A vehicular camera assembly includes a lens barrel accommodating a lens and a camera housing. An imager printed circuit board (imager PCB) includes an imager at a first side. The imager PCB is disposed at the camera housing with the imager facing the lens. An adhesive is disposed between and engages the first side of the imager PCB and the housing. During assembly of the camera, a nozzle dispenses the adhesive onto an attaching portion of the imager PCB and the housing is moved into engagement with the adhesive. As the nozzle dispenses the adhesive, the attaching portion is electrically charged and the nozzle is electrically charged to electrically charge the adhesive. Either the attaching portion is negatively charged and the adhesive is positively charged or the attaching portion is positively charged and the adhesive is negatively charged.

A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular vision system and viewing exterior of the vehicle, the camera capturing image data. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) with electronic circuitry and associated software. The electronic circuitry of the ECU includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the camera to detect presence of objects within a field of view of the camera. The vehicular vision system, at least in part via processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, detects edges of an object. The vehicular vision system, based at least in part on the detected edges of the object extracts lines representative of the detected edges and performs slope-based validation of the extracted lines. The vehicular vision system determines corners of the object by determining intersections of the validated extracted lines.

A vehicular radar sensing system includes a radar sensor disposed at a vehicle. The radar sensor transmits and receives radio signals. The vehicular radar sensing system, via processing of radar data captured by the radar sensor, detects a plurality of objects present within a field of sensing of the radar sensor. The system determines a plurality of phase delays in the radar data. Phase delays of the plurality of phase delays are associated with respective received radio signals reflected off respective detected objects of the plurality of detected objects. The vehicular radar sensing system determines a common phase delay of the plurality of phase delays that is common among the received radio signals reflected off detected objects. The system, responsive to determining that an amount of performance degradation of the radar sensor based on the blockage is greater than a threshold amount, adjusts a driving assistance system of the vehicle.

A vehicular control system includes a vehicle dynamics sensor disposed at a vehicle and capturing vehicle dynamics data representative of a state of motion of the vehicle. The vehicular control system, when the vehicle is at a first location on a road the vehicle is traveling along, determines the state of motion of the vehicle via processing of vehicle dynamics data captured by the vehicle dynamics sensor. The vehicular control system, after the vehicle has traveled along the road from the first location to a second location, predicts a second location of the vehicle based on the state of motion of the vehicle at the first location. The vehicular control system determines a sensitivity of the state of motion of the vehicle to change and corrects the predicted second location of the vehicle based at least in part on a global positioning system of the vehicle.

A vehicular electronic control unit (ECU) includes a housing and a printed circuit board (PCB) accommodated within the housing. Electronic circuitry of the PCB includes an electronic component. When the electronic component is electrically operated, heat generated within the housing is dissipated to a heat dissipating surface that is disposed within a fluid chamber at an exterior side of the housing. Coolant flows within the fluid chamber and heat generated within the housing is dissipated from the heat dissipating surface to the coolant. A nozzle is disposed within the fluid chamber between an inlet port and an outlet port and directs the flow of coolant from the inlet port toward the heat dissipating surface. The coolant flows at a first velocity upstream of the nozzle and flows at a second velocity downstream of the nozzle that is greater than the first velocity.

A vehicular radar sensing system includes a radar sensor disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular radar sensing system. The radar sensor includes a configurable delay element operable to delay a signal by a configurable amount. The configurable delay element adds a delay to a reference signal, and the delay is based on correlated noise including phase noise present in both the reference signal and the received radio signals. The vehicular radar sensing system mixes the delayed reference signal with radio signals received by a plurality of receivers of the radar sensor. The vehicular radar sensing system, via processing at a data processor of received radio signals mixed with the delayed reference signal, detects presence of an object.

A vehicular cabin monitoring system includes a vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly configured for mounting at an interior portion of a vehicle and having a mirror head accommodating a mirror reflective element, a driver monitoring megapixel camera, and a near infrared light illuminator. With the vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly mounted at the interior portion of the vehicle, and when the near infrared light illuminator is electrically operated, at least the head of the driver and a front passenger region are illuminated with near infrared light and the camera views at least the head of the driver and the front passenger seat region. At least one near infrared light emitter of the near infrared light illuminator is pulsed at a first pulse rate and at least one near infrared light emitter of the near infrared light illuminator is pulsed at a second pulse rate less than the first pulse rate.

A vehicular integrated ADAS/infotainment module includes first electronic circuitry disposed at a printed circuit board and second electronic circuitry disposed at the printed circuit board. With the vehicular integrated ADAS/infotainment module disposed at a vehicle, the first electronic circuitry at least partially controls an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) of the vehicle and the second electronic circuitry at least partially controls an infotainment system of the vehicle. A firewall restricts communication from the first electronic circuitry to the second electronic circuitry and the firewall restricts communication from the second electronic circuitry to the first electronic circuitry. A housing at least partially encapsulates the printed circuit board, and the housing is liquid cooled to transfer heat generated by the first electronic circuitry and the second electronic circuitry away from the printed circuit board.

A vehicular driving assist system includes a plurality of microphones disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driving assist system. The vehicular driving assist system, via processing at an ECU of captured audio data, determines presence of a plurality of emergency vehicles. The vehicular driving assist system, for each determined emergency vehicle of the plurality of emergency vehicles, determines (i) a position of the determined emergency vehicle and (ii) a direction of travel of the determined emergency vehicle. The vehicular driving assist system generates an alert to a driver of the equipped vehicle, and the alert indicates the position of each determined emergency vehicle and the direction of travel of each determined emergency vehicle.

A vehicular trailering assist system includes a camera at a vehicle operable to capture image data of a trailer hitched to the vehicle. The system, during a driving maneuver, and via processing frames of image data, determines locations in the frames of a target at the trailer. The system determines real-world coordinates of the target that correspond to the determined locations in the frames of image data. The system determines a first intersection line between the real-world coordinates corresponding to first and second frames and a first line perpendicular to the first intersection line. The system determines a second intersection line between the real-world coordinates corresponding to third and fourth frames and a second line perpendicular to the second intersection line. The system determines a pivot point of the trailer based on an intersection of the first and second perpendicular lines.
