The disclosed system, methods, and apparatus relates to a self-cleaning litter box. The self-cleaning litter box includes a movable rake. A mechanism controlling the rake can allow for control of the forward/reverse position, the vertical position, and the rotation of the rake using a different path of travel for the forward and reverse traversals of the rake across the litter box. The controlled positioning of the rake can reduce force on the rake and other mechanical components, and more evenly distribute litter. Further, some implementations may include a dumping mechanism that involve the rake flipping so that clumps of pet waste are forcibly removed from the rake by a mechanical impact. Further implementations allow for removal/replacement of the rake.

A device is described herein comprising one or more applications running on at least one processor. The device includes a sound generation component and a receiver, wherein the sound generation component, the receiver, and the one or more applications are communicatively coupled. The device includes the receiver for receiving a wireless activation signal. The device includes the one or more applications configured to activate the sound generation component upon receipt of the wireless activation signal by the receiver, wherein the activated sound generation component delivers an auditory stimulus at a sound pressure level, for a duration, and using a noise pattern.

A pet litter tray includes a main housing, a pair of oppositely disposed side flaps, and a pair of oppositely disposed end flaps. The main compartment has an interior space and an open top or top opening. The main compartment has a generally planar, rectangular floor, two oppositely disposed side walls, and two oppositely disposed end walls. Each end flap has an elongated tab mounting slot. Each side flap has a first portion extending from the side wall of the main compartment along the longitudinal first fold, a second portion extending from the first portion along a second fold, a third portion extending from the second portion along a longitudinal third fold, and a distal, fourth portion extending from the third portion along a longitudinal fourth fold. The fourth portion has two oppositely disposed end tabs and a central handle portion having a handle hole therethrough.

An apparatus is described that comprises a microphone array and a plurality of transducers. The microphone array and the plurality of transducers are communicatively coupled with at least one processor. The apparatus includes the microphone array for receiving at least one signal. Each transducer of the plurality of transducers is configured to deliver a correction signal along a transducer beam spread axis, wherein the plurality of transducers is positioned on the apparatus for providing a combined transducer beam spread coverage in the horizontal plane. One or more applications running on the at least one processor use information of the at least one signal to detect a sound event. The detecting the sound event includes selecting transducers from the plurality of transducers and instructing the selected transducers to deliver a correction signal.
