A system and method are provided for adaptively optimizing client station wake-up schedules in wireless networks for efficient and reliable communication. By analyzing one or more received beacon frames and classifying them as current or preceding, the client station determines if the access point transmits beacon frames early. In response to detecting that the received beacon frame is a current beacon frame, a lead time is calculated based on transmission time and target time of the received beacon frame. The client station uses the lead time to wake up early enough to reliably receive beacon frames while minimizing unnecessary power usage.

The present disclosure provides a system and a method for image compression. The method includes obtaining an image frame and dividing it into a set of image blocks. A preliminary quantization profile is then obtained. Each image block undergoes a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) to create a frequency-dependent image profile, which is subsequently quantized using the preliminary quantization profile and compressed using at least one compression encoding algorithm. The size of the compressed image frame is compared with a target size range, and the preliminary quantization profile is updated based on the comparison result. Additionally, the method includes dynamically adjusting the target size range based on environmental or network conditions of the system, thereby enhancing real-time adaptability and efficiency in handling dynamic environment and complex scenes.

Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for parking management and navigation. One method includes operations for determining an availability of a parking space having a parking space ID, obtaining a radio-frequency ID associated with a vehicle occupying the parking space, and communicating the parking space ID and the radio-frequency ID to a storage device via a self-organized network formed by multiple parking space terminals. Further, the method includes operations for providing navigation to a vacant parking space and providing navigation to a parked vehicle.

The present disclosure address systems and methods for fast reconnection of Internet of Things (IoT) devices to a previously connected Access Point (AP). The method may include storing network parameters of the AP, including a service set identifier (SSID) and a channel, in a memory of the IoT device during the first connection, entering a power saving mode to terminate the first connection with the AP, changing from the power saving mode to a wakeup mode, listening in the stored channel while operating in the wakeup mode until a Beacon signal is received or a predetermined time duration has passed, upon receiving the Beacon signal, comparing the stored SSID with an SSID contained in the Beacon signal; and in response to a comparison result that the stored SSID matches with the SSID contained in the Beacon signal, establishing a second connection with the AP based on the Beacon signal.

Various embodiments described herein support or provide for electrical disturbance testing, including establishing a communication session between an onboard unit and a roadside unit; generating a radio frequency signal to interfere with the communication session; detecting an interrupt of the communication session at a frequency point associated with the RF signal; determining that the interrupt is caused by a failure of uplink data transmission in the communication session; and adjusting a position of the roadside unit or adjusting a filter communicatively coupled between the roadside unit and the associated antenna to cause the communication session to be reestablished at the frequency point associated with the radio frequency signal.

Methods and systems for dynamic network keep-alive are described. In one embodiment, the method comprises establishing a link with an access point, determining a client station time interval and iteratively adjusting the duration of the client station time interval to approximate the access point time interval until the client station time interval is a close approximation of the access point time interval, thereby performing the keep-alive process at an efficient manner.

The invention is particularly beneficial for manufacturers aiming to ensure high reliability in their devices such as Internet-of-Thing (IoT) devices and other technology products configured to receive OTA updates.

Various embodiments described herein support or provide for using speaker cables for radio frequency signal transmission, including generating, via an audio hardware component included in a circuit, a differential audio signal; generating, via a radio frequency hardware component included in the circuit, a radio frequency signal; and outputting the differential audio signal and the radio frequency signal via a speaker cable communicatively coupled to the circuit, the speaker cable being configured to operate as a Planar Inverted F-Antenna (PIFA).

The present disclosure address systems and methods for improving the performance of Interest of Things (IoT) devices in receiving Beacon signals. The method includes receiving a first signal from an access point (AP) of a network environment, extracting a time synchronization value of the AP from the first signal, obtaining a local time synchronization value corresponding to the time synchronization value of the AP, and determining whether a preset condition is satisfied. The preset condition may indicate that the receiving of the first signal is to be interrupted. The method further includes in response to a determination that the preset condition is satisfied, obtaining a time synchronization offset value, adjusting the local time synchronization value based on the time synchronization offset value and the time synchronization value of the AP, and preparing to receive a second signal according to the adjusted local time synchronization value.

The present disclosure provides system and methods for allocating the schedule period among multiple channels. The method includes receiving a first signal from a first channel and receiving a second signal from a second channel. The first signal includes a first communication request and the second signal includes a second communication request. The method includes determining a first priority degree corresponding to the first communication request and a second priority degree corresponding to the second communication request, estimating a first data flow in the first signal over a schedule period and a second data flow in the second signal over the schedule period, and allocating the schedule period to the first channel and the second channel based on the first priority degree, the second priority degree, the estimated first data flow, and the estimated second data flow.
