A method of performing a neurovascular procedure includes the steps of providing an access assembly comprising a guidewire, access catheter and guide catheter; coupling the access assembly to a robotic drive system; and driving the access assembly to achieve supra-aortic vessel access. The guide wire and the access catheter are decoupled from the access assembly. A procedure assembly includes at least a guidewire and a procedure catheter. The procedure assembly is coupled to the robotic drive system; and used to perform a neurovascular procedure.

An insert catheter having an elongate flexible body. The elongate flexible body has a proximal end, a distal end, a length of at least about 160 cm, a lumen extending from the proximal end to the distal end, and a side port in fluid communication with the lumen. The side port is positioned between about 30 cm to about 105 cm from the distal end of the elongate flexible body. A guidewire can extend through the lumen and the side port. The side port is configured to be positioned within a second interventional device during a neurovascular procedure. The insert catheter can have a pre-shaped tip on a distal portion of the elongate flexible body. The insert catheter can have a rail extending from the side port to the proximal end of the elongate flexible body. The rial can be configured to receive the guidewire.

A neurovascular catheter for delivery through an aorta and into an ostium can include a tubular body between a proximal end to a distal end. The tubular body can have a length of 140 cm to 180 cm, a 5 Fr size, and an internal diameter of about 0.065″ to about 0.067″. The tubular body can include a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion can include a polymer layer and a layer of braids. The proximal portion can include a hypotube and the layer of braids.

A system for robotically controlling interventional devices can detect catheter prolapse. The system can estimate a catheter position based at least in part on the imaging of a patient. The system can compare changes in the image-based catheter position to data provided by a catheter drive system. Based on this comparison, the system can determine whether catheter prolapse has occurred or the degree to which catheter prolapse has occurred. Methods of detecting and predicting catheter prolapse are also disclosed.

A hub assembly for a robotically driven interventional device can include an interventional device hub having an interventional device and at least one magnet. The hub assembly can be configured to be positioned on a sterile side of a sterile field barrier and magnetically couple to a hub adapter on a non-sterile side of the sterile field barrier so that hub assembly moves axially in response to axial movement of the hub adapter and the at least one magnet of the hub assembly rotates in response to rotation of at least one magnet of the hub adapter.

A neurovascular catheter may include an elongate flexible body having a length of at least about 130 cm. The catheter can include a distal portion including a pre-shaped tip and having a length between about 2 cm to 9 cm, a transitional portion proximal to the distal portion that is less flexible than the distal portion, wherein the transitional portion has a length of between about 14 cm and about 16 cm; and a proximal portion proximal to the transitional portion that is less flexible than the transitional portion. The proximal portion has a length between about 110 cm and about 115 cm. A flexibility profile of the elongate flexible body is measurable with a cantilever beam test to determine a stiffness measures in peak load value/distance.

A robotic drive system includes a main body and a telescoping member extendable from the main body. The telescoping member is configured to support an interventional device. The robotic drive system may include a drive system positioned within the main body. The drive system can include a drive screw, and one or more hub adapters operatively coupled to the drive screw and configured to translate along the length of the main body.

A robotic interventional device control system includes a first hub assembly coupled to a first interventional device and including a first proximal end and a first distal end; and a second hub assembly coupled to a second interventional device and positioned distal to the first hub assembly. The second hub assembly includes a second proximal end and a second distal end. The system includes a sensor system configured to detect a first position of the first hub assembly and a second position of the second hub assembly; and one or more hardware processors configured to generate a user interface. The user interface includes a drive table window including a first representation of the first hub assembly and a second representation of the second hub assembly.

Disclosed are implants, devices and systems capable of being deployed within the neurovasculature of a subject. The implants are configured for enhanced conformability to a vessel wall, resheathability, delivery from a delivery device, and have thromboresistant design features and coatings. The devices for implant deployment are configured for precise placement of an implant, resheathing of a partially deployed implant, and reliable detachment of an implant without distorting the positioning of the implant.

A fluidics system includes a cassette having a saline subsystem, a contrast subsystem, and a vacuum subsystem. The fluidics system further includes a splitter and a first tubing set coupled to the cassette and splitter, the first tubing set having a single saline channel, a single contrast channel, and a single vacuum channel. The fluidics system further includes two or more hub assemblies, at least one of the two or more hub assemblies configured to have a third saline flow-path, a third contrast flow-path, and a third vacuum flow-path to provide saline, contrast and vacuum to the lumen of a catheter coupled to the at least one of the two or more hub assemblies. The fluidics system further includes a second tubing set having a plurality of tube groups, each tube group coupled to the splitter and to one of the two or more hub assemblies.
