An information management system ( 1 ) includes an odor sensor ( 2 ) and an information processor ( 3 ). The odor sensor ( 2 ) senses an odor emitted from a source (T). The information processor ( 3 ) includes a preference information inputter ( 11 ) and a user information acquirer ( 12 ). The user information acquirer ( 12 ) acquires user information indicating the attribute of a user. The preference information inputter ( 11 ) inputs preference information indicating the preference of the user for the odor sensed by the odor sensor ( 2 ). A storage ( 20 ) associates odor information indicating the kind of the odor sensed by the odor sensor ( 2 ), the user information acquired by the user information acquirer ( 12 ), and the preference information input into the preference information inputter ( 11 ) with each other, and stores the odor information, the user information, and the preference information.

A coaxial connector device includes: a signal contact member; a signal contact member; a ground contact member to which a ground potential is applied; and a conductive member including a rear ground connection portion that is connected to the ground contact member, and a front ground connection portion that is connected to a ground contact portion of a mating connector device. When viewed in a direction of fitting to the mating connector device, the front ground connection portion overlaps at least a part of a signal line including a center conductor of a coaxial cable and the signal contact member, and at least a part of a signal line including a center conductor of a coaxial cable and the signal contact member.

A connector ( 10 ) includes a set of type 1 contacts ( 4 A) disposed in a type 1 holding area, the type 1 contacts ( 4 A) being disposed facing each other, and a type 2 contact ( 4 B) disposed in each of two type 2 holding areas sandwiching the type 1 holding area. When viewed from above, at least a portion of the type 2 contact ( 4 B) is disposed in a range obtained by extending, in a first direction in which the type 1 holding area and the two type 2 holding areas are arranged, a region in which the set of type 1 contacts ( 4 A) oppose each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. Additionally, the type 2 contact ( 4 B) includes a connecting portion that is connected to the circuit of the circuit board, and a contacting portion that is disposed at a position separated, from the connecting portion in a normal direction of an installation surface to the circuit board, and that contacts a terminal of a mating connector.

An electrical connector pair 1 includes a receptacle connector 1 a and a plug connector 1 b. The receptacle connector 1 a includes a first partition wall 12 a, and the plug connector 1 b includes a second partition wall 12 b. When the receptacle connector 1 a and the plug connector 1 b are fitted together, the first partition wall 12 a partitions a portion of the boundary between a third holder and a fourth holder where the second partition wall 12 b is not formed such that a first contact 10 a and a third contact 10 b cannot be seen from a second contact and a fourth contact.

Electromagnetic shielding about both of electric connectors, which ae in a mutually mated state, can be sufficiently carried out by a simple configuration. Shield wall portions composed of electrically-conductive members opposed to contact connecting portions (board connecting portions) of a plurality of contact members arranged in multipolar shapes are provided; electromagnetic shielding functions with respect to the contact connecting portions in the respective electric connectors are obtained well by the respective shield wall portions; and, when both of the electric connectors are mated with each other, the shield wall portions are configured to be in an inner/outer double disposition relation in which they are opposed to each other and efficiently block the gaps between the shield wall portions and wiring boards so that sufficient EMI measures can be expected.

A method of manufacturing an electrical connector includes: contacting an end portion of a center conductor exposed in an end portion of a coaxial cable having the center conductor with a conductive contact; applying ultrasonic vibration to the end portion of the center conductor and the contact to join the end portion of the center conductor and the contact each other; and accommodating the contact in an insulation housing after the end portion of the center conductor and the contact are joined to each other, and covering at least a part of a joint of the end portion of the center conductor and the contact with the insulation housing.

Electromagnetic shielding about both of electric connectors, which are in a mutually mated state, can be sufficiently carried out by a simple configuration. Shield wall portions composed of electrically-conductive members opposed to contact connecting portions (board connecting portions) of a plurality of contact members arranged in multipolar shapes are provided; electromagnetic shielding functions with respect to the contact connecting portions in the respective electric connectors are obtained well by the respective shield wall portions; and, when both of the electric connectors are mated with each other, the shield wall portions are configured to be in an inner/outer double disposition relation in which they are opposed to each other and efficiently block the gaps between the shield wall portions and wiring boards so that sufficient EMI measures can be expected.

A connector includes: a circuit board; a first heat transfer material arranged on a principal surface of the circuit board; a first shell having an end mated with a mating connector in a state in which the terminal end portion of the circuit board protrudes from the end, and includes an opposite opposed to at least a part of a target region which is a region other than the terminal end portion, covers at least a part of the target region, and is conductive; a second shell connected to an end of the first shell, covers at least a part of the target region of the principal surface, and is thermally conductably connected to the circuit board in contact with the first heat transfer material; and a third shell engaged with the second shell, covers at least a part of the target region of a principal surface, and is conductive.

A connector device comprising a first connector and a second connector. The first connector comprises: a plurality of conductive first contacts; an insulating first contact holding portion holding the plurality of first contacts; a conductive partition wall partitioning the first contact holding portion into a first grouping area that holds two or more first contacts and a first individual area that holds one first contact; and a conductive first surrounding wall disposed around an outer periphery of the first individual area so that the first surrounding wall and the partition wall at least partially surround the first individual area. The second connector comprises: a plurality of conductive second contacts; and a conductive second surrounding wall. When the first connector and the second connector are fitted to each other, the second surrounding wall is disposed inside or outside the first surrounding wall around the outer periphery of the first individual area.

A terminal includes a body and an elastic contact plate. The body includes a cylindrical shape into which a mating terminal is inserted, and includes, in an inner wall, a contact region that comes into contact with the mating terminal. The elastic contact plate presses the mating terminal against the contact region. A plurality of grooves that extends in a second direction intersecting a first direction in which the mating terminal is inserted is formed in the contact region.
