A spacer for insulating glass units includes a polymer hollow profile extending in the longitudinal direction, having first and second side walls arranged parallel thereto, a glazing interior wall extending in the transverse direction between the side walls and connects them to one another, an outer wall arranged at least partially parallel to the glazing interior wall and perpendicular to the side walls and connects the side walls to one another, and a cavity enclosed by the side walls, the glazing interior wall and the outer wall, a plurality of continuous fibers, wherein each continuous fiber has a fiber length along its extension which corresponds to a dimension of the polymer hollow profile along the extension of the continuous fiber.

A glazed unit includes at least two glazed walls forming between them a cavity, wherein the cavity includes at least one device including at least one plate, the plate including a plurality of perforations arranged periodically and defining a chamber arranged in the cavity.

A coated pane includes a substrate and an electrically conductive layer stack on a surface of the substrate, which, starting from the substrate, includes a dielectric barrier layer preventing ion diffusion with a refractive index of at least 1.9 and a layer thickness of 5 nm to 18 nm, a dielectric anti-reflective layer with a refractive index of at most 1.6, an electrically conductive layer with a layer thickness of 75 nm to 120 nm, a dielectric blocking layer for controlling oxygen diffusion with a refractive index of at least 1.9 and a layer thickness of 10 to 25 nm, and a dielectric optical layer with a refractive index of at most 1.6.

A functional element having electrically controllable optical properties with side edges includes first and second carrier films having first and second flat electrodes and an active layer arranged flat between the first and second flat electrodes. A first and a second bus bar are arranged on at least one first side edge, the first and second carrier films have first and second recesses. The first bus bar is arranged on the surface of the second carrier film facing away from the second flat electrode and in the region of the second recess passes through the latter and contacts the first flat electrode electrically conductively. A light-emitting laminated glazing for a vehicle, includes, between two sheets of glass, an intermediate layer forming a light guide surrounded by layers which have a lower refractive index and at least one of which is adhesive and is made of a crosslinked polymer.

A material includes a substrate coated with a first conductive coating including, starting from the substrate a first dielectric coating, a silver-based metal functional functional layer, a blocking layer located above and immediately in contact with a silver-based metal functional layer, the blocking layer being chosen from metal layers of one or more elements chosen from nickel and chromium such as Ni, Cr, NiCr, and metal nitride layers of one or more elements chosen from titanium, nickel and chromium such as NiN, CrN, NiCrN, TiN, and a second dielectric coating including at least one conductive oxide layer, the sum of the thicknesses of the conductive oxide layers of the second dielectric coating being greater than 40 nm.

A method for separating a laminated glass panel including a film and at least two glass sheets, with the film being interposed between the two glass sheets, the method including weakening the mechanical properties of the panel using the energy of a laser beam along a predetermined separation line, by guiding the laser beam along the separation line, the separation line separating the panel into at least two pieces, wherein a laser device is used to provide the laser beam, the laser device providing a Bessel laser beam with a wavelength to which the glass sheets and the interlayer are transparent, wherein the length of the laser beam is at least equal to 80% of the thickness of the panel and the ratio of the scanning speed to the operating frequency is a value between two and seven times the diameter of the central lobe of the Bessel beam.
