A screen deck configured to receive a screen assembly includes side mounting assemblies that are configured to removably couple to side edges of a screen assembly. The side mounting assemblies can include one or more upwardly extending projections. A screen assembly configured to be mounted to the screen deck includes side edges that include one or more recesses that are configured to receive the upwardly extending projections of the side mounting assemblies on the screen deck. When the screen assembly is removably mounted on the screen deck, a top portion of the upwardly extending projections on the side mounting assemblies of the screen deck are located above a top surface of a screening surface of the screen assembly. The side mounting assemblies on the screen deck may also include one or more inwardly extending projections that are received in corresponding recesses on sides of the screen assembly.

The present disclosure relates to baffle assemblies, nozzles, and related systems and methods for handling solid discharges of centrifuge separators. In one implementation, a two-piece baffle assembly configured to be positioned around discharge nozzles of a centrifuge separator includes a first segment and a second segment configured to attach to the first segment. The first segment includes a first baffle, a second baffle, and a first discharge gap formed between the first baffle and the second baffle. The second segment includes a frame having an arcuate shape, a third baffle extending inwardly relative to the arcuate frame, a fourth baffle extending inwardly relative to the arcuate frame, and a second discharge gap formed between the third baffle and the fourth baffle.

A screen assembly is formed by attaching side edges of a plurality of screen elements to each other. Reinforcing fibers may be embedded in the material of selected screen elements. The reinforcing fibers extend in a direction in which the screen assembly will be tensioned to secure the screen assembly to a screening machine. Hook strips may be attached to ends or sides of the screen assembly to facilitate mounting the screen assembly to a screening machine.

A screen deck configured to receive a screen assembly includes side mounting assemblies that are configured to removably couple to side edges of a screen assembly. A screen assembly configured to be mounted to the screen deck includes side edges that include one or more recesses that are configured to receive the upwardly extending projections of the side mounting assemblies on the screen deck. The side mounting assemblies on the screen deck may also include one or more inwardly extending projections that are received in corresponding recesses on sides of the screen assembly.

A screen assembly is formed by attaching side edges of a plurality of screen elements to each other. Reinforcing fibers may be embedded in the material of selected screen elements. The reinforcing fibers extend in a direction in which the screen assembly will be tensioned to secure the screen assembly to a screening machine. Hook strips may be attached to ends or sides of the screen assembly to facilitate mounting the screen assembly to a screening machine.

A vibratory screening machine includes replaceable screen assemblies. Compression mechanisms are used to secure replaceable screen assemblies to the vibratory screening machine. Each compression mechanism applies a force to a replaceable screen assembly that includes both a horizontal component and a downward vertical component. Each replaceable screen assembly is typically substantially flat prior to installation on a vibratory screening machine. The force applied to a screen assembly by one or more compression mechanisms causes the screen assembly to be pushed into engagement with underlying concave support members such that the screen assembly itself assumes a concave shape with the center of the screen assembly being lower than the side edges. The vertical downward component of the force helps to secure the screen assembly to the screening machine.

A disclosed screening apparatus includes a subgrid, and a screen element attached to the subgrid via laser welding at a plurality of attachment positions such that, under vibrational excitation, the screen element has a pre-determined profile of vibrational motion relative to the subgrid. The screen element may be attached at a maximal number of attachment locations to the subgrid to minimize relative motion of the screen element and the subgrid under vibrational excitation, or the screen element may be attached a sub-set of the maximal number of attachment locations to allow vibrational motion of the screen element relative to the subgrid. A disclosed method may include attaching a plurality of screen elements to a respective plurality of subgrids, attaching the plurality of subgrids to one another to form a screening pre-assembly, and cutting edges of the screening pre-assembly to form the screen assembly having a perimeter with a pre-determined shape.

Vibratory screening machines that include stacked screening deck assemblies are provided. In some embodiments, at least one of the vibratory screening machines can include an outer frame, an inner frame connected to the outer frame, and a vibratory motor assembly secured to the inner frame for vibrating the inner frame. A plurality of screen deck assemblies can be attached to the inner frame in a stacked arrangement, each configured to receive replaceable screen assemblies. The screen assemblies can be secured to respective ones of the plurality of the screen deck assemblies by tensioning the screen assemblies in a direction that a material to be screened flows across the screen assemblies. An undersized material discharge assembly can be configured to receive materials that pass through the screen assemblies, and an oversized material discharge assembly can be configured to receive materials that pass over the screen assemblies.

A material separation system is disclosed that may include a vibratory shaker, a centrifuge, a sensor, and/or a processor circuit. The vibratory shaker may be configured to separate a solid-liquid mixture into a first solids-containing component and a shaker effluent. The sensor may be configured to measure a property of one or more of the solid-liquid mixture, the first solids-containing component, the shaker effluent, and the second solids-containing. A well-performance analysis system may be configured to analyze mud reports of drilling rigs within a geographic basin to determine which rigs are performing inefficiently. The system may allow recommendations and send control signals to improve the efficiency of the solid-liquid separation system. The system may allow an operator to view agglomerated well performance data to identify which rigs are performing below a geographic basin baseline and make informed decisions to improve the functioning of a solid-liquid separation system associated with one or more drilling rigs.

Disclosed embodiments include a screen deck assembly that can be mounted on a vibratory screening machine. The screen deck assembly includes a plurality of elongated support members that extend in a first direction. A plurality of support rods are mounted to the elongated support members. The support members and support rods form a screen support surface. The support rods extend in a direction that is transverse to the support members.
