A system and a method for phase alignment between multiple phase-locked loops (PLL) circuits is provided. The system determines phase difference information between a first output signal of one of a plurality of PLL circuits and a second output signal of other of the plurality of PLL circuits. The system further determines control information based on the determined phase difference information and controls at least one of a reference buffer, a phase detector and charge pump, a phase shifter, or a delta sigma (ΔΣ) modulator of the one of the plurality of PLL circuits based on the determined control information. The system further controls phase alignment between the first output signal and the second output signal based on the control of the at least one of the reference buffer, the phase detector and charge pump, the phase shifter, or the delta sigma (ΔΣ) modulator.

A system and a method for phase alignment between multiple phase-locked loops (PLL) circuits is provided. The system determines phase difference information between a first output signal of one of a plurality of PLL circuits and a second output signal of other of the plurality of PLL circuits. The system further determines control information based on the determined phase difference information and controls at least one of a reference buffer, a phase detector and charge pump, a phase shifter, or a delta sigma (AI) modulator of the one of the plurality of PLL circuits based on the determined control information. The system further controls phase alignment between the first output signal and the second output signal based on the control of the at least one of the reference buffer, the phase detector and charge pump, the phase shifter, or the delta sigma (AI) modulator.

A repeater device for New Radio (NR) communication, includes a baseband processor that establishes a communication link with a base station and decodes control information that is received from the base station through a control channel. The baseband processor further aligns a timing reference of the repeater device with that of an NR cell frame for an uplink or a downlink time division duplex (TDD) switching, based on the decoded control information. The baseband processor further selects and forms one or more donor beams of RF signals at a donor side of the repeater device and one or more service beams of RF signals at a service side of the repeater device, based on the decoded control information and the aligned timing reference with that of the NR cell frame for the uplink or the downlink TDD switching for communication in an NR frequency band.

A method in a communication device that includes a system board having a plurality of chips is described. The method includes receiving a lens-guided beam of input radio frequency (RF) signals through a lens, where each chip of the plurality of chip comprises a plurality of antennas, the lens covers a chip of the plurality of chips, adjusting a proximal distance between the lens and the chip such that the proximal distance is less than a focal length of the lens, and substantially equalizing a distribution of a gain from the received lens-guided beam of the input RF signals from a radiation surplus region to a radiation deficient region based on a defined shape of the lens and the proximal distance.

A system including a plurality of circuits in a first radio frequency (RF) device which are configured to control a plurality of reflector devices based on a set of criteria. The controlled plurality of reflector devices transmit a plurality of RF signals in a specified direction and a specified location of a second RF device within transmission range of the controlled plurality of reflector devices. The plurality of RF signals are transmitted in the specified direction and the specified location of a second RF device based on a request for signal cancellation. The request for the signal cancellation is based on a noise from the second RF device and the plurality of RF signals are cancelled in the specified direction and the specified location of the second RF device.

A wireless communications system includes a first transceiver with a first phased array antenna panel having first circularly polarization reconfigurable receive transmit antennas, where the first circularly polarization reconfigurable receive transmit antennas form a first receive beam based on receive phase and receive amplitude information provided by a first master chip and form a first transmit beam based on transmit phase and transmit amplitude information provided by the first master chip. The wireless communications system may include a second transceiver having second circularly polarization reconfigurable receive transmit antennas where the second circularly polarization reconfigurable receive transmit antennas form a second receive beam based on receive phase and receive amplitude information provided by a second master chip, and form a second transmit beam based on transmit phase and transmit amplitude information provided by the second master chip.

A communication device includes a system board that includes a plurality of chips. Each chip in plurality of chips includes a plurality of antennas. A system board cover coupled to system board includes a plurality of lenses. Each lens is configured to cover an antenna of plurality of antennas as a radome enclosure. Each lens includes a base and a first tubular membrane coupled to base. A second membrane is coupled to the first tubular membrane. A support structure is coupled to the first tubular membrane. The support structure facilitates coupling of plurality of lenses to system board cover. The system board cover includes a feeder array that includes a plurality of antenna elements that are positioned at a proximal distance from base of a lens and the proximal distance of the system board from the base of the lens is less than a focal length of the lens.

A wireless communications system includes a first transceiver with a first phased array antenna panel having horizontal-polarization receive antennas and vertical-polarization transmit antennas, where the horizontal-polarization receive antennas form a first receive beam based on receive phase and receive amplitude information provided by a first master chip, the vertical-polarization transmit antennas form a first transmit beam based on transmit phase and transmit amplitude information provided by the first master chip. The wireless communications system may include a second transceiver having vertical-polarization receive antennas and horizontal-polarization transmit antennas in a second phased array antenna panel, where the vertical-polarization receive antennas form a second receive beam based on receive phase and receive amplitude information provided by a second master chip, the horizontal-polarization transmit antennas form a second transmit beam based on transmit phase and transmit amplitude information provided by the second master chip.

A repeater device includes a first antenna array on a first surface, a second antenna array on a second surface opposite to the first surface, and control circuitry. The first antenna array includes a plurality of first antenna elements and the second antenna array includes a plurality of second antenna elements, where each first antenna element is coupled to at least one second antenna element. The control circuitry selects at least one first antenna element and a corresponding second antenna element based on a first direction of signal reception with respect to the first antenna array. The selected first antenna element receives a beam of radio frequency (RF) signal in a first radiation pattern from a first network node in the first direction and corresponding second antenna element transmits the received beam of RF signal in a second radiation pattern to a second network node in a second direction.

A phased array antenna panel includes a first plurality of antennas, a first radio frequency (RF) front end chip, a second plurality of antennas, a second RF front end chip, and a combiner RF chip. The first and second RF front end chips receive respective first and second input signals from the first and second pluralities of antennas, and produce respective first and second output signals based on the respective first and second input signals. The combiner RF chip can receive the first and second output signals and produce a power combined output signal that is a combination of powers of the first and second output signals. Alternatively, a power combiner can receive the first and second output signals and produce a power combined output signal, and the combiner RF chip can receive the power combined output signal.
