A client device operates by: reading, via the client device, an optical code associated with a player token; sending, via the client device and in response to reading the optical code, a request to download a player token NFT associated with the player token from an NFT distribution platform implemented as a decentralized computer system having a plurality of different nodes, the player token NFT stored on a blockchain via the plurality of different nodes of the decentralized computer system; receiving from the blockchain of the NFT distribution platform, via the client device, the player token NFT associated with the player token responsive to geographically distinct blockchain calculations performed contemporaneously over the plurality of different nodes of a decentralized computer system; and storing the player token NFT in a wallet associated with the user.

A client device operates by receiving a start game request for game corresponding to a game application having a player token NFT associated therewith; generating launch metadata; sending the launch metadata to a wallet associated with a user of the client device, the wallet containing a private key associated with the player token NFT; receiving, from the wallet, a launch response that is generated based on the private key; generating, based on the launch response, ownership check data; sending the ownership check data to a blockchain system that stores the player token NFT; receiving, from the blockchain system, an ownership validation response; enabling play of a game associated with the game application when the ownership validation response indicates ownership of the player token NFT is verified; and/or preventing the play of the game when the ownership validation response indicates the ownership of the player token NFT is not verified. Generating game data associated with the user's play of the game; and updating, via the blockchain system, the player token NFT based on the game data.

A client device operates by: providing a wallet associated with the user configured to store non-fungible tokens (NFTs); reading, via the camera, an optical code associated with a game token; sending, via the network interface and in response to reading the optical code, a request to download a game token NFT associated with the game token from an NFT distribution platform; receiving from the NFT distribution platform, via the network interface, the game token NFT associated with the game token; and storing the game token NFT in the wallet associated with the user.

An authentication system (AS) includes a radio frequency (RF) tag reader and operates by: assigning pairing data to be associated with an RF tag and a corresponding object to be authenticated wherein the pairing data includes a tag identifier, a private key, a public key, a first random number and a first AS hash based on the first random number; pairing the authentication system to the RF tag associated with the object; receiving a request to authenticate the object; when first tag hash matches first tag hash check data, generating first read event data that indicates authentication of the object; and facilitate updating, via a blockchain system and based on the first read event data, a non-fungible token (NFT) containing a registry of read events.

An NFT system operates by receiving an application launch request for a game application having a game non-fungible token (NFT) associated therewith; generating, via the game application and in response to the application launch request, launch metadata; sending the launch metadata to an NFT wallet, the NFT wallet containing a private key associated with the game NFT; receiving, from the NFT wallet, a launch response that is generated based on the private key; generating, via the game application and based on the launch response, an ownership check; sending the ownership check to a blockchain system that stores the game NFT; receiving, from the blockchain system, an ownership validation response; and enabling, via the game application, play of the game when the ownership validation response indicates ownership of the game NFT is verified.

An NFT system operates by receiving an application launch request for a game application having a game non-fungible token (NFT) associated therewith; generating, via the game application and in response to the application launch request, launch metadata; sending the launch metadata to an NFT wallet, the NFT wallet containing a private key associated with the game NFT; receiving, from the NFT wallet, a launch response that is generated based on the private key; generating, via the game application and based on the launch response, an ownership check; sending the ownership check to a blockchain system that stores the game NFT; receiving, from the blockchain system, an ownership validation response; and enabling, via the game application, play of the game when the ownership validation response indicates ownership of the game NFT is verified.

An NFT game platform operates by: generating display data associated with a customized collection display that contains the plurality of game NFT; sending the display data associated with a customized collection display to the client device for display via a graphical user interface associated with the client device; receiving a selection of one the plurality of game NFTs for play of the associated game, wherein the one of the plurality of game NFTs includes a playable instance of the associated game; facilitating play of the associated game via the client device when ownership of the game NFT is authenticated; and updating the game NET associated with the associated game based on the play of the associated game by the user.

A client operates by receiving a start game request for game corresponding to a game application having a player token NFT associated therewith corresponding to a game character of the user, generating launch metadata; sending the launch metadata to a wallet associated with a user of a client device, the wallet containing a private key associated with the player token NFT; receiving, from the wallet, a launch response that is generated based on the private key; generating, based on the launch response, ownership check data; sending the ownership check data to a blockchain system that stores the player token NFT; receiving, from the blockchain system, an ownership validation response; enabling play of a game associated with the game application when the ownership validation response indicates ownership of the player token NFT is verified; and/or preventing the play of the game when the ownership validation response indicates the ownership of the player token NFT is not verified.

A non-fungible token (NFT) platform operates by: receiving player data to be associated with a player token NFT corresponding to a player character in a multiplayer game; receiving player hierarchy data to be associated with the player token NFT, the player hierarchy data indicating a player hierarchy corresponding to a group of characters in the multiplayer game that includes the player character, the player hierarchy further indicating associations between the player character and other characters of the group of characters of the player hierarchy having differing levels compared to a level of the player character in the player hierarchy; facilitating creation of the player token NFT via a blockchain-based distributed computer network, based on the player data and the player hierarchy data; storing the player token NFT in a wallet associated with a user of a client device; and facilitating multiplayer game play of the multiplayer game based on the player token NFT.

A non-fungible token (NFT) platform operates by: receiving character attribute selection data to be associated with a game character that indicates a subset of a set of character attributes of a character attribute database; generating, based on the character attribute selection data, display data associated with the game character; generating game character data that includes the display data and performance data to be associated with actions of the game character in a game and a persona associated with the game character; facilitating generation of a player token NFT associated with the game character, wherein the player token NFT is stored on a blockchain via a decentralized computer system; facilitating play of the game utilizing the game character; 10 receiving update data associated with the game character responsive to the play of the game utilizing the game character; and updating the player token NFT based on the update data.
