Disclosed herein are systems and methods for estimating water turbidity using image data, comprising analyzing a plurality of images of one or more objects submerged in water captured under water from a plurality of distances, calculating a luma value for each of a plurality of pixels along one or more gradient lines across the object(s) in each of the plurality of images, calculating, for each image, a respective maximal intensity change between a lowest luma value and a highest luma value of the pixels along the gradient line(s) in the respective image, evaluating a turbidity of the water based on mapping of the respective maximal intensity change to each of the plurality of distances, and initiating one or more actions in case the turbidity exceeds a certain threshold.

A detachable pool related platform that includes a housing, a sensing unit that comprises a location unit that is configured to locate a submerged robot that is submerged in a pool, a communication unit that is configured to communicate with the submerged robot, and a detachable interface that is configured to detachably mount the detachable system onto a surface of the pool.

A method of navigating a dynamic pool equipment unit in a water pool, comprising: receiving sensory data captured by a plurality of sensors of a dynamic pool equipment unit moving in a water pool, mapping, based on analysis of the sensory data, one or more geometrically distinguishable surfaces of the water pool which is geometrically distinguishable from any adjacent surface of the water pool, generating a map of the water pool based on the mapped one or more geometrically distinguishable surface, and outputting the water pool map for navigating one or more dynamic pool. A pool cleaning robot that may include a drive motor; an impeller; an impeller motor that is configured to rotate the impeller; wherein the impeller, once rotated at a first rotational direction, is configured to induce fluid to flow through the pool cleaning robot; a filter for filtering fluid that flows through the pool cleaning robot; and wherein the filter (a) is detachably coupled to one or more elements of the pool cleaning robot; and (b) is configured to exit the pool cleaning robot from a first side of the pool cleaning robot.

The present disclosure provides a cleaning robot comprising one or more motors and a controller configured to control the one or more motors to generate acoustic signals indicative of content. The controller is configured to control at least one of a frequency of the acoustic signals and a pulse width of acoustic pulses generated by the one or more motors. The controller may be configured to control the one or more motors to generate an ascending sequence of frequencies and to use a frequency of a pulse generated by the one or more motors to validate a pulse width of the pulse. The one or more motors are configured to transmit frequency tones that indicate bits of a first value within the content. The one or more motors comprise at least one of a pump motor and a drive motor, wherein the controller is configured to control electric power within a motor coil using pulse width modulation to generate the acoustic signals.
