The present disclosure relates to compounds of Formula (I) as useful materials for OLED's. X 1 , X 2 and X 3 are N or C(R 5 ); Ar 1 and Ar 2 are aryl, heteroaryl or cyano; L 1 is single bond, arylene or heteroarylene; and R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are diarylamino, carbazolyl, heteroaryl, H or alkyl

The compound represented by the following formula is useful as a light-emitting material. R 1 or R 2 is Het-L A -* or CN-L A -*; one to three of R 1 to R 5 are diarylamino groups; the rest are a hydrogen atom or an aryl group; Het is a heteroaryl group; and L A is a single bond or an arylene group.

Using a compound represented by a general formula (A)m-L-(D)n, a light-emitting device having a high emission efficiency can be provided. L is an (m+n)-valent aromatic linking group; A is a group having a positive Hammett's σ p value; D is a group having a negative Hammett's σ p value; m is an integer of 1 or more; n is an integer of 2 or more. Two of plural D's differ in point of the substituent condition at specific aromatic rings.

An organic light emitting device using a compound of the following general formula has excellent characteristics. R 1 to R 5 each are H, D, a cyano group, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a donor group, one or more are cyano groups, one or more are donor groups; X 1 to X 3 each are N or C(R); R is H, D or a substituent; one or more of Ar 1 and Ar 2 each are a heteroaryl group bonding via N; L 1 is a single bond or a linked group.

The present disclosure relates to compounds capable of emitting delayed fluorescence, and uses of the compounds in organic light-emitting diodes.

A compound represented by the following general formula is an excellent light-emitting material. R 1 to R 5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and one of R 1 to R 5 is a cyano group, one to three of R 1 to R 5 each are an aryl group Ar optionally substituted with an alkyl group or an aryl group, and one to three of R 1 to R 5 each are a donor group D (but excepting one that corresponds to Ar).

The compound represented by the following general formula is useful for a light emitting device. Ar 1 represents a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring, a phenanthrene ring, etc.; D represents 5H-benzofuro[3,2- c ]carbazol-5- yl group, etc.; A represents a cyano group, a phenyl group, a pyrimidyl group, a triazyl group, etc.; m is 1 to 3; n is 0 to 2; R 1 to R 4 each represent H, an aryl group, a cyano group, etc.
