Described are self-cleaning covers for attaching to passenger seats. Embodiments of self-cleaning covers can include an antimicrobial fabric having at least one antimicrobial fiber interwoven with a second fiber, as well as an attachment element connected with the antimicrobial fabric for removably affixing the cover to the seat. The antimicrobial fabric and the attachment element can be shaped to partially enclose and to removably attach the self-cleaning cover to at least a portion of the passenger seat, such as a seat cushion, armrest, or headrest.

A passenger seat folding privacy shield can include a partition pivotable about a pivot edge or otherwise adjustable between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position, the privacy shield can extend forward from a lateral edge of the seat back so as to form at least a partial barrier between a living space of the passenger seat and an adjacent seat. In the stowed position, the partition may be arranged overlying a cushioning portion of the seat back or situated laterally outward from a perimeter of the seat back.

The non-uniform tubes can include a first end ( 108 ), a second end ( 110 ), a wall ( 112 ), and a tube central axis ( 118 ). The aperture wall includes a first pivot-limiting feature. The armrest pivot assembly also includes an armrest pivot within the aperture of the armrest support and rotatable within the aperture relative to the armrest support. The armrest pivot includes a perimeter wall having a second pivot-limiting feature, and the first pivot-limiting feature and the second pivot-limiting feature define a range of rotation of the armrest pivot relative to the armrest support.

Described are passenger seats including a knit amenities panel, the knit amenities panel having a support structure including a cover shroud member and a backing member; and a knitted retention component comprising at least one elastic yarn, where the knitted retention component is knitted in one piece; the knitted retention component is attachable to the backing member and defines a plurality of openings; a tension force is created in the knitted retention component due to the attachment of the knitted retention component to the backing member; the tension force permits the knitted retention component to hold at least one object; and the backing member with the knitted retention component attached is coupled to the cover shroud member.

Described are aircraft seat frame assemblies comprising a tube and a seat frame component mounting system. The seat frame component mounting system comprises a first tube mounting member and a second tube mounting member separable from the first tube mounting member. The tube is positionable between the first tube mounting member and the second tube mounting member. The seat frame component mounting system further comprises a fastener extending at least partially through the second tube mounting member, the tube, and the first tube mounting member to couple the second tube mounting member to the first tube mounting member. A clamping force is substantially evenly applied from the second tube mounting member and the first tube mounting member against an outer circumferential surface of the tube via the fastener.

Described a passenger vehicle having a hands-free door assembly, the hands-free door assembly includes a stationary wall portion; a door portion moveable along at least one linear translation track; at least one actuator operable to move the door portion along the at least one linear translation track; and at least one sensor positioned on at least one of the stationary wall portion or the door portion, wherein the sensor receives a hands-free input and transmits an activation signal to the at least one actuator, and wherein the at least one actuator moves the door portion along the at least one linear translation track based on receiving the activation signal.

An armrest control mechanism for a passenger seat may be attached to a seat frame and an armrest to control movement of the armrest relative to the seat frame. The armrest control mechanism may include a base member, a gas spring, a pulley attached to the gas spring and moveable relative to the base member, and a cable movable relative to the base member for moving the pulley. The gas spring may provide forces through the pulley and the cable to the armrest.

Described are armrests for positioning between passenger seats having a base component with a divider extending upward from an upper surface of the base component and at least one adjustable component movably coupled to the base component. In a retracted position, the adjustable component and divider are arranged to form a non-intrusive barrier between passengers' arms. In an extended position, the divider is arranged to form the non-intrusive barrier between passengers' arms, while the adjustable component is arranged to extend a width of the armrest.
