A method and a system for enhancing contrast for an electro-optical video for live streaming is disclosed. An image block from an electro-optical frame of a video is received, where a number of pixels in the image block are identified to compute intensity of the image block. A distribution of intensity of the number of pixels in the image block is determined, and from the distribution, a degree of variation is determined, where a lower threshold and upper threshold for the intensity are determined. An upper set of pixels and a lower set of pixels is determined, which is then used to modify the distribution. The degree of variation is modified to determine uniformity in distribution intensity. A transform using the uniformity is constructed to enhance the contrast of the image block. The contrast of all image blocks of the electro-optical is enhanced by applying the transform.

A training round for performing indirect fire mission, including a top end oriented towards a direction of projectile motion of the training round. A bottom end is situated opposite to the top end. The top end and the bottom end are separated by a first distance. An adjuster is arranged between the top end and the bottom end to adjust a length of the training round. The adjuster compresses such that the top end and the bottom end are separated by a second distance. The second distance is less than the first distance. A round sensor attached to the training round and communicatively couples to a simulation computer while performing the indirect fire training mission.

A fire-control display adapter for a weapon scope. The fire-control display adapter consists of a display unit positioned at the scope's objective bell and aligned in front of the scope's objective lens. A range finder calculates the distance from a target's aimpoint. A ballistic computer is communicably coupled to both the display unit and the distance sensor. The ballistic computer computes a ballistic solution and causes the display unit to display it. To power to the distance sensor and the display unit, a power source is communicably coupled to the ballistic computer. A mount detachably secures the fire-control display adapter to the weapon's rail.

An interface system may include a communication interface. The interface system may include one or more processing units communicatively coupled with the communication interface. The interface system may include a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed, cause the one or more processing units to provide an application programming interface (API) that enables a managing authority system and a plurality of mobility entity systems to communicate with one another and the interface system via the communications interface. Each of the mobility entity systems may provide at least one mode of transportation. The instructions may further cause the one or more processing units to establish a communications link between the managing authority system and at least one of the plurality of mobility entity systems.

A clip-on display for mounting to a riflescope may include a clamp member. The clamp may include first lateral member. The clamp may include a second lateral member spaced apart from the first lateral member. The clamp may include a collar that extends between and couples the first lateral member and the second lateral member. The clamp may include a first clamp arm and a second clamp arm. Each of the first clamp arm and the second clamp arm may include a fixed end that extends from the first lateral member and a free end that is coupleable with the second lateral member to tighten the respective clamp arm. The clip-on display may include a beam splitter coupled with the clamp.

A base station server of a combat simulation system includes, a communications interface, a processor and a memory. The memory has instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive an indication of a trigger pull from a weapon device and receive a data packet from the weapon device. The data packet may include an orientation of the weapon device and a position of the weapon device. The instructions further cause the processor to determine a position and an orientation of a target and identify a ballistic path of a simulated projectile fired from the weapon device. The ballistic path may be based at least in part on the orientation and the position of the weapon device. The instructions further cause the processor to determine a ballistic outcome by identifying whether the ballistic path intersects with the position of the target.

A system and method for filtering chirp noise as it passes through a Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) gateway in a communication network is disclosed. Radio signals often include a short burst of chirm noise. Incoming signals are buffered and any chirp noise is detected. A chirp filter performs the filtering operation to remove chirp signal while ensuring true audio in not clipped. Without audio clipping the integrity of the audio signals are preserved.

A method for performing traffic monitoring by utilizing distinct sensors is disclosed. A radar point cloud is obtained from a radar sensor and image data is obtained from an image sensor. The radar sensor and the image sensor are fixedly mounted to observe traffic. The radar sensor and the image are synchronized for managing a flow of data for the radar sensor and the image sensor. A first classifier is applied on the first dataset to generate first classifications. A second classifier is applied on the second dataset to generate second classifications. The first classifications and the second classifications from the radar sensor and the image sensor are integrated to generate a composite classification.

An automatic zoom-sensing riflescope display adapter (RDA) system can illuminate an iris of a user with a beam from a light emitter. The RDA system can activate a display which includes at least one graphical element visible by the user through an eyepiece. Additionally, the RDA system can focus an image of the iris on a sensor. The RDA system can determine a diameter of the iris from the image of the iris using an iris analyzer. The RDA system can develop a calibration table that correlates the diameter of the iris to a zoom level of an optical scope. The RDA system can estimate the zoom level of the optical scope from the diameter of the iris via the calibration table. Additionally, the RDA system can adjust, to match the zoom level, a font size of the at least one graphical element of the display.
