A process performed by a User Equipment (UE) for beam failure recovery (BFR) in a Secondary Cell (SCell) is provided. The UE receives a first Scheduling Request (SR) configuration indicating a first SR index associated with a first SR resource specifically used for a Beam Failure Recovery (BFR) procedure. In response to a first beam failure event occurring in the SCell, the UE triggers a first BFR procedure, which includes: transmitting a BFR report to the BS on an uplink (UL) resource if the UL resource is available to accommodate the BFR report, the BFR report comprising the information on the first beam failure event, and transmitting to the BS, a SR for requesting an UL resource for transmitting the BFR report on the first SR resource according to the first SR configuration if there is not an UL resource available to accommodate the BFR report.

A method, performed by a UE, includes receiving a current Sidelink (SL) Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) from a Base Station (BS) for scheduling SL resources for at least one Physical SL Shared Channel (PSSCH) transmission from the UE to at least one other UE. A SL Assignment Indicator (SAI) field, which indicates an accumulative number of a set of SL PDCCHs received from the BS up to the current SL PDCCH, is obtained from the current SL PDCCH. A Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) codebook based is constructed based at least in part on the SAI field and indexes of SL resources for PSSCH transmissions scheduled by the set of SL PDCCHs received from the BS. The HARQ codebook includes a plurality of HARQ-ACK bits indicating whether the corresponding PSSCH transmissions are successfully received by at least one other UE. The HARQ codebook is transmitted to the BS.

A method of panel-specific physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource selection in multi-panel transmission is disclosed. Capabilities of supporting a multi-transmit-receive point (TRP) operation for supporting simultaneous reception from multiple TRPs and a panel-specific default beam for at least one physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception are reported to a network. A plurality of control resource set (CORESET) groups is obtained from the network, each CORESET group being associated with a TRP and a UE panel. Information for PUCCH resource selection from the network is received via at least one of downlink control information (DCI) or a medium access control (MAC)-control element (CE). A PUCCH resource from the PUCCH resource group indicated in the information is determined based on the CORESET group of a scheduling physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or the information for PUCCH resource selection. A PUCCH is transmitted using the determined PUCCH resource.

A method for Scheduling Request (SR) resource prioritization for Beam Failure Recovery (BFR) includes a User Equipment (UE) receiving a first SR configuration from a Base Station (BS), receiving a second SR configuration from the BS, triggering a first SR procedure for a BFR procedure based on the first SR configuration, triggering a second SR procedure for a Buffer Status Report (BSR) procedure based on the second SR configuration, in a case that the first SR procedure and the second SR procedure are triggered and not cancelled and the first SR resource overlaps the second SR resource in the time domain, prioritizing the first SR resource over the second SR resource, and transmitting an SR on the first SR resource after prioritizing the first SR resource over the second SR resource.

A method, performed by a UE, includes receiving a first Sidelink (SL) Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) from a Base Station (BS), wherein the first SL PDCCH provides scheduling information for at least one SL transmission; obtaining a value of a SL Assignment Indicator (SAI) field from the first SL PDCCH, wherein the value of the SAI field indicates an accumulative number of a first received SL PDCCHs up to the first SL PDCCH; and constructing a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) codebook for a first quantity of SL transmission (s) scheduled by a second quantity of a second received SL PDCCHs; wherein the HARQ codebook is transmitted to the BS from the UE, the first quantity of the SL transmission (s) includes the at least one SL transmission, the second received SL PDCCHs include the first received SL PDCCHs, and the first received SL PDCCHs include the first SL PDCCH.

A method for LBT failure detection performed by a UE is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a MAC entity of the UE, an LBT failure indication from a lower layer for all UL transmissions; increasing an LBT failure counter when the MAC entity receives the LBT failure indication; determining an LBT failure event occurs when the LBT failure counter is greater than or equal to a threshold; and resetting the LBT failure counter after the MAC entity has not received the LBT failure indication for a time period.

A base station for wireless communication is provided. The base station transmits to a user equipment (UE) a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) configuration and the second RRC configuration. The first RRC configuration is for configuring a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and includes a first parameter indicating its relative priority for when the first SPS PDSCH overlaps with another SPS PDSCH in a time domain The second RRC configuration, which overlaps the first SPS PDSCH, is for configuring a second SPS PDSCH and includes a second parameter indicating its relative priority for when the second SPS PDSCH overlaps with another SPS PDSCH in the time domain.

A method of deriving a Quasi-CoLocation (QCL) assumption for a user equipment (UE) in multi-panel transmission is disclosed. The method comprises obtaining a plurality of control resource set (CORESET) groups from a network of the wireless communication system, determining a default QCL assumption for demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) port(s) of at least one physical downlink share channel (PDSCH), reception scheduled by a scheduling physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) according to a CORESET of one of the plurality of CORESET groups when a time offset between a reception of downlink control information (DCI), in the scheduling PDCCH and the at least one PDSCH reception is less than a threshold, wherein at least one of the plurality of CORESET groups includes at least one CORESET for indicating a QCL assumption, and applying the default QCL assumption for reception of the DM-RS port(s) of the at least one PDSCH.

A wireless communication device performs sidelink communications. A first Sidelink Control Information (SCI) associated with a first Physical Sidelink Shared Channel (PSSCH) and having a first priority value for the first PSSCH is received. The first PSSCH corresponds to a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) that carries Sidelink Feedback Control Information (SFCI), the first priority value being applicable to the PSFCH. A second SCI associated with a second PSSCH and having a second priority value for the second PSSCH is received. The device determines whether to transmit the PSFCH according to a comparison of the first priority value and the second priority value when an occasion of the PSFCH collides with an occasion of the second PSSCH. The PSFCH is transmitted in response to the first priority value being higher than the second priority value.

A method for a UE to monitor a PDCCH comprises receiving a first configuration from a base station to configure the UE with a first search space of the PDCCH, where the first search space is used for monitoring a scheduling signal used for indicating scheduling information, receiving a second configuration from the base station to configure the UE with a second search space of the PDCCH, wherein the second search space is used for monitoring a power saving signal used for indicating wake-up information associated with a DRX functionality, monitoring the first search space in response to the UE being in a DRX active time of the DRX functionality, wherein the DRX active time is a time during which the UE monitors the PDCCH, and not monitoring the second search space in response to the UE being in the DRX active time of the DRX functionality.
