The purpose of the present invention is to allow users to sooner understand a more accurate time required in order for charging to complete. This charging control device comprises: a processing unit that, during charging of a power storage device, corrects a calculated value of remaining charging time calculated at the start of charging of the power storage device, and, at the start of charging, acquires information indicating a correction timing at which the calculated value of the remaining charging time is corrected; and a reporting unit that reports the correction timing at the start of charging and reports the correction value of the calculated value of the remaining charging time during charging.

An alkaline storage battery of the present invention includes: an electrode group that includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator located between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, which are stacked on top of each other; an outer can that is bottomed cylindrical shape having an opening at the top; a sealing body that seals the outer can; and a positive terminal electrically connected to the sealing body. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode body and a positive electrode protrusion protruding from a portion of the positive electrode body toward the sealing body to connect electrically to the sealing body. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode body and a negative electrode protrusion protruding from a portion of the negative electrode body toward the sealing body and terminating between the sealing body and the negative electrode body. The positive electrode and the negative electrode have a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode active material, respectively, in portions facing each other with the separator therebetween.

A negative electrode for a zinc battery of the present invention includes a negative electrode mixture containing zinc oxide. In an X-ray diffraction pattern of the negative electrode mixture, the ratio (I 002 /I 101 ) of the peak intensity (I 002 ) of the (002) plane derived from the zinc oxide to the peak intensity (I 101 ) of the (101) plane derived from the zinc oxide is 0.4 or more.

The present application provides a solid-state battery that eliminates the need for additional components such as conductive resin layers, makes it possible to enhance cycle characteristics, and can also be applied to solid-state batteries in which oxide-based solid electrolytes are used. The present application also provides a method for producing the solid-state battery. The present invention is intended to solve the problems described above and relates to a solid-state battery including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer arranged between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, in which the ratio (negative electrode capacity/positive electrode capacity) of the charge storage capacity of the negative electrode layer to the charge storage capacity of the positive electrode layer is 0.74-0.96.

A charging method for supplementarily charging a plurality of secondary batteries accommodated in a casing on a regular basis includes the steps of: charging the plurality of secondary batteries at the same time at the time of initial supplementary charging; acquiring each of peak temperatures during charging of the plurality of secondary batteries; listing combination patterns when the plurality of secondary batteries are split into a plurality of charging groups; predicting, for each of the combination patterns, each of the peak temperatures in a case in which charging is performed for each of the charging groups, on the basis of the peak temperatures at the time of the initial supplementary charging; and split-charging the plurality of secondary batteries in the combination pattern that minimizes a variation in the predicted peak temperatures.

A battery pack is provided in which the battery pack itself can recognize a determination of a full charge, which is made by a charger, without using a communication line. A battery pack is provided with a secondary battery, current measurement means for measuring a charging current for charging the secondary battery, and a control circuit which receives an output signal from the current measurement means. The control circuit determines that the secondary battery is fully charged when a reduction rate of the charging current in a unit time exceeds a predetermined value.

This negative electrode for a zinc battery comprises a nonporous current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer which is held by the current collector and contains at least one of zinc, a zinc alloy, and a zinc-containing compound. The negative electrode has a current collector-exposed section in which the negative electrode mixture layer is not disposed, in a portion located at the outermost circumferential surface when wound.

A battery voltage equalization device for an automotive battery formed from a plurality of batteries connected in series includes: a voltage measurement unit that measures respective battery voltages of the batteries; a current measurement unit that measures a charge-discharge current of the automotive battery; a cell balancing unit that equalizes the respective battery voltages of the batteries; and a control unit that performs a voltage equalization control through the cell balancing unit on the basis of the battery voltages measured by the voltage measurement unit. The control unit starts the voltage equalization control on the condition that the voltage equalization control is determined to be necessary on the basis of the respective battery voltages and that a discharge current of the automotive battery measured by the current measurement unit is determined to be stable.
