A trailer restraint configured to secure a trailer at a relatively fixed location with respect to a facility, the trailer restraint including a body configured to be anchored to a structure at the facility; a linear actuator rotatably coupled to the body about a pivot point and reconfigurable between a stored position and a trailer engagement position; and a trailer hook translatably driven by the linear actuator between a first position and a second position, wherein the linear actuator is rotatable about the pivot point when the trailer hook is in the first position, and wherein the trailer hook is configured to apply a restraining force to the trailer bar when the trailer hook is in the second position.

Electronic systems are provided for secure actuation of a remote device such as a moveable barrier operator. The systems address the “man in the middle” problem of persons intercepting and duplicating radio frequency signals from a control device by introducing timing parameters into a bidirectional communication sequence between at least two devices.

A system for providing access to a designated venue. The system includes a control device associated with an operator account belonging to a user and configured to transmit control signals for actuating movable barriers. The system further includes an operator server associated with the control device, remote from the designated venue, and operatively coupled to a user interface to receive a login credential from the user. The operator server is configured to, in response to determining that the login credential corresponds with the operator account of the user, determine a device identifier associated with control device. The operator server is further configured to transmit the device identifier to a venue processor associated with the designated venue for the venue processor to use in operating a barrier system of the designated venue.

Systems and methods disclosed herein are directed to monitoring a movable barrier operator. The system includes a movable barrier operator coupled to one or more sensors; one or more processors; and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media that collectively store instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising: receiving sensor data from the one or more sensors; extracting one or more vibrational patterns from the sensor data; classifying the one or more vibrational patterns into one or more diagnostic categories; generating diagnostic data associated with the movable barrier operator as a function of the classification; and transmitting a notification to a user device as a function of the diagnostic data.

A method is provided for operating a movable barrier operator system in connection with a delivery. The method includes, at the movable barrier operator system, receiving a delivery open command and moving a movable barrier from a closed position to an open position. The method further includes identifying a delivery timer value based at least in part upon the delivery open command, operating a timer using the delivery timer value, and moving the movable barrier from the open position toward the closed position upon expiration of the timer.

A method of operating a movable barrier operator, the method including: receiving, at a user interface application installed on a user device, location data of a vehicle; determining, by the user interface application, the vehicle has entered a geofenced area based on the location data; and controlling, by the user interface application, a first controllable device application to output a command to a movable barrier operator to open a movable barrier upon the vehicle entering the geofenced area.

In one aspect, a method associated with delivery of a product to a container. The method comprising, at a server computer, receiving container information from the container. The container information includes a capacity of the container detected by a sensor of the container. The method further includes receiving, from a user device, a request to order a product for delivery to the container and denying the request to order the product in response to a determination of inadequate capacity of the container. The determination of inadequate capacity of the container is based at least in part upon the container information and information indicative of the product. The method further includes communicating a signal to the user device indicating denial of the request to order the product due to the inadequate capacity of the container.

The present disclosure generally relates to a system and method for enabling on-demand, temporary storage of an autonomous vehicle in vehicle storage areas of existing infrastructures. The vehicle storage areas include one or more movable barrier operators configured to control access to the vehicle storage areas via movable barriers. An autonomous vehicle access control platform is configured to enable access to individual ones of the vehicle storage areas by a single-use access credential sent to at least one of the autonomous vehicle and one of the movable barrier operators. The autonomous vehicle access control platform communicates with a transportation-as-a-service (TaaS) platform that pairs an autonomous vehicle with a vehicle storage area for storage based at least on a factor or parameter including the location of the vehicle storage area relative to the autonomous vehicle.
