A glove including a wrist region; a palm region extending outwardly from the wrist region; a plurality of digit regions extending outwardly from the palm region, wherein each digit region of the plurality of digit regions has a longitudinal axis extending along the digit region from the tip of the digit region to the palm region; an interior cavity bounded and defined by the wrist region, the palm region, and the plurality of digit regions, wherein the interior cavity is accessible via an opening defined by the wrist region. A crotch area is provided between adjacent digit regions. At least one gripping zone is provided on at least one digit region. The gripping zone is oriented substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the at least one digit region. An exterior surface of at least one crotch area and at least one gripping zone is textured, particularly by micro-etching.

A glove having a wrist region, a palm region that extends outwardly from the wrist region and defines a palm plane, at least one digit region extending outwardly from the palm region and terminating at a terminal end, and a surface treatment provided on the palm region or the at least one digit region. The at least one digit region includes a longitudinal axis that extends between the terminal end and the palm region and is parallel to the palm plane. The surface treatment also includes a set of projections that extends outwardly from the palm region or the at least one digit region. Each projection of the set of projections also extends outwardly along an axis that is non-parallel to the palm plane of the palm region or extends outwardly along an axis that is non-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the at least one digit region.

A method and system for a creating a glove surface treatment on a glove. The method includes steps of applying a former on a forming material, wherein the forming material is non-cured and the former includes a plurality of extensions; creating a first surface treatment on the forming material by the plurality of extensions of the former; applying a mold material on the forming material, wherein the forming material is cured; creating a second surface treatment on the mold material, wherein the second surface treatment is an inverse configuration of the first surface treatment; engaging at least one portion of the mold material having the second surface treatment onto a master mold; creating a caster mold from the master mold that includes the second surface treatment; and creating the glove surface treatment on the glove by the caster mold.

A glove and method of detecting a toxic substance on a surface is disclosed. A coating is applied over an exterior surface of at least a portion of the glove. The coating is formulated to detect toxic substances when the glove is donned and brought into contact with an object or surface. In particular, the coating may be formulated to detect toxic substances such as opioids and drug mixtures which include opioids. The coating may be applied over substantially the entire exterior surface of the glove or as coated regions formed on the palm region and/or digit regions of the glove. When the glove is brought into direct physical contact with the toxic substance it is formulated to detect, at least one characteristic of the coating changes. In some instances, the coating will change color when the toxic substance is contacted.

An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove is fabricated of nitrile which is resistant to toxic or corrosive substances. These substances include drugs mixed with opioids such as fentanyl and carfentanil. The fingertip regions on the glove may be of a reduced circumference so as to pull the glove material therein tightly around the tips of a user's fingers and thumb. The reduced circumferences fingertip regions helps the user to detect even a faint pulse in a patient. The glove includes a first color exterior surface and a second color interior surface. The first and second colors contrast with one another and this feature serves as a tear indicator to the user.

A glove assembly including identically-configured first and second gloves which are pulled, one over the other, onto a person's hand. The first glove defines an interior cavity which receives the person's hand therein. When the second glove is pulled over the same hand that is covered by the first glove, the first glove is received within an interior cavity of the second glove. Gripping regions on the first and second gloves are complementary in configuration and are located so that when both gloves are pulled over the same hand, the gripping regions on the first and second gloves nest with one another. The glove assembly provides double protection to the person's hand and the nesting of the two gloves ensures tactile sensitivity and finger dexterity are maintained.

A glove and method of manufacture thereof. The glove includes a wrist region, a palm region extending outwardly from the wrist region, and a plurality of digit regions extending outwardly from the palm region. A front surface of the palm region and a front surface of the plurality of digit regions will be contacted by an object when the object is gripped in the hand of a user wearing the glove. A first texture is provided on the front surface the palm region and a second texture is provided on the front surface of the plurality of digit regions. The first texture and second texture are different from one another. In one embodiment, a sand pattern is micro-etched into the palm region and a raised diamond pattern is molded into the plurality of digit regions. Gripping zones are molded into the rear surface of the digit regions.

A reusable glove for meat processing plants that is able to be easily donned and doffed, and worn over a liner. A thumb crotch is defined between first sides of the glove's index finger region and thumb region. An imaginary first plane extends generally along the index finger region's first side, beyond the thumb crotch, and through the thumb region. An imaginary second plane oriented at right angles to the first plane extends along a narrowest width of the glove's wrist region and intersects the first plane at an intersection region. An imaginary third plane oriented parallel to the first plane and at right angles to the second plane, passes through narrowest width of the wrist region, and intersects the side of the wrist region at a transition region. The transition region is located outwardly beyond the intersection region and vertically below the thumb crotch.

A glove and method of forming the same is disclosed. The glove includes a wrist region, a palm region, and a plurality of digit regions each having a tip provided at one end of a fingertip region thereof. The tip is remote from the palm region. A texture is provided on at least one tip of the plurality of digit regions. The texture is provided on an exterior of an arcuate surface of the at least one tip, where the arcuate surface is generally orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the digit region having the textured tip. In other embodiments, a texture is also provided on a circumferential surface of the fingertip region of another of the plurality of digit regions. The texture forms a pattern on the tip or the fingertip region. In one instance, the pattern is a sand pattern produced by micro-etching the glove material.
