An aspect provides a method, including: communicating, to the hospital transport management system, information sufficient to authenticate a user of the handheld portable information handling device; obtaining available hospital transport job information from the hospital transport management system; displaying information related to the available hospital transport job; displaying functional display icons comprising an accept job icon and a bypass job icon; communicating acceptance information of the authenticated user for an available hospital transport job to the hospital transport management system; and displaying a status of the accepted job and icons for changing a status of the accepted job by the transporter.

One embodiment provides a method including transmitting a pick-up request to transport a patient within a healthcare facility. The method includes receiving an acceptance indication for the pick-up request that has an associated handoff protocol that is based upon a condition of the patient. The method includes generating a patient identification request requesting a scan of an identification tag of an individual. The method includes receiving image data and determining whether the image data includes an image of the identification tag. The method includes verifying an identity of the individual. Systems and methods are provided for displaying graphical objects in a user interface of a mobile device. In one embodiment, methods may include receiving a request to display a primary status associated with a plurality of facilities, querying at least one database for data associated with each one of the plurality of facilities, calculating a score for each one of the plurality of facilities based on the associated data, determining the primary status associated with each one of the plurality of facilities based by comparing the score with threshold rules, selecting a primary graphical object style for each one of the plurality of facilities based on the primary status, and generating for display a user interface screen including primary graphical objects in a screen of the mobile device, wherein the primary graphical objects include the respective selected style.

Systems and methods are provided for generating hypermedia-based graphical user interfaces for display on a mobile device. In one embodiment, the systems and methods may include at least one processor in communication with a mobile device associated with a user. When executed, instructions may configure the a processor to transmit a request to access information corresponding to a relative of the user; display within the graphical user interface of the portable user device a hypermedia icon including an image of the relative; display at least one hypermedia element corresponding to a current status of the relative with respect to the itinerary of the relative; display at least one action hypermedia element representing actions that can be executed by the user; and display a recommendation for the user based upon a remaining duration of the procedure identified from the current status of the relative with respect to the itinerary.

One embodiment provides a method including receiving natural language speech from a user. The method includes automatically converting the natural language speech into a text format and executing a function corresponding to the function portion of the natural language speech. The method includes translating data returned by executing the function into natural language, wherein the translating includes modifying sensitive information within the data returned by (i) changing a selected audible output device and output volume to prevent the at least one unauthorized user from hearing the data returned and (ii) modifying the data returned. The method also includes outputting the natural language via an audible output device. Other aspects are described and claimed.

One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving a selection to access interaction data associated with a target; receiving a designation of an interaction parameter, wherein the designation of the interaction parameter adjusts a defining standard for a direct interaction and an indirect interaction for the interaction data; determining, using a processor and based on the interaction parameter, whether each of the interactions from the interaction data is associated with a direct interaction or an indirect interaction; and generating an interaction visualization from the interactions, wherein the interaction visualization indicates interactions of the target with the at least one entity and wherein the interaction visualization visually distinguishes direct interactions from indirect interactions. One embodiment provides a method including transmitting a pick-up request to transport a patient within a healthcare facility. The method includes receiving an acceptance indication for the pick-up request. The method includes generating a patient identification request requesting a scan of an identification tag of an individual. The method includes receiving image data and determining whether the image data includes an image of the identification tag. The method includes verifying an identity of the individual. The method includes receiving at least one environment attribute from an environment of the patient. The method includes transmitting a notification indicating successful completion. Systems and methods are provided for generating hypermedia-based graphical user interfaces for display on a mobile device. In one embodiment, the systems and methods may include at least one processor in communication with a mobile device associated with a user; and a storage medium storing instructions. When executed, the instructions may configure the at least one processor to automatically generate one or more queries for information identifying the user and an individual associated with the user, automatically generate one or more requests for status information and real-time location information for the individual, automatically generate, based on the requested status information and real-time location information, a plurality of hypermedia elements for a graphical user interface being formatted for the mobile device, and provide the automatically generated hypermedia elements for display in a graphical user interface formatted for the mobile device.

An embodiment provides a mobile application that animates change information in a way that specifically indicates a change in workflow information for various users. This animation of change information permits users, which are often busy healthcare professionals, to be quickly apprised of relevant changes to workflow status. The mobile application also allows users to communicate change information, e.g., for updating the status of a workflow item, which may then be propagated throughout a network, including mobile devices.
