The invention relates to a composition for promoting the growth of legumes. The composition includes auxin, choline chloride and γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The invention also relates to a method for promoting the growth of legumes.

Present invention teaches the method of using a keratin hydrolysis peptide (“KHP”) solution to improve the growth of various farming plants exposed to acidity stress by selectively choosing specific weights of feathers and water, and treating the mixture to a high-temperature high-pressure hydrolysis process, the resulting solution is confirmed to contain at least 253 peptides and then infused to the soil or other growth medium. Optionally, the KHP solution can be diluted by water, as disclosed in the specification, for applying to the soil or other growth medium.

A use of an amino acid peptide solution produced by decomposition of fish scales using Bacillus velezensis for promoting germination and seedling growth of Gramineae is provided. The Bacillus velezensis is deposited in Leibniz Institute DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures GmbH with an accession number of DSM 34894. Fish scale materials are decomposed by the Bacillus velezensis to produce a fish-scale amino acid peptide solution containing amino acids and peptides. After the fish-scale amino acid peptide solution being applied to treat seeds of Gramineae, germination and seedling growth of Gramineae are effectively and specifically improved.

A use of an amino acid peptide solution produced by decomposition of fish scales using Bacillus velezensis for healthy and strong growth of Gramineae seedlings and growth promotion of Gramineae is provided. A mass production method using Bacillus velezensis for decomposition of fish scales and product of the same is provided. The Bacillus velezensis is deposited in Leibniz Institute DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures GmbH with an accession number of DSM 34894. The mass production method includes the steps of culturing a bacterial solution of Bacillus velezensis , mixing the bacterial solution with a fish scale material to get a mixed solution, and allowing the mixed solution to react at 37° C. for 12-24 hours for decomposition of the fish scale material. The present mass production method not only can be used to decompose a larger quantity of fish scales but also applied to mass production of a fish scale decomposition product. Thereby the present method has industrial application value.

Present invention teaches the method of using a keratin hydrolysis peptide (“KHP”) solution to prevent cabbage clubroot disease caused by the pathogen of Plasmodiaphora brassicae . By selectively choosing specific weights of feathers and water, and treating the mixture to a high-temperature high-pressure hydrolysis process, the resulting solution is confirmed to contain at least 253 peptides and then apply to the cabbage plants by infusing to the soil containing the cabbage plants. Optionally, the KHP solution can be diluted by water, as disclosed in the specification before infusing to the soil.
