A lockout system for a metering pump is provided. The lockout system can include a user interface that is used to switch the pump between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. In the locked configuration, the operation of the pump cannot be adjusted through the user interface. In the unlocked configuration, the operation of the pump can be adjusted through the user interface. The lockout system can include a passkey notice that provides information regarding how to use the user interface to switch the pump between the locked and unlocked configurations.

A pump can include a pump head, a body housing, a motor disposed within the body housing, and a motor shaft extending from the motor. The pump head can include a sensor, at least a first interface portion, and at least a first elongate conductor electrically connecting the sensor to the at least a first interface portion. The body housing can include at least a second interface portion and at least a second elongate conductor electrically connecting the at least a second interface portion to pump electronics. The sensor can be configured to sense when the at least a first interface portion does not contact the at least a second interface portion. When the at least a first interface portion does not contact the at least a second interface portion and the pump head is removed from the body housing, the pump head can be pivotable relative the motor shaft such that an orientation of the pump head can be changed with respect to the body housing.

A rotor assembly for a peristaltic pump is provided. Each of a first pair of roller assemblies includes a first roller portion having a first diameter and a second roller portion having a second diameter. The first diameter is larger than the second diameter. Each of a second pair of roller assemblies includes a first roller portion having a first diameter and a second roller portion having a second diameter. The first diameter is smaller than the second diameter. The first and second pairs of roller assemblies are positionable around a circumference of a hub such that the first roller portion of the first pair of roller assemblies is aligned with the first roller portion of the second pair of roller assemblies and the second roller portion of the first pair of roller assemblies is aligned with the second roller portion of the second pair of roller assemblies.

A pump can include a pump head, a body housing, a motor disposed within the body housing, and a motor shaft extending from the motor. The pump head can include a sensor, at least a first interface portion, and at least a first elongate conductor electrically connecting the sensor to the at least a first interface portion. The body housing can include at least a second interface portion and at least a second elongate conductor electrically connecting the at least a second interface portion to pump electronics. The sensor can be configured to sense when the at least a first interface portion does not contact the at least a second interface portion. When the at least a first interface portion does not contact the at least a second interface portion and the pump head is removed from the body housing, the pump head can be pivotable relative the motor shaft such that an orientation of the pump head can be changed with respect to the body housing.

A method of calibrating a pump system can include providing a pump, calibrating a pump input with an input device connected to the pump, and calibrating a pump output with an output device connected to the pump. Calibrating the pump input can include selecting a first input signal value, generating a transmitted input signal corresponding to the first input signal value, and setting a nominative pump input value to the first input signal value. Calibrating the pump output can include receiving a received output signal outputted from the pump, and setting a nominative pump output value to the first input signal value.

Calibrating the pump input can include selecting a first input signal value, generating a transmitted input signal corresponding to the first input signal value, and setting a nominative pump input value to the first input signal value. Calibrating the pump output can include receiving a received output signal outputted from the pump, and setting a nominative pump output value to the first input signal value.

A pump system can include a tube disposed about a rotor. The rotor can be configured to drive fluid through the tube as the rotor rotates. The tube can be replaceable when the tube fails. The pump system can include a processor configured to determine a predicted number of revolutions of the rotor before the tube fails based on a number n of past tube failure detection (TFD) events. Each past TFD event can have a corresponding n th TFD value based at least in part on the number of revolutions the rotor had rotated before the tube failed. When n=0, the predicted number of revolutions can be set to a putative value, and when n=1, the predicted number of revolutions can be based at least in part on the first TFD value and the putative value.

A rotor assembly for a peristaltic pump is provided. Each of a first pair of roller assemblies includes a first roller portion having a first diameter and a second roller portion having a second diameter. The first diameter is larger than the second diameter. Each of a second pair of roller assemblies includes a first roller portion having a first diameter and a second roller portion having a second diameter. The first diameter is smaller than the second diameter. The first and second pairs of roller assemblies are positionable around a circumference of a hub such that the first roller portion of the first pair of roller assemblies is aligned with the first roller portion of the second pair of roller assemblies and the second roller portion of the first pair of roller assemblies is aligned with the second roller portion of the second pair of roller assemblies.

A diaphragm pump assembly can include a pump drive chamber, a first pump diaphragm chamber, and a second pump diaphragm chamber. The assembly can include a pump motor configured to rotate a motor shaft extending into the pump drive chamber. The assembly can include a cam connected to the motor shaft and configured to rotate in response to rotation of the motor shaft. The assembly can include a drive yoke having a yoke frame and a yoke pocket having a first wall and a second wall parallel and opposite the first wall. First and second pistons can connect to the drive yoke and to first and second diaphragms, respectively. The diameter of the cam can be less than and within 5% the width of yoke pocket and the yoke can be configured to move the pistons along a straight line.
