Company patents

Feitian Technologies Co., Ltd.

Feitian Technologies Co., Ltd. demonstrates a strong, albeit shifting, focus on security, with Cryptographic Mechanisms representing 37.1% of its portfolio. While patenting in Computer Security saw significant growth of +500.0% in 2024 and +50.0% in 2025, the sharp decline across most categories so far in 2026, including a -100.0% drop in Cryptographic Mechanisms and Computer Hardware Architecture, suggests a potential re-evaluation or pause in patenting activity for these core areas, though data for 2026 is partial.

IC card with fingerprint recognition function and working method thereof

Filed:2019-05-28Pub:2022-03-01
Applicant:Feitian Technologies Co., Ltd.

A working method for an IC card having a fingerprint recognition function, comprising: an IC card receiving and determining an instruction type from a terminal, and when determined that the received instruction is an application selection instruction, the IC card selecting an application and returning a response to the terminal; when determined that the received instruction is a processing option acquisition instruction, the IC card acquiring a user fingerprint information verification state according to the content of the instruction, and if verification is successful, returning to the terminal a processing option instruction response containing an application file locator list for which a personal identification number does not need to be verified; if verification fails, returning to the terminal a processing option instruction response containing an application file locator list for which a personal identification number must be verified; when determined that the received instruction is a record reading instruction, the IC card returning a record reading response to the terminal according to the record reading instruction, wherein the record reading response contains a method for verifying a card holder. Thus, the risk of a personal identification number being leaked is avoided, thus enhancing the security of a transaction, while also improving user experience.

Method for querying information in visual smart card and visual smart card

Filed:2017-11-13Pub:2022-02-01
Applicant:Feitian Technologies Co., Ltd.

A method for querying information in a visual smart card, comprising: a micro control unit receiving, by means of an input device, a query request inputted by a user (S 1 ); the micro control unit determining information queried by a user request according to a received query request (S 2 ); if first information, the micro control unit reading a first information record which is stored thereby, and parsing the first information record to obtain the first information, the first information being displayed by means of a display device (S 3 ); if second information, the micro control unit sending an application selection instruction to a smart card chip, receiving an application selection response returned by the smart card chip, then sending an information record reading instruction to the smart card chip, receiving a second information record returned by the smart card chip, and parsing the second information record to obtain the second information, the second information being displayed by means of the display device (S 4 ). A visual smart card applicable to said method overcomes the shortcomings in the existing technology wherein the assistance of other devices is required, while carrying out querying by means of operating a smart card directly facilitates a holder of a smart card understanding information in the smart card, improving the ease of use of smart cards.
