A player loyalty kiosk, system, method, and program product provide a loyalty game. A gaming interface of a loyalty game includes a matrix of symbol locations with a number of prize symbols, multiple expanding arrow symbols, and a moving highlight indicator. After a start input, a “stop” button is made active for stopping the moving highlight indicator. Responsive to a stop button input, the moving highlight indicator slows and then stops at a selected symbol on the matrix. If it stops on a prize symbol, a first type of game result provides an associated prize for the selected symbol. If it stops on an expanding arrow symbol, a second type of game result highlights an entire row or column of the matrix and provides prizes associated with each symbol location of the row or column.

A gaming machine, system, method, and program product for controlling such are provided. A group of gaming machines in a system is operated under control of at least one electronic processor to perform a method. The method includes receiving a player game activation input at a selected gaming machine and obtaining a game result in response. The method determines if the game result is to be awarded a designated jackpot prize, and if not, presents the game result on a display system of the selected gaming machine, and if so, sends a message to a group controller for the group of gaming machines. Under control of the group controller, a set of eligible gaming machines in the group of gaming machines presents an initial display sequence of a jackpot game presentation in unison. Then, the selected machine is identified and displays a final sequence of the jackpot game presentation.

A gaming machine is controlled with program code for, in response to a play input causing a display system to display a base result representation in a first area of the display system including a matrix of symbol locations with multiplier symbols, non-operative symbols and prize symbols. In response to an alignment of a multiple-location prize symbol along multiple alignment paths with a plurality of multiplier symbols on each alignment path, awarding a prize amount of a prize associated with the prize symbol times a combined multiplier value indicated by all the multiplier symbols so aligned.

An accent light system for a gaming machine includes an accent light arrangement having a number of LED panels assembled in one of a number of possible configurations. An electronic controller is coupled through a data communication interface to the accent light arrangement. The electronic controller is configured to transmit a signal to LED drivers of the number of LED panels, receive a loop-back signal transmitted from a final one of the LED panels, and, based on timing of the received loop-back signal, identify the configuration of the number of LED panels from the number of possible configurations.

A button, button deck, and method are disclosed for a gaming machine. A button deck includes multiple mechanical buttons presented along a front shelf of the gaming machine. Buttons include a push button mechanism and a transparent button cap. A one-way mirror film positioned beneath the inner surface of the transparent button cap. A light source is positioned beneath the transparent button cap. A graphical printed pattern is positioned with respect to the light source and the one-way mirror film such that when the light source is active the printed pattern is visible through the one-way mirror film, and when the light source is off the printed pattern is not visible and the transparent button cap has a mirror appearance. The light may be controlled depending on configuration data for the gaming machine, associated with an installed game.

A gaming machine cabinet with thermal management is disclosed. A lower compartment includes a processing assembly, an audio amplifier assembly, and a power supply assembly. A thermal plate defines at least part of a rear wall of the lower compartment and includes a heat conductive metal plate having an interior surface presented inside the lower compartment and an exterior surface presented at a rear side of the gaming machine cabinet. The thermal plate is directly thermally coupled to heat conductive outer surfaces of the processing assembly, the audio amplifier assembly, and the power supply assembly such that heat from these assemblies is thermally conducted through the thermal plate and radiated outside of the cabinet.

A gaming machine has a cabinet with improved thermal management. The cabinet has an outer wall forming a lower compartment and an upper compartment above the lower compartment. A processing assembly is positioned in the lower compartment and holds processing devices for controlling operation of the gaming machine. An audio amplifier assembly is also positioned n the lower compartment and holds a plurality of audio amplifiers. A power supply assembly in the lower compartment holding power conversion circuitry and DC voltage supply circuitry supplying the processing assembly and the audio amplifier assembly. An air duct is coupled to an air intake located at or above a top surface of the upper compartment, the air duct carrying cooling air to the lower compartment. A fan is positioned to pull external air into the air duct.

An auxiliary bezel assembly includes first-side and second-side attachment structures, an auxiliary bezel, and a first-side and second-side attachment feature. The auxiliary bezel defines an auxiliary bezel display area and is connected to the first-side attachment structure at a first side of the auxiliary bezel display area and to the second-side attachment structure at a second side of the auxiliary bezel display area. When the auxiliary bezel is placed in an operating position on a video display device the auxiliary bezel display area overlays a portion of the video display area with the first-side attachment structure extending along a first edge of the display device and the second-side attachment structure extending along a second edge of the display device. The first-side and second-side attachment features each comprise an arrangement by which the respective attachment structure is connectable to the video display device.

A gaming machine is controlled with program code for, in response to a play input causing a display system to display a base result representation in a first area of the display system including a matrix of symbol locations with a first line of symbols randomly selected from among multiplier symbols and non-operative symbols, a second line of symbols randomly selected from among multiplier symbols and non-operative symbols, and a third line of symbols randomly selected from among prize symbols and non-operative symbols. In response to an alignment of a multiple-location prize symbol along multiple alignment paths with a plurality of multiplier symbols on each alignment path, awarding a prize amount of a prize associated with the prize symbol times a combined multiplier value indicated by all the multiplier symbols so aligned.
