An electronic device can be mounted at least partly in a frame of a bicycle and used to monitor operations or properties of the bicycle or one or more components associated with the bicycle. The electronic device may integrate and communicate with a variety of components including sensors to facilitate customization of monitoring by the electronic device. The electronic device can have a relatively minimalist design. The electronic device, in some embodiments, may include a display that does not present alphanumeric characters to an operator, and the display may instead include multiple indicators that individually or in combination present information to the operator, such as the level of charge of one or more batteries or an operating mode of the electronic device or bicycle.

A shock absorber includes a main shock body and a shock reservoir coupled to the main shock body. The shock reservoir includes a reservoir body defining a reservoir longitudinal axis, and an internal floating piston separating the reservoir body into a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber, the internal floating piston being movable along the reservoir longitudinal axis. The shock reservoir further includes a cap assembly in fluid communication with both the main shock body and the first fluid chamber. The cap assembly includes a plunger receiver with a shoulder extending inwardly toward the reservoir longitudinal axis, the shoulder having a first region defining a first profile. The cap assembly further includes a plunger having a tapered outer surface having a second region defining a second profile. The first region with its first profile is configured to contact the second region with its second profile, and the first profile is not complimentary to the second profile, the plunger being movable relative to the plunger receiver to adjust a damping force of the shock reservoir depending on a position of the plunger relative to the plunger receiver.

A display assembly for a bicycle includes: a housing; a plurality of springs attached to the housing and configured to maintain the housing in an installed position with respect to an opening, wherein at least one spring of the plurality of springs is configured to engage an inner edge of a portion of a wall surrounding the opening to provide a biasing force configured to at least partially bias the housing in a direction substantially orthogonal to an insertion direction, and wherein an upper portion of the housing is shaped to extend along at least the second direction beyond the inner edge, such that the housing is configured to only be insertable into the installed position from a position external to the internal cavity of the first tube; and a display coupled to the housing.

A removable display assembly for a bicycle includes: a housing having a body that extends along a first direction from a first end to a second end, wherein the body further extends along a second direction that is transverse to the first direction, such that at least a portion of the body can be positioned through an opening in a wall of a first tube of a bicycle frame to be at least partially positioned within an internal cavity of the first tube, wherein the opening extends along the first direction from a first end to a second end, a display coupled to the body of the housing; a first transverse spring coupled to the first end of the housing; a second transverse spring coupled to the second end of the housing; and a third spring coupled to the second end of the housing.

A bicycle includes a frame, a front fork, a fixed stop member fixed in relation to the frame, a bearing member that supports the front fork relative to the frame for rotation about a steering axis, and a compression ring. The compression ring includes a body portion between the bearing member and the front fork and a stop portion rotationally aligned with the fixed stop member to inhibit over-rotation of the front fork relative to the frame. The stop portion comprises a second material harder than the first material of the body portion. The stop portion can include a contact surface that contacts the fixed stop member when the front fork is sufficiently rotated, and the contact surface can comprise the second material. The second material can comprise one or more of aluminum, titanium, ceramic, and steel. The body portion can be formed as an overmold on the stop portion.
