A boat and a propeller assembly for a boat. The propeller assembly includes a propeller and a thrust bearing, and the thrust bearing is made of a harder material than the propeller. The boat may also include a hull, a drive shaft, and a motor. The motor may be positioned within the hull and configured to rotate the drive shaft. The drive shaft may extend through a hull bottom of the hull and the propeller assembly may be positioned forward of a transom of the hull and beneath the hull bottom. The propeller may include a central hub having a hole capable of having the drive shaft inserted therethrough. The thrust bearing may be located in the hole of the central hub and secured to the propeller such that the thrust bearing and the propeller form a unified assembly.

A boat includes a compartment and a stowable seat. The stowable seat includes a stowable seat bottom movable between a stowed position and a raised position. In the stowed position, the stowable seat bottom is located in the compartment. In the raised position, the stowable seat bottom can be located laterally between a first seat and a second seat and at a level higher than a floor of the boat. The stowable seat can include a stowable seat frame having a static support and a pivot arm. The upper end of the pivot arm can be pivotably connected to the stowable seat bottom. The stowable seat bottom can include a slider engaged with a slot of the static support to slide within the slot as the stowable seat bottom moves between the stowed position and the raised position.

A boat, boat systems, and methods to determine when a water-sports participant has fallen. The boat may include an image sensor and an image processor communicatively coupled to the image sensor. The image sensor is configured to capture at least one image of the environment aft of the stern of the boat. The image processor is configured to execute a rider-down analysis that includes analyzing, using an object recognition process executed by the image processor, an image to be analyzed to determine if a water-sports participant has fallen. The boat may include a controller configured to execute a rider-down action when the water-sports participant has fallen. The controller may execute the rider-down action when the image processor determines that the water-sports participant has fallen based upon the rider-down analysis.

A multi-position seat for a boat is configurable to support a person in different positions, such as one or more seated positions and one or more standing positions. The multi-position seat can include a seat bottom, a bolster, and a rest. The bolster can be movable between a use position and an access position. In the use position, the bolster is located above the seat bottom, and in the access position, the bolster is displaced relative to the use position. The rest is movably mounted relative to the seat bottom and positionable in a leaning position and a retracted position. In the leaning position, the rest extends upwardly at an angle transverse to the seat bottom to support at least a portion of an occupant leaning against the rest. In the retracted position, the rest is displaced relative to the leaning position.

A boat and a propeller assembly for a boat. The propeller assembly includes a propeller and a thrust bearing, and the thrust bearing is made of a harder material than the propeller. The boat may also include a hull, a drive shaft, and a motor. The motor may be positioned within the hull and configured to rotate the drive shaft. The drive shaft may extend through a hull bottom of the hull and the propeller assembly may be positioned forward of a transom of the hull and beneath the hull bottom. The propeller may include a central hub having a hole capable of having the drive shaft inserted therethrough. The thrust bearing may be located in the hole of the central hub and secured to the propeller such that the thrust bearing and the propeller form a unified assembly.

A sun pad seat and boat with the sun pad seat. The sun pad seat can include a sun pad that is extendable between a retracted position and an extended position. The sun pad seat can include a seat support and a rest elevated relative to the seat support to form a gap therebetween. A portion of the sun pad can be a hidden portion that is located in the gap when the sun pad is in the retracted position with at least a portion of the hidden portion exposed when the sun pad is in the extended position. The rest can be stationary relative to the seat support and can form a least a portion of the seat back of a bench seat located forward of the sun pad seat.

A top shade assembly for a boat. The top shade assembly can be a convertible top shade assembly and/or part of a tower and shade assembly. The top shade assembly includes a top shade, and the top shade can be moved between a raised position and a lowered position with the top shade maintaining a generally horizontal orientation as the leg rotates between the raised position and the lowered position. The top shade can be supported by one or more legs, and the legs can be part of a tower, such as a tower equipped with a towline attachment structure for watersports.

A recreational sport boat includes a hull, having starboard and port sides and a transom, and a pair of wake-modifying devices positioned aft of the transom. One of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a port side of the boat's centerline and another of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a starboard side of the boat's centerline. Each wake-modifying device includes a plate-like member and at least one downturned surface at a trailing portion of the plate-like member. Each wake-modifying device is pivotable between a non-deployed position and a deployed position about a pivot axis that is horizontal or inclined no more than about 35° from horizontal. When a wake-modifying device is in the deployed position, the downturned surface is lower than it is in the non-deployed position so as to be able to modify the boat's wake.

A boat including a hull, a drain formed in the hull, and a plug engageable with the drain. The drain fluidly connecting a cavity formed in the hull to an exterior of the hull. The plug including threads engageable with threads of the drain. The plug is (i) moveable in a tightening direction to engage the threads of the plug with the threads of the drain and close the drain and (ii) moveable in a loosening direction to disengage the threads of the plug from the threads of the drain and open the drain. The plug also includes a handle having a receiver. The receiver having at least one disengaging surface configured to disengage a tool when the tool turns in the tightening direction and at least one engaging surface configured to allow the tool to loosen the plug when the tool turns in the loosening direction.

An equipment storage rack for a boat can store a piece of equipment on the exterior of the boat and can be adjustable. For example, the equipment storage rack can be attached to an upper perimeter surface of a barrier of the boat and can be adjustable for different widths of the upper perimeter surface. The adjustable equipment storage rack includes a cradle for supporting a piece of equipment, and a mounting bracket connected to the cradle to support the cradle. The mounting bracket has a plurality of engagement positions for a fastener to engage with the mounting bracket and to secure the mounting bracket to the boat at a fastening position. The cradle is a different distance from the fastening position at each engagement position of the plurality of engagement positions.
