A method of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in a non-terrestrial network includes a step of receiving, by a user equipment (UE), configuration parameters indicating whether HARQ feedback is enabled or disabled for each of a first HARQ process number and a second HARQ process number; receiving a downlink control information (DCI): comprising scheduling information for a first transport block (TB), associated with the first HARQ process number, and a second TB associated with the second HARQ process number; and indicating one of a HARQ feedback enablement or a HARQ feedback disablement; and enabling or disabling the HARQ feedback for the first TB and the second TB, wherein the enabling or the disabling the HARQ feedback for at least one of the first TB and the second TB is based on the indication by the DCI regardless of the indication by the configuration parameters.

A method of routing messages services in a wireless communication system in cooperation with an Access Mobility and Management Function (AMF) includes receiving, from a multiple universal subscriber identification module (MUSIM) user equipment (UE) having at least a first USIM and a second USIM, and a policy rule and the AMF routing a first message associated to a first network to the first USIM, and a second message associated to a second network to the second USIM based on the policy rule. The policy rule specifies service preferences of the message services. The method might also include determining a first paging occasion for the first message; embedding the service preference of the first message in the first paging occasion; determining a second paging occasion for the second message; and embedding the service preference of the second message in the second paging occasion.

A method of multicast data delivery in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) in an RRC connected state, an RRC release message indicating transitioning of the UE from the RRC connected state to an RRC inactive state and receiving, while in the RRC inactive state, multicast data in response to joining a multicast group and receiving multicast configuration parameters.

The method includes transmitting a first message including a random preamble selected from a set of preambles to a base station (BS), receiving a second message including control information required for establishing communication between the UE and the BS in one or more physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a first time duration, determining one PDCCH in the one or more PDCCHs which has the highest received signal power (RSRP), in a third message reporting the one PDCCH with the highest RSRP to the base station and transmitting uplink scheduling information in one or more physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) in a second time duration and receiving a fourth message, the fourth message includes a contention resolution process and a report indicating the one PUSCH with the highest RSRP.
