A system and method to optimize video streaming of a plurality of USB cameras streaming via a bulk interface of a universal serial bus (USB), the system comprising a host unit communicating on universal serial bus (USB) via the bulk interface, a throughput analyzer computer program residing in the host unit, at least a USB Camera with a varying throughput, a dynamically programmable image sensor varies a throughput of the USB camera, a throughput control block of the USB camera receives input from the throughput analyzer computer program and adjusts the throughput of the camera, the USB controller regulates a transmission of USB packet buffers from each of the USB Camera to the host unit. The method comprises assessing by the throughput analyzer computer program of the universal serial bus utilization by the host unit by including all connected devices, and includes selectively dropping a plurality of data packet/frames.

A system for detecting a connectivity status of a cable connector assembly or a device includes a cable having one or more conductive layers to act as a shield, provide required impedance for electrical signals in an inner most conductive layer, and provides electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, one or more insulation layers surrounding the cable, a plug connector of use for mounting on a PCB and a receptacle connector. The plug connector includes a center contact terminated as a center contact pin, at least two cable connection status pins layered within a housing of the plug connector terminated as two cable connection status pins to detect the connectivity status of the cable or the device and health status of the cable.

A system and method for creating stereoscopic (3D) vision includes a first image sensor and a second image sensor with an adjustable focal length to capture a first image and a second image of an object from different perspectives. These image sensors are positioned in the same plane and angled inward, so their optical axes converge at a point. A processor connected to these sensors dynamically calculates a distance between the object and the image sensors as and when the focal length is changed. The processor processes the captured images and dynamically shifts one of the images relative to the other based on the object's position with respect to the convergence point. The processor identifies a fixed Region of Interest (ROI) and crops the ROI from the shifted image to create a stereoscopic (3D) vision independent of the focal length adjustment.

The present invention describes method for recovering camera streaming during failures in streaming process of camera device. Method comprising: initializing, at camera driver probe, stream monitor array of structures, each structure in having preconfigured camera device identification details; detecting error associated with camera device; invoking error handling thread upon detecting error in streaming process; comparing camera device index associated with camera device facing detected error to unique camera index in preconfigured camera device identification details of each camera device in stream monitor array; identifying if camera device index matches with unique name index of camera device in stream monitor array to identify camera index of camera device facing detected error; and resetting camera function of camera device according to camera index in case camera device index is matched with unique name. The disclosure further relates to system for recovering camera streaming during failures in the streaming process of camera device.

A system to detect a gaze at an object by utilizing an image sensor is disclosed. The system includes a processing subsystem including a detection module to detect at least one face of a person. The detection module is to identify a gender of the person. The processing subsystem includes a depth estimator module to estimate a distance of the person from the image sensor. The processing subsystem includes a height estimator module to estimate a height of the person. The processing subsystem also includes a horizontal position estimator module to estimate a relative position of the person with respect to the image sensor. The processing subsystem includes a computing module to compute a range of pitch angle and a range of yaw angle. The processing subsystem includes a recognizing module to recognize the gaze of the person.

A dispensing system to apply grease to a lens holder is provided. The dispensing system includes a lens holder cavity adapted to accommodate a lens holder and a loading area. The loading area includes a damping grease cartridge to accommodate the grease. The dispensing system includes a nozzle apply a predetermined volume of the grease to the inner diameter of the threads. The dispensing system includes a first servo motor to control the height of the lens holder and a second servo motor to ensure a uniform dispense of the predetermined volume grease. The dispensing system is controlled by a programmable logic controller that includes a human machine interface panel adapted to control process parameters. The programmable logic controller and the human machine interface panel are adapted to modify dispensing time, rotation speed, rotation angle to regulate dispensing of the grease.
