion opening. The terminal module includes ground terminals and pairs of signal terminals. The conductive body includes a main body and third elastic pieces. The main body is connected to the second elastic pieces, and each of the third elastic pieces is connected to a corresponding one of the ground terminals. The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug, and two surfaces of the flexible parallel cable include grounding conduction portions.

A connector assembly includes a board-end connector and a cable-end connector. The board-end connector includes an outer shell, an insulated housing, and a terminal module. The insulated housing is in the outer shell and has a receiving cavity. Each side of the insulated housing has a groove configured to arrange a corresponding flexible locking portion of the outer shell. The terminal module is in the receiving cavity and includes ground terminals and pairs of signal terminals arranged as a single row along an axial line. The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug at one end of the flexible parallel cable, and an engaging portion is at each side of the plug. When the plug is inserted into the receiving cavity through an insertion opening of the insulated housing, each of the engaging portions is engaged with a corresponding one of the flexible locking portions.

A connector assembly includes a board-end connector and a cable-end connector. The board-end connector includes an insulated housing, flexible locking members, an outer shell, a pressing member, and a terminal module. The insulated housing has a receiving cavity. Each of two sides of the insulated housing has a recess in communication with the receiving cavity and an engaging block extending outward. The flexible locking members are engaged with the engaging blocks. The pressing member is arranged outside the outer shell to be connected to the flexible locking members. The terminal module is in the receiving cavity and includes ground terminals and several pairs of signal terminals arranged as a single row along an axial line. The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug at one end of the flexible parallel cable.

A connector assembly includes a board-end connector and a cable-end connector. The board-end connector includes an outer shell, an insulated housing, and a terminal module. The insulated housing has a receiving cavity. Two ends of the insulated housing have an insertion opening and an assembling opening in communication with the receiving cavity, respectively. The terminal module is in the receiving cavity and includes ground terminals and pairs of signal terminals arranged as a single row along an axial line. The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug at one end of the flexible parallel cable. When the plug of the cable-end connector is inserted into the receiving cavity through the insertion opening, each of contacts on the plug firstly contacts a first contact portion of a corresponding one of the ground terminals and then contacts a second contact portion of a corresponding one of the signal terminals.

A cable-end connector of an optical-fiber connector assembly includes a cable-end shell, an insulating housing, a first terminal module, a second terminal module, and a cable-end optical communication module. The cable-end shell has an accommodation groove. The insulating housing is in the accommodation groove and includes a first plate and a second plate which are opposite to each other, two insertion grooves between the first plate and the second plate, and a mating opening in communication with the insertion grooves. The first terminal module is arranged at one end of the insulating housing away from the mating opening. The first and second terminal modules respectively include first and a second terminal bases as well as first and second plug power terminals. One end of each of the first or second plug power terminals extend toward the two sides of the insertion grooves from the first or second plates.

An optical-fiber connector assembly includes a board-end connector. The board-end connector includes a board-end shell, an insulating housing, receptacle power terminals, and a board-end optical communication module. The board-end shell has an insertion opening and an accommodation space in the insertion opening. The insulating housing is in the accommodation space and includes a base portion and two tongue portions outward extending from a side surface of the base portion. The insulating housing includes an assembling portion defined through the base portion and between the tongue portions. The receptacle power terminals are retained in the base portion, and one ends of the receptacle power terminals are exposed from two faces of the tongue portions and arranged as two rows. The board-end optical communication module is on the assembling portion.
