This application is generally related to identifying or otherwise programming one or more cycling parameters for operation of an implantable pulse generator to provide a neurostimulation therapy to a patient using a non-paresthesia stimulation pattern. In some embodiments, the cycling parameter is selected by measuring physiological signals during trial stimulation. In other embodiments, multiple cycling parameters are identified for use by the patient using a patient controller device.

Systems and methods are disclosed for conducting spinal cord stimulation or other neurostimulation and sensing evoked compound action potential (ECAP) signals. The sensed signals may be processed to isolate ECAP features from noise and/or interfering signals. The isolated ECAP features may be used to control neurostimulation therapy for the patient, such as to quantify or measure lead migration and adjust a neurostimulation therapy for the patient to account for an impact of any detected lead migration, or other purposes (e.g., to guide an implant procedure).

Embodiments are directed to an implantable medical device comprising therapeutic stimulation circuitry for controlling delivery of a medical therapy to a patient, the therapeutic stimulation circuitry having at least one lead having electrodes for delivering the medical therapy, The implantable medical device further comprises measurement circuitry for determining characteristics of the at least one lead, a processor for controlling the IMD according to executable code, and memory for storing data and executable code, wherein the executable code comprises instructions for causing the processor to receive a plurality of voltage measurements associated with the electrodes, and calculate values for an impedance model of the electrode/tissue interface.

In some embodiments, a method of providing a neurostimulation therapy to a patient comprises: generating, by an implantable pulse generator (IPG), electrical pulses comprising a plurality of pulses having a uniform pulse width over time and a pulse amplitude that changes over time, and applying the generated electrical pulses to neural tissue of the patient to inhibit neural activity of the patient. The pulse amplitude may change sinusoidally, linearly, or exponentially over time.

This application is generally related to systems and methods for providing a medical therapy to a patient by tracking patient activity and adjusting medical therapy based on occurrence of different types of activities performed by the patient while automatically rescheduling stimulation programs based on detected patient activity.

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for providing neurostimulation therapy according to gait features. The gait features may be analyzed to develop a patient model between gait features and optimal settings for a neurostimulation therapy using machine learning operations. The model is used to control ongoing neurostimulation therapy for the patient.

Systems and methods which provide retractable anchor configurations for medical device leads are described. A retractable anchor may implement a retractable distention composed of a resilient material. The retractable distention may be distended when in a neutral state and may be contracted when in a biased state. A biasing bulkhead may be configured to receive a bias force sufficient to retract the retractable distention. A stylet may be inserted into an axial lumen of a medical device lead having retractable tip anchor structure and may engage the biasing bulkhead to apply a bias force. A stylet knob may be configured to interface with the stylet and provide bias force to be transferred to the biasing bulkhead of the retractable tip anchor structure. Locking the stylet knob on the medical device lead may maintain the bias force applied to the biasing bulkhead until the stylet knob is unlocked.

A system, method and network architecture for facilitating remote care delivery involving a patient having an implantable medical device (IMD). Upon establishing a remote care session between a patient controller device and a clinician programmer, wherein the clinician and the patient are remotely located with respect to each other, telehealth consultation may be provided to the patient by the clinician via an audiovisual (AV) communications session channel. Responsive to determining that the patient requires remote therapy, one or more (re)programming instructions may be provided to the patient's IMD via a remote therapy session channel of the remote care session using an integrated graphical user interface (GUI) that may include suitable GUI controls for AV communications, remote session control as well as the remote programming of the patient's IMD.
