There is provided a method ( 200 ) of producing a system for predicting a fix action for a malfunctioning system. The method comprises: providing ground truth data ( 210 ) comprising a plurality of sets of symptoms and solutions, each set corresponding to a respective historical fix event and each set comprising one or more symptoms of a respective system prior to the fix event and one or more solutions performed on the respective system during the fix event. The method further comprises: embedding the solutions of the ground truth data using a symmetric embeddings model ( 230 ) based on semantic meaning and grouping the embedded solutions into a predetermined set of solution groups using the embeddings. The method further comprises: training an asymmetric embeddings model ( 250 ) using the symptoms and their corresponding solution groups, the trained asymmetric embeddings model being configured to receive a query comprising symptoms of the malfunctioning system and output one or more of the predetermined solution groups as a predicted fix action for the malfunctioning system. There is further provided a method ( 300 ) of predicting a fix action for a malfunctioning system. There is further provided a method of fixing a malfunctioning system.

A toner rake assembly for an image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a spine movable in a reciprocating manner along a length of the spine, a plurality of first projections from the spine that are movable with the spine, and a plurality of second projections from a fixed surface adjacent to the spine. The plurality of first projections are movable relative to the plurality of second projections when the spine moves in the reciprocating manner. The plurality of second projections are positioned above the plurality of first projections such that heaps of toner that form above the plurality of first projections are pushed against one or more of the plurality of second projections when the spine moves in the reciprocating manner.

A method for determining authenticity of a supply item for an imaging system, the method comprising: performing a cryptographic algorithm on the imaging system, starting with a first algorithm input, performing the cryptographic algorithm on the supply item, starting with the first algorithm input, determining authenticity of the supply item based on an imaging system run time and a supply item run time, wherein the imaging system run time is a run time of the cryptographic algorithm on the imaging system from input of the first algorithm input until a result output is generated, and the supply item run time is a run time of the cryptographic algorithm on the supply item from input of the first algorithm input until the result output is generated.

A hair dryer according to one example embodiment includes an air flow conduit having an entrance and an exit. The hair dryer includes an air mover configured to induce air flow through the air flow conduit to the exit of the air flow conduit. The hair dryer includes a heater comprising a ceramic substrate and an electrically resistive trace on the ceramic substrate. The heater is positioned to supply heat generated by applying an electric current to the electrically resistive trace to air in the air flow conduit.

A toner container for use with a developer unit of an image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a body having a front that leads during insertion of the toner container into the image forming device and a rear that trails during insertion of the toner container into the image forming device. An outlet port is positioned on a bottom of the body and adjacent to the front of the body for exiting toner from the toner container. An engagement surface is positioned at the bottom of the body and adjacent to the front of the body for contacting and pushing open a developer shutter of an inlet port of the developer unit in a direction of insertion of the toner container into the image forming device during insertion of the toner container into the image forming device.

A toner container for use in an image forming device includes a housing having a reservoir for storing toner, a paddle positioned within the reservoir, and a rotatable drive member positioned to push the paddle in a first rotational direction. The paddle is free to rotate ahead of the drive member in the first rotational direction. A magnet is rotatably coupled to one of the paddle and the drive member. A shield is rotatably coupled to the other of the paddle and the drive member such that the shield is movable between a blocking position for attenuating a magnetic field of the magnet to block detection of the magnetic field by a magnetic sensor and an unblocking position for unblocking the magnetic field of the magnet to permit detection of the magnetic field by the magnetic sensor based on a rotational position of the paddle relative to the drive member.

Described is a sensor that is used to determine the location of an object with additional features that create human-recognizable feedback that identifies an individual object, solving the problem of needing a specialized device to perform the identity step. The location data is sent to Edge or Cloud devices that contain the raw location data. This data has location information that is used to automatically update an Enterprise Manufacturing System (EMS) or other system critical location. This invention integrates multiple location technologies to overcome the limitations of a single method. In addition to updating business systems (EMS), the cloud devices display location data in a multimodal (maps & digital twin) system, allowing operators to visualize and track the movement and location of objects. The combination of coordinated 2D mapping and 3D digital twin representations creates a superior understanding of an object's location and orientation with respect to other objects in its vicinity leading to exact identities within the workflow.
