The embodiments may include a sensing module embedded in a label associated with the consumable suitable to sense the consumable level; and a visual indicator suitable to receive the consumable level from the sensing module, and for communicating the consumable level to a user.

Apparatuses, systems and methods of providing a smart container. The smart container contains a consumable, and includes: a container body; a label affixed to the container body; and a passive sensing tag (PST) embedded in the label. The PST includes: a backscatter antenna; a radio-frequency identification (RFID) communicative with the backscatter antenna; and at least one sensor communicative with the backscatter antenna. Responsive to a ringing from a radio frequency transceiver, the backscatter antenna provides the RFID and data from the at least one sensor. The RFID and the data are then processed to provide usage information of the consumable to a user via a dashboard available at least on a smartphone and on a desktop.

A grinder assembly removably connectable to a container of a spice dispenser includes a stationary grinder component and a rotatable grinder component associated with said stationary grinder component to define a grinding chamber between a portion of said stationary grinder component and a portion of said rotatable grinder component. The personal air quality monitor may include a housing suitable for physical association with a person; an air inlet capable of providing air flow from an environment outside the housing to a chamber within the housing; a plurality of sensor resident within the chamber, suitable for receiving the airflow and measuring air quality factors associated with the airflow; and a communication system suitable for processing the air quality factor measurements and communicating the processed air quality factor measurements to a user interface cognizable to the person.

In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide anti-tampering mechanisms. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms to hold an opened and tethered cap away from the container opening during use.

Disclosed herein are tethered cap and spout combinations. The tethered cap and spout combinations prevent loss of the cap after opening. The tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms for puncturing or opening a seal that may be present at a throat or neck of the container which provides both an anti-tampering and freshness function. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide anti-tampering mechanisms. The tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms to hold an opened and tethered cap away from the container opening during use.

A consumable level monitoring label apparatus, system and method for physical association with a content-filled consumable to allow for monitoring of a level of the content therein. The apparatus, system and method includes a plurality of labels, each individually manually removable from the label sheet and each comprising: a plurality of electrical conductors forming a sensing module, the sensing module having associated therewith firmware for converting signals associated with the electrical conductors and to an indication of the content level; a communications module for communicating the content level to at least a user display and over at least one network; and a power module for powering at least the sensing module and the communications module. A plurality of perforations are associated with each of the plurality of labels, wherein the plurality of perforations provides for variations in a size of each of the labels upon the manual removal.
