Described herein are techniques for receiving, from a device, at least one of image data or depth sensor data about one or more physical objects located in a physical space. The techniques further include determining whether an event occurred to the physical space where the one or more physical objects were located. The techniques further include identifying whether any of the one or more physical object were impacted by the event by comparing at least the image data or the depth sensor data to a catalog of objects storing object data about the one or more physical objects. The techniques further include assessing an impact of the event based at least in part on the one or more physical objects that are identified as having been impacted by the event. The techniques further include causing an output indicating the impact of the event.

Described herein are techniques for receiving, from a first device, first data about a physical object located in a physical space. The techniques further including storing, in a catalog of objects generated for the physical space, information about the physical object and indicating at least a first location of the physical object in the physical space. The techniques include receiving, from a second device, second data about the physical space, the second data sent from the second device upon or after an occurrence of an event. The techniques include determining, based on the second data, at least an impact area of the event to the physical space and determining, based on the catalog of objects and the second data, whether the physical object is impacted by the event. The techniques include causing an output indicating whether the physical object is impacted by the event.

Described herein are a system and methods for generating a record of objects, as well as respective positions for those objects, with respect to a user. In some embodiments, a user may use a user device to scan an area that includes one or more objects. The one or more objects may be identified from image information obtained from the user device. Positional information for each of the one or more objects may be determined from depth information obtained from a depth sensor installed upon the user device. In some embodiments, the one or more objects may be mapped to object models stored in an object model database. The image information displayed on the user device may be augmented so that it depicts the object models associated with the one or more objects instead of the actual objects.

Described herein are techniques for receiving, from a first device, first data about a physical object located in a physical space. The techniques further including storing, in a catalog of objects generated for the physical space, information about the physical object and indicating at least a first location of the physical object in the physical space. The techniques include receiving, from a second device, second data about the physical space, the second data sent from the second device upon or after an occurrence of an event. The techniques include determining, based on the second data, at least an impact area of the event to the physical space and determining, based on the catalog of objects and the second data, whether the physical object is impacted by the event. The techniques include causing an output indicating whether the physical object is impacted by the event.

A modeling system receives, via a user interface of a device, a selection of a three-dimensional shape that includes a plurality of faces. The modeling system generates a virtual object by: receiving an image showing a portion of a real-world object, determining an area of the image that corresponds to the portion of the real-world object, associating, in the virtual object, the area of the image with a face of the plurality of faces of the three-dimensional shape, and associating, in the virtual object or in metadata of the virtual object, properties of the three-dimensional shape with the virtual object. The virtual modeling system presents the virtual object in the user interface by at least showing the area of the image superimposed on the face and showing the properties.
