A method for inspecting the side wall of an object includes the following steps: transporting the object on a conveyor; receiving the object to be inspected in an inspection station positioned along the conveyor, where the axis (A) of the object is oriented along a longitudinal direction (D); capturing a first image through a first camera which views the object from above along an optical path which has at least one component that is parallel to the longitudinal direction (D); deriving a three-dimensional representation of the side wall of the object based on the first image and on reference data; capturing a second image, representing a portion of the side wall of the object, the second image having perspective distortion; deriving a third image representing the portion of the side wall of the object, the third image being without perspective distortion.

Handling method and machine to re-arrange ceramic articles; the handling machine comprises: a first moving device to pick up and move at least part of the ceramic articles from a first support structure to a splitting-up station; a support comprising a base portion, a plurality of projections and a plurality of recesses; and a second moving device to transfer such ceramic articles from the splitting-up station to an output station and place them on a second support structure according to a second given arrangement so as to obtain a modified group of ceramic articles.

An apparatus for continuous processing of caps, wherein each cap has a side wall extending around a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end, a transverse wall joined to the first end and a plurality of tabs projecting from the second end. The apparatus includes: a bending station including a bending carousel and a plurality of bending units, each configured to bend the plurality of tabs of the cap towards the longitudinal axis; a feed unit, configured for moving the caps along a movement path, located upstream of the bending station and for feeding the caps to the bending station, where each cap, along the movement path, adopts a predetermined orientation at a first inspection position; a pericentric camera, located along the movement path and defining an optical axis of its own, aligned with the longitudinal axis of the cap disposed at the first inspection position; a control unit, connected to the pericentric camera to drive it synchronously with the caps moving along the movement path.

A moulding male device for forming a sealing material inside a shell and for obtaining a seal, wherein the male device extends along a longitudinal axis and includes an inner body, which has a front wall configured to press a central portion of an end wall of the shell; an outer body, externally surrounding the inner body, having a front surface configured to press the sealing material, applied at least on an outer portion of the end wall, and to form the seal; a ducting circuit, configured to allow a transit of a cooling fluid inside the male device. The ducting circuit includes an outer circuit at least partly made in the outer body, and wherein the outer body comprises an inner jacket, surrounding the inner body; an outer jacket, surrounding the inner jacket; the outer circuit being at least partly made between the inner jacket and the outer jacket.

A closing cap for a container that includes a lateral wall extending around an axis and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separating line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring and a closing element removably engageable with the neck. The separating line extends around the axis and is interrupted to define in the lateral wall a joining zone which extends circumferentially for an angle, in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined; wherein the retaining ring comprises a connecting portion which extends continuously from the joining zone and an engaging element which projects inwards and is configured to engage with a locking ring of the neck. The engaging element includes a retaining part which has a contact surface configured to make contact with a lower wall of the locking ring.

A spray-drier comprising: a main body, which delimits an atomization chamber; a feeding system to feed a water suspension of ceramic material into the atomization chamber, which comprises at least one spraying unit to spray the water suspension of material; a heating system to generate a hot gas flow having a temperature of at least circa 400° C. (in particular, ranging from circa 500° C. to circa 600° C.) using at least one electric heater; and a distribution device for distributing said hot gas flow inside said atomization chamber so that it hits the sprayed water suspension of ceramic material, thus drying the solid ceramic material contained therein and generating atomized ceramic powder.

A closing cap for a container that includes a lateral wall and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separating line on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring, which is configured to remain anchored to the neck of the container, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck to open or close the container. The separating line extends around the axis and is circumferentially interrupted to define a joining zone that extends circumferentially for a first angular portion, in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined. The lateral wall has a first and second cuts and a projection which projects from the lateral wall, wherein the first and the second cuts extend circumferentially within a second angular portion which is contained in the first angular portion, the projection being between the first and the second cuts.

A method that includes the steps of supplying a dose made with a natural fibre-based material; inserting the dose in a mould between a first half-mould and a second half-mould and moving at least one half-mould, selected from the first half-mould and the second half-mould towards the other half-mould selected from the second half-mould and the first half-mould, along a pressing direction to press the dose between the first half-mould and the second half-mould and form the object. The dose has a non-uniform structure.
