An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a touch apparatus including: a touch panel including a plurality of first touch electrodes arranged in a first direction and a plurality of second touch electrodes arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction; a driver configured to apply a first driving signal to the first touch electrodes during a first period and a second driving signal to the second touch electrodes during a second period subsequent to the first period; a receiver configured to receive a detection signal from the second touch electrodes during the first period, and a detection signal from the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes during a third period subsequent to the second period; and a controller configured to determine a touch position based on the signal outputted from the receiver.

The present invention relates to a smart watch and, more specifically, to a smart watch that can have improved wheel touch sensitivity. A pen and touch input system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a touch input device including a sensor unit and a control unit that controls the sensor unit, and a stylus pen capable of operating with the touch input device.

A touch sensor includes a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, the first electrodes are arranged in a first direction, and the second electrodes are arranged in a second direction different from the first direction and include a second-a electrode pattern disposed directly adjacent to the first electrode and a second-b electrode pattern spaced a predetermined distance from the first electrode. A control unit matches a plurality of codes that are programmed by a built-in firmware with a plurality of addresses, respectively, and store the matched codes in a codebook table, receives the plurality of stored codes according to a scan mode to generate a driving signal and output the generated driving signal to the plurality of second electrodes, and receives a sensing signal output from the plurality of first electrodes to detect a touch position of an object disposed on the touch sensor.

In one embodiment, an electronic device includes a sensor unit and a controller. The sensor unit includes a plurality of first patterns, each being disposed to extend in a first direction. One end and the other end of each of the plurality of first patterns are electrically connected to the controller. The sensor unit further includes a plurality of second patterns, each being disposed to extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The present invention relates to a multifunctional touch input device capable of detecting a touch position, driving a stylus pen, and detecting a position of the stylus pen. In one embodiment, an electronic device includes a sensor unit and a control unit. The sensor unit includes a first pattern extended along a first direction, a second pattern adjacent to the first pattern and extended along the first direction, and a third pattern extended along a second direction. The first to third patterns are arranged in an array. The other ends of the plurality of second patterns are electrically connected to each other. In a touch sensing mode, the control unit applies a touch driving signal to the first pattern and applies a signal identical to the touch driving signal to the second pattern.

A pen and touch input system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a touch input device including a sensor unit and a control unit for controlling the sensor unit and a stylus pen interacting with the touch input device.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a touch device for sensing a position of a stylus including a resonance circuit, including: a plurality of electrode; and a touch controller configured to receive a sensing signal from the electrodes to determine a position of the stylus, wherein the electrodes includes electrodes in which directions of currents induced in the electrodes by the resonance circuit are opposite to each other.

A pen and touch input system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a touch input device including a sensor unit and a control unit for controlling the sensor unit and a stylus pen interacting with the touch input device.
