An assembly is provided for securing an infant car seat within an automobile. The assembly comprises a base having; a front, a back and a top area extending between the front and the back, the top area defining a channel. The assembly further comprises an arm pivotally coupled to the base. The arm is pivotal between a first position with the arm pivoted away from the top area allowing open access to the channel and a second position with the arm pivoted adjacent the top area preventing open access to the channel. The assembly further comprises a tray rotatably coupled to a top surface of the arm, such that the tray is rotatable with respect to the arm, the tray having a top surface adapted to receive an infant car seat.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a car seat comprising a base and a seat shell. The base comprises a receiving portion and a backing portion, wherein the backing portion further comprises a belt guide. The belt guide comprises a slot opening, a slot, and a belt channel that extends between a rear surface and a forward surface of the backing portion. A belt pathway extends from the rear surface to the opposite forward surface through the belt channel such that a seat belt extends through the belt channel from the rear surface to the opposite forward surface.

An infant transport system is provided, comprising: an infant car seat; and a chassis coupled to the infant car seat. The chassis comprises a frame; a pair of rear legs pivotally coupled to the frame; and a pair of front legs, where each front leg is pivotally coupled to a respective rear leg, and wherein the rear legs and the front legs are retracted and proximate the frame in a first transport condition, and wherein the rear legs and the front legs are deployable away from the frame to a second transport condition. In the first transport condition, the rear legs are releasably secured to the infant car seat and the front legs are releasably secured to the chassis.

A wagon may be configured to receive one or a pair of detachable chairs. Each chair may comprise a seat and a support that is moveable between a stored position and a deployed position, and at least one connector for removably attaching the chair to the wagon. One or more joint hubs may be used to rotatably connect the seat portion and the support together, and may also include a backrest that can rotate between several positions. The chair with the support in the deployed position may rest upon a flat surface such as the ground so that its seating surface is inclined relative to the flat surface. The chair may be sat upon while attached to the wagon with its backrest in a first position, and the backrest may be movable to a second position to reduce its profile when the wagon is in a collapsed state.

Aspects of the present disclosure include a child seat a carriage and base. The child seat allows for smooth adjustments between multiple recline positions, which are facilitated by arcuate portions of the carriage that slidably engage arcuate surfaces of the base. A user can select and secure the carriage at a particular recline position using locking bars that are recessed in the carriage and engaged by a locking element of the base of the child seat.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a car seat that is convertible to adapt to different growth stages of a child from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond. The car seat has a support base and a removable seat. The removable seat has a first configuration in a first in-use configuration of the car seat where the removable seat is used in combination with the support base. The removable seat has a second configuration in a second in-use configuration where the removable seat is used on its own. The removable seat comprises one or more locking members that releasably engage with the locking structure on the support base when the removable sea is in the first use configuration.

Aspects of the present disclosure include a child car seat that is convertible in order to adapt to the different growth stages of a child from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond. The car seat has a support base and a removable seat. In a first configuration, the removable seat is used in combination with the support base. In a second configuration, the removable seat is utilized alone, in the absence of the support base. The removable seat is converted from the first to the second use configuration by pivoting one or more supporting members secured to a bottom side of the removable seat between a storage position and a use position.

A system to transport infant children is provided. The system includes a base configured to be secured to a portion of an automobile; a chassis releasably coupled to the base; an infant car seat releasably coupled to the base and the chassis; a first two-function release mechanism in the base and the chassis and operable via a first handle on the chassis and a second two-function release mechanism in the infant car seat and the chassis and operable via a second handle on the infant car seat.

A system to transport infant children usable as an integrated unit or with a universal tower attachment system is provided that includes a base configured to be secured to a portion of an automobile; a chassis releasably coupled to the base; and a shell. The shell includes a frame configured to support an infant; a carrying handle movably coupled to the frame at a hub; a first latch operable to selectively, releasably couple the shell to the chassis; and a second latch adjacent the hub to selectively, releasably couple the shell to the tower attachment system. The shell may be selectively coupled to the chassis or to the tower attachment system.

A base for an infant transport system is provided. A base for an infant transport system, comprising: a frame configured to be secured to a portion of an automobile, comprising: a forward end; a rearward end; opposed side walls extending in a longitudinal direction from the forward end to the rearward end; an anti-rebound panel extending upwardly from the rearward end and having a top-line edge above the opposed side walls; and a level indicator coupled to the top-line edge.
