A car seat and stroller combination system includes a pair of front legs and a pair of back legs. The front legs and the back legs are designed such that they fold in an accordion-style configuration. In the unfolded state, the front legs are toward a front side of the car seat and stroller combination system and the back legs are toward a back side of the car seat and stroller combination system. However, in the folded state, the front legs are toward the back side of the car seat and stroller combination system and the back legs are toward the front side of the car seat and stroller combination system. The car seat and stroller system includes a handle than can be rotated in multiple positions and telescoped in or out by actuating a same button.

A winch reel system is provided for use in child containment devices. The winch reel systems can include a one-way winch reel, a two-way winch reel, a multi-cord winch reel, and/or a drawstring winch reel. The winch reel systems can be included in various child containment devices, including strollers, infant rockers, children's car seats, playards, infant swings, baby carriers, bouncers, jumpers, high chairs, play mats, baby gates, children's booster seats, and/or other types of infant carrier or containment systems and devices. Each winch reel system can include one or more wires that are engaged with a winch reel in order to adjust at least one feature of a child containment device. In other embodiments, the one or more wires can be replaced with one or more lines, cables, or straps. In some embodiments, each winch reel system can include at least one toothed pawl to engage the winch reel.

An improved infant car seat (“ICS”) is provided. The ICS includes a base body and a turn table provided on the base body. The turn table is configured to receive a carrier of the ICS and rotate relative to the base body. Two different attachment points are provided to (1) lock the carrier into position on the base body to prevent rotation of the turn table and (2) to lock the carrier to the turn table as the turn table rotates relative to the base body. The ICS also includes grooves in the turn table. The grooves are sized and shaped to receive corresponding carrier rails provided on the bottom of the carrier such that the carrier can be slid onto and off of the turn table when the carrier is disengaged from both attachment points.

A wheeled childcare device is provided that can reliably reduce or eliminate the possibility of twisting of a wire. The wheeled childcare device includes legs, a caster mechanism, and a brake mechanism. The brake mechanism is configured to stop rotation of a pair of wheels, and includes a pair of lock members, an operating member, and a connecting member connecting the operating member with the lock members. The connecting member includes: an elongated member passing through a position different from a swivel axis of the caster mechanism; a pair of moving members connected to the elongated member and configured to move in response to an operation of the operating member; and a pair of driven members each configured to be rotatable relative to a corresponding one of the moving members, and each provided with a lock support portion that supports a shaft of a corresponding one of the lock members.

A wheeled childcare device is provided that can reliably reduce or eliminate the possibility of twisting of a wire. The wheeled childcare device includes legs, a caster mechanism, and a brake mechanism. The brake mechanism includes a pair of lock members, an operating member, and a connecting member connecting the operating member with the lock members. The connecting member includes a pair of moving members configured to move in response to an operation of the operating member, an elongated member connecting the operating member with the moving members, and a pair of driven members each configured to be rotatable relative to a corresponding one of the moving members, and each configured to follow movement of the corresponding moving member. Each of the lock members is configured to be displaceable between engaged and disengaged positions in conjunction with movement of the corresponding driven member.

A wheeled childcare device is provided that can reliably maintain a braking state. The wheeled childcare device includes: a body frame; a pair of arm members each having an upper end pivotally held at a lower end of a corresponding one of a pair of legs via a corresponding one of a pair of pivot shafts; a pair of wheels each rotatably supported at a lower end of a corresponding one of the arm members via a corresponding one of a pair of axles; and a brake mechanism configured to stop rotation of the wheels and including a pair of lock members, an operating member, and a connecting member connecting the operating member with the lock members. The brake mechanism is configured to perform a braking operation and maintain a braking state without being interfered with by a pivoting motion of the arm members.

A stroller handlebar actuator is provided. The handlebar actuator is provided at a handlebar of the stroller and includes cables that are attached to the handlebar actuator at one end and rear wheels of the stroller at another end. The handlebar actuator includes a protruding tab that a user to able to press using one or both thumbs without needing to remove their hands from the outer ends of the handlebar. By pressing the tab, a rotational force is exerted on the handlebar actuator, causing the handlebar actuator to rotate relative to the handlebar. This rotation causes the cables to pull inwards towards the handlebar actuator, thereby unlocking mechanisms provided at the rear wheels. The unlocking of the mechanisms causes the rear wheels to be able to freely rotate about a vertical axis. When the force is removed from the handlebar actuator, the handlebar actuator rotates back to its natural resting position and the cables return back to their original positions, locking the rear wheels.

An infant swing system may include a base structure, a vertical support coupled to the base structure, a frame that includes a wire portion coupled to the vertical support, and a seat removably coupled to the frame. A bouncer may be disposed in the vertical support. The bouncer is configured to cause the seat to bounce in a vertical direction to simulate a parent bouncing the child. A rotator may be disposed in the vertical support. The rotator is configured to cause the seat to move in a lateral direction to simulate a parent swaying the child. A tapper component may be coupled to the rear side of the seat. The tapper component may include a spring, a weighted head coupled to the spring, and a motor. The tapper component is configured to tap the rear side of the seat to simulate a parent tapping the child on the back.

A stroller includes: a body frame including a wheel; a handle frame; a first lock mechanism configured to switch one movable portion of the body frame between a locked state and an unlocked state; a second lock mechanism configured to switch another movable portion of the body frame between a locked state and an unlocked state; and an operation member provided in the handle frame and configured to selectively actuate one of the first and second lock mechanisms. The operation member is configured to be operated in a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction. The first lock mechanism is switched to a locked state or an unlocked state by operating the operation member in the first direction. The second lock mechanism is switched to a locked state or an unlocked state by operating the operation member in the second direction.

A stroller includes: a body frame including a wheel; a handle frame; a first lock mechanism configured to switch one movable portion of the body frame between a locked state and an unlocked state; a second lock mechanism configured to switch another movable portion of the body frame between a locked state and an unlocked state; and an operation member provided in the handle frame and configured to selectively activate one of the first and second lock mechanisms. The operation member is displaceable between a first position and a second position and is displaceable from a pre-operation position to a post-operation position. The first lock mechanism is switched to a locked state or an unlocked state by displacing the operation member in the first position. The second lock mechanism is switched to a locked state or an unlocked state by displacing the operation member in the second position.
