The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for live gaming and video stream switching. Various embodiments may receive a wagering selection to initiate a first wager amount on a first round of a blackjack gaming event. A graphical user interface may provide a virtual play area and a plurality of side bet icons associated with the blackjack gaming event. A decision cycle time may be set for a duration of the gaming event. The decision cycle time defines a time window for making a gaming decision during a round of the blackjack gaming event. In some examples, a second decision cycle time may be set to define a time window for making bets between rounds of the blackjack gaming event.

A shutter system for a dice system that includes a motorized platform and a cylinder positioned over the platform for containing dice. The motorized platform is configured to be moved independent of the cylinder to throw the dice as part of a dice game. The shutter system comprises a telescopic cylindrical shutter positioned within the cylinder, having an upper portion having a first exterior diameter and a lower portion having a second exterior diameter, the second exterior diameter being larger than the first exterior diameter such that the upper portion will fit within the lower portion. Flexible supports are connected at a first end to the lower portion. A drive motor connected to a second end of the flexible supports opposite the first end is configured to wind up and wind down the flexible supports to raise and lower the shutter system.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for a live electronic table game (ETG) pit that comprises a plurality of live ETGs arranged on a casino floor in a pit having an interior area and a perimeter, each live ETG having a physical game component involving one or more of a physical card, a physical ball, and a physical die, wherein at least part of each game played on each live ETG involves the physical game component, a community display, and at least one dealer console for enabling a dealer to manage various aspects of each game; and one or more player consoles physically arranged around each of the plurality of live ETGs, each of the player consoles physically arranged around a live ETG having a graphical user interface for enabling a player to enter bets associated with each game to be played on the live ETG and to resolve the bets based on a result of each game.

A method for using a roulette mechanism where a ball is launched onto a rim having a central opening and a face around which balls travel until falling pockets distributed around a central cone. The pockets are configured hold the balls. The pockets correspond to unique identifiers on the roulette wheel. The cone includes an edge, sub-pockets under the edge and a motor. The edge stops a ball in a pocket. The motor raises and lowers the edge so that ball move from a pocket to the sub-pocket. When a ball falls into a pocket the ball is moved to a sub-pocket. The outcome for the ball is indicated based on the pocket and then more balls are launched while the ball is in the sub-pocket.

In one aspect, an improved craps system may comprise at least one camera and a dealer station having at least one dealer station memory, at least one dealer station display device, and at least one dealer station processor in communication with the at least one camera. The at least one dealer station processor may be configured to receive the information from the camera regarding the throw of dice and determine, based upon the information, whether the throw complies with one or more requirements for a proper throw of dice.

The method comprising vertically driving a movable platform for each of N separate dice systems to vertically throw at least one dice in an enclosed space for each corresponding dice system among the N dice systems. When the at least one dice has settled within the enclosed space, detecting upward facing pips on each of the settled dice to indicate a dice result for each corresponding dice system. The method further comprising receiving a selection of X dice systems among the N dice systems, visually indicating the selection of the X dice systems, and raising a mechanical shutter for each of the X dice systems to reveal the dice result for each corresponding dice system among the X dice systems.

A card randomization system comprises a drum with a plurality of slots to store cards. Each slot holds one type of card and comprises a locking arm to restrain the card in the slot. A randomization process determines a card to be extracted from the drum. The drum aligns a slot associated with the card with an extraction mechanism. The extraction mechanism comprises a first belt on a first side of the card and at least one of a second belt or a plurality of rollers on a second side of the card. A locking arm actuator unlocks the locking arm and the extraction mechanism extends at least partially into the slot to extract the card. A camera takes an image of the card to determine an identity of the card, and the card is transported to an output system, based on the determined identity of the card.

Multi-Ball roulette gaming systems and apparatuses are disclosed. A gaming apparatus may include an automated roulette wheel, a ball launcher configured to launch a plurality of roulette balls onto the automated roulette wheel at a specified time during a roulette gaming event, a standalone cabinet, a plurality of player stations positioned around the standalone cabinet, and a controller operating the roulette wheel, the ball launcher, and a roulette gaming event, based on communications with the plurality of player stations. The standalone cabinet may include a top surface supporting the automated roulette wheel and a hollow interior portion housing the ball launcher. The play stations may each include a display providing an interactive graphical user interface.
