A case includes a case body configured to equip a mobile electronic device. The case includes an actuator, and the mobile electronic device includes a physical button. The case further includes an actuator switch coupled to the case body and movable between at least a first unengaged position and a second engaged position, where the switch is connected to an engagement member. The engagement member activates a corresponding physical button of the mobile electronic device when the mobile electronic device is equipped with the case and the actuator switch is moved to the second position. The engagement member is configured to not activate the mobile electronic device button when the actuator is moved to the first position.

An expandable device for attachment to a portable electronic device or to a case for the portable electronic device includes a base having a base top side and a base bottom side, where the base bottom side is adapted to attach to the portable electronic device or to the case for the portable electronic device. The base includes a cutout formed on the base top side. The expandable device further includes a plurality of foldable legs each having a first end and an opposite second end, wherein the first end of each of the plurality of foldable legs is operably coupled to the base top side. The expandable device further includes a button having a button top side and a button bottom side, the button bottom side being operably coupled to the second end of each of the plurality of foldable legs. The plurality of foldable legs are movable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, and are pivotable about at least one leg fold that partitions a corresponding one of the plurality of foldable legs into at least two body sections. At least a portion of the plurality of foldable legs nests within the cutout when the plurality of foldable legs are in the collapsed configuration.

A docking-accessory platform is configured to couple to a mobile electronic device. The platform includes a front surface and a back surface opposite the front surface of the platform. The back surface of the platform faces a back of the mobile electronic device when the platform is coupled to the mobile electronic device. The platform also includes a docking connector that comprises a cavity, where the docking connector comprises an annular magnetic attachment system formed beneath the front surface of the platform. The annular magnetic attachment system comprises a magnet and is (i) centered laterally on the platform and (ii) configured to form detachable magnetic attachments to compatible docking accessories.

An accessory assembly for a mobile electronic device includes a platform, having a first side and an opposing second side. The platform includes one or more magnetic elements configured to magnetically attach the platform to a mobile electronic device or case along the first side. The accessory assembly also includes a wallet integrated with or attached to the second side of the platform, where the wallet is configured to hold one or more objects associated with a user of the accessory. The assembly also includes a grip accessory configured to attach to the wallet, where the grip accessory is configured to be handheld in order to support the accessory assembly and mobile electronic device when magnetically attached to the platform.

A docking-accessory platform is configured to couple to a mobile electronic device. The platform includes a front surface and a back surface opposite the front surface of the platform. The back surface of the platform faces a back of the mobile electronic device when the platform is coupled to the mobile electronic device. The platform also includes a docking connector that comprises a cavity, where the docking connector comprises an annular magnetic attachment system formed beneath the front surface of the platform. The annular magnetic attachment system comprises a magnet and is (i) centered laterally on the platform and (ii) configured to form detachable magnetic attachments to compatible docking accessories.

An expandable device for attachment to a foldable electronic device having first and second surfaces includes a button and a pivotable frame member. The button has a top side, a bottom side, and a coupling portion and is movable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The pivotable frame member is operably coupled to the button and includes a device coupling portion that engages a portion of the foldable electronic device. The pivotable frame member is pivotable between a first configuration whereby the button is positioned along at least one of the first surface or the second surface of the foldable electronic device and a second configuration whereby the button is positioned away from the foldable electronic device.

An accessory is configured to provide grip and kickstand functionality for a mobile electronic device. The accessory includes a pivotable frame member comprising a base member configured to detachably attach to a rear surface of the mobile electronic device or to a rear surface of a case of the mobile electronic device, and a pivotable arm coupled to the base member at a hinge portion. The pivotable arm pivots along the hinge portion between at least a closed configuration and an open configuration, where the pivotable arm comprises a base-facing surface and an opposite accessory-facing surface. The accessory includes a grip accessory detachably coupled to the accessory-facing surface of the pivotable arm. At least a portion of the pivotable arm of the pivotable frame member is configured in an annular shape. The base member of the pivotable frame member may also be configured in an annular shape.
