An oral care device includes an oral insert, a pump, a fluid reservoir, and a controller. The controller provides a control signal having a duty cycle to the pump in response to an actuator being engaged. Response to the control signal, the pump causes fluid to be provided from the fluid reservoir to the oral insert according to the duty cycle.

An oral health device includes an oral insert and a fluid delivery system. The oral insert includes a plurality of manifolds for conveying fluids to nozzles in the oral insert. The fluid delivery system includes an interface that mates with the oral insert. The interface includes a gasket having variable stiffness. The gasket has a greater stiffness on a portion proximal to the fluid delivery system than a portion distal to the fluid delivery system.

An oral insert includes a plurality of fluid nozzles, a plurality of manifolds, and an attachment mechanism configured to be releasably attach with a handle. Each of the manifolds is associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of fluid nozzles. The attachment mechanism includes a manifold connector having a plurality of manifold openings arranged in a circle. Each of the plurality of manifold openings is associated with one of plurality of manifolds.

A handle for an oral health device is disclosed. The handle includes a stationary body, a hydraulic turbine coupled to the stationary body, a manifold selector disc coupled to the hydraulic turbine, and a manifold disc that includes a plurality of holes. The stationary body includes a plurality of vanes. The hydraulic turbine includes a plurality of blades. The manifold selector disc is configured to rotate when the hydraulic turbine rotates. The manifold selector disc includes a gateway. The manifold selector disc is configured to fully expose, as the hydraulic turbine rotates, a first hole of the plurality of holes or partially expose a first hole of the plurality of holes and a second hole of the plurality of holes.

An oral insert includes a plurality of fluid nozzles, a plurality of manifolds, and an attachment mechanism configured to be releasably attach with a handle. Each of the manifolds is associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of fluid nozzles. The attachment mechanism includes a manifold connector having a plurality of manifold openings arranged in a circle. Each of the plurality of manifold openings is associated with one of plurality of manifolds.

Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral care. A system for oral care comprises an oral insert. The oral insert is sized and shaped according to a user's oral cavity, and has a plurality of fluid nozzles and an effluence conduit to channel fluid out of the user's oral cavity. Pressurized fluid provided through the nozzles are directed to, for example, the interproximal spaces between the user's teeth. In some variations, a system comprises an oral insert and an elastomeric substrate that is attached to the oral insert. In some variations, the elastomeric substrate comprises a textured surface vibrates and/or mechanically agitates and/or translates along the surface of the user's teeth. In some variations, a system for oral care comprises a microbiome collection chamber. Some variations comprise dental shim devices that are used for acquiring oral structure data and alignment between the upper and lower arches.

An oral insert includes a plurality of manifolds and a plurality of fluid nozzles. A manifold switch is coupled to the plurality of manifolds. The manifold switch is configured to select which of the plurality manifolds is to receive fluid from a fluid source.

An oral insert includes a fluid inlet, a plurality of manifolds, and an embedded RFID chip. The fluid inlet is configured to engage a handle. The plurality of manifolds are coupled to the fluid inlet. Each of the manifolds includes a plurality of fluid openings. The RFID chip is configured to store patient-specific data.

A treatment plan associated with a user is received. An upper arch model of a user is obtained. A lower arch model of the user is obtained. An image associated with an oral anatomy of the user is obtained. The image, the upper arch model, and the lower arch model are analyzed to determine a relative alignment between an upper arch of the user and a lower arch of the user. An oral insert is generated, having a plurality of fluid nozzles and a plurality of fluid manifolds for the user based on the analysis of the image, the upper arch model, and the lower arch model.
