The present disclosure includes a downhole sensor array system, a method of making the downhole sensor array system, and method of downhole measurement collection. The downhole sensor array system includes a tube encapsulation cable (TEC) and a downhole sensor array disposed within the TEC. The downhole sensor array includes one or more temperature sensors, one or more pressure sensors, and one or more printed circuit boards (PCBs). The method of forming a downhole sensor array system includes splicing one or more temperature sensors, one or more pressure sensors, and one or more printed circuit boards (PCBs) into a raw cable to form a downhole sensor array, forming a protective layer around the downhole sensor array to form an encapsulated cable, and forming an outer jacket around the encapsulated cable to form a tube encapsulated cable (TEC). The TEC has an outer diameter of about 0.5 in to about 0.75 in.

An apparatus and method for contacting an open hole surface are provided. The apparatus includes an expandable portion surrounded by a contact portion configured to contact an open hole surface. The method includes expanding an expandable portion surrounded by a contact portion to create contact between the contact portion and an open hole surface.

A packer system includes a drag block section, a slip assembly comprising a plurality of slips, and a packer assembly. The packer assembly includes a mandrel comprising a lower ledge and a mandrel tapered surface, a lower tubular comprising an upper ledge, a plurality of packer elements disposed around the mandrel tapered surface, and a plurality of separators disposed between the plurality of packer elements. A method of deploying a packer assembly includes applying a force to a mandrel of the packer assembly to move the mandrel relative to a lower tubular, releasing the force from the mandrel. Applying the force to the mandrel includes sliding a mandrel tapered surface of the mandrel within a plurality of packer elements, applying a force to an inner diameter of the plurality of packer elements, and radially outwardly expanding the plurality of packer elements.

A well construction method in which a drilled bore is lined with a plurality of successively smaller diameter sections of bore-lining tubing including casing sections a liner section is provided. A liner is provided with an inner string extending to a distal end of the liner. The liner and the inner string are run into a distal section of a drilled bore. Settable material is pumped from surface through the inner string and through the distal end of the liner to partially fill an outer annulus surrounding the liner. Fluid displaced from the outer annulus and a portion of the settable material is permitted to flow from the outer annulus through a port in the liner and into an inner annulus between the inner string and the liner.

A separator for separating constituents of well fluid produced by a well is provided. The separator includes a vessel for receiving well fluid such that a first fluid constituent overlies a second fluid constituent within the vessel, a collection pipe having an opening for collecting a first fluid constituent from the vessel, and a positioner connected to the collection pipe for rotating the collection pipe about an axis to adjust a height of the opening within well fluid in the vessel. A method and system are also provided.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a cementing system. In one embodiment, cementing system includes a float shoe and a collar system. The collar system includes a baffle collar; an inner string, a plug stem, and a sealing plug. The sealing plug includes a lock ring cavity and a lock ring. The lock ring cavity includes an upper cavity tapered surface and a lower cavity tapered surface. The lock ring includes a tapered surface. The tapered surface includes an upper ring tapered surface and a lower ring tapered surface.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a packer assembly. The packer assembly includes a tubular body, a mandrel circumferentially surrounding the tubular body, a gauge ring, an anti-extrusion ring, a force ring, and a packer element. The anti-extrusion ring includes a first ring comprising a plurality of first ring segments, a second ring comprising a plurality of second ring segments, a spring disposed in a spring channel, and a plurality of retention bolts. Each first ring segment includes a first ring segment spring channel and a retention bolt connector. Each second ring segment includes a second ring segment spring channel and a retention bolt expansion channel formed through the second ring. The spring channel comprises the first ring segment spring channels and the second ring segment spring channels. The retention bolts are disposed in the retention bolt expansion channel and coupled to the retention bolt connector.

An apparatus for a pipe handling system includes a first bail, a second bail, and a pipe elevator coupled to the first bail and the second bail. The pipe elevator includes a main body, a door, and a latch-and-lock system. The latch-and-lock system includes a catch coupled to the main body, a lock handle coupled to the door, a locking latch coupled to the door, and a verification lock coupled to the door. The verification lock includes a verification lock body, a verification lock pin partially disposed within the verification lock body, a detection pin coupled to the verification lock pin, and a spring disposed within the verification lock body and surrounding the verification lock pin. The verification lock body includes an elongated portion and a body detection pin slot.

A downhole sealing apparatus for location in a downhole tubular includes a ball and a downhole seat. The ball may comprise a rigid core and a deformable covering. The ball is translatable downhole towards the seat, the ball and the seat having an open first configuration and a sealing second configuration. In the open first configuration the ball and seat are spaced apart such that fluid may flow through the seat. In the sealing second configuration the ball and the seat are in sealing engagement and the ball is deformed to maintain the sealing engagement with the seat in response to a differential pressure acting in a first axial direction and in response to a differential pressure acting in an opposite second axial direction.

A shroud system for a tubular string clamping device on a well platform is provided. The clamping device has a door pocket. The shroud system includes a cover frame and a cover door. The cover frame is configured to engage with the door pocket of the clamping device. The cover frame is also configured to define an access opening relative to the door pocket for access to an interior of the tubular string clamping device. The cover door is pivotally attached to the cover frame, and is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. The cover frame and the cover door are configured such that in the open position the access opening is uncovered thereby providing a passage through the door pocket and into the interior of the tubular string clamping device, and in the closed position access opening is covered by the cover door.
