A cooling box includes a box body with a bottom opening, a bottom cover installed on the bottom opening of the box body, a plurality of pipe joints integrally formed with the box body and communicated with an interior of the box body to allow a cooling liquid to flow into or out of the box body through the pipe joints, and a heat-conductive electric insulation layer wrapped around an outside of the box body. An exterior of the bottom cover is wrapped by the heat-conductive electric insulation layer or by a heat-conductive electric insulation cap that is fitted onto a lower part of the box body. The cooling box thermally contacts a charging terminal to transfer heat of the charging terminal to the cooling liquid inside the box body through the heat-conductive electric insulation layer and the bottom cover to cool the charging terminal.

An electrical connection assembly includes an installation cylinder, a cable, a terminal, a temperature sensor, and a heat shrink tube. The installation cylinder has a front end and a rear end opposite each other in an axial direction of the installation cylinder. The cable passes through the installation cylinder and has a conductor end extending from the front end of the installation cylinder. The terminal has a connection end electrically connected to the conductor end. The temperature sensor is in thermal contact with the connection end and has leads passing through the installation cylinder. The heat shrink tube is fitted and heat shrunk onto the rear end of the installation cylinder, the cable, and the leads led out from the rear end of the installation cylinder. The heat shrink tube achieves sealing between the cable, the leads, and the installation cylinder. The temperature sensor detects a temperature of the terminal.

A charging dock heating element includes a body part. The body part is inserted into a slot of a housing of a charging dock. The charging dock heating element is electrically connected to a lead frame inside the housing of the charging dock. The charging dock heating element is electrically connected to a power supply via a first lead in the lead frame. The charging dock heating element generates heat when powered on to heat the charging dock.

A position retaining member is adapted to be inserted into a connector housing and adapted to be moved between a final lock position and a pre lock position. The position retaining member includes a cantilever part and a pressing part. When the position retaining member is in the final lock position, the cantilever part is adapted to be pressed against an elastic buckle of the connector housing to hold the elastic buckle in a locking position engaged with a protrusion of a mating housing of a mating connector. When the position retaining member is in the pre lock position, the pressing part is adapted to press the elastic buckle to an unlocking position separated from the protrusion of the mating housing, allowing the connector housing to be pulled out from the mating housing.

A charging dock housing includes a first insertion hole receiving a power terminal, a second insertion hole receiving a signal terminal, and a buckle feature. The charging dock housing is a one-piece molded part and is insertable into an inner cavity of a mounting seat of a charging dock. The buckle feature engages with a mating buckle feature on the mounting seat to lock the charging dock housing into the mounting seat.

A charging terminal includes a mating part having a cylindrical shape that is matable with a columnar mating terminal, and a welding part capable of being welded onto a cable to electrically connect with the cable. The mating part is an integral stamped part. The welding part is an integral cold heading part. A front end of the welding part is welded, riveted or crimped to a rear end of the mating part.

A temperature detection assembly includes an elastic thermal conductivity component, a temperature sensor and a retainer. The elastic thermal conductivity component is formed with a mounting hole and is adapted to be inserted into an installation slot formed on a housing of a connector. The temperature sensor is inserted in the mounting hole of the elastic thermal conductivity component and is adapted to detect the temperature of a connection terminal of the connector. The retainer is adapted to be installed on the housing of the connector and to fix the elastic thermal conductivity component in the installation slot.

A finger protective cap for fitting on an installation part at an end of a connection terminal includes a peripheral wall, an end wall connected to an end of the peripheral wall, and an insertion post located in the inner cavity and connected to the end wall. The peripheral wall and end wall define an inner cavity accommodating the installation part. The insertion post is insertable into an insertion hole on the installation part and interference fit with a hole wall of the insertion hole. The inner cavity has an opening opposite to the end wall to allow the installation part to be inserted into the finger protective cap through the opening.

Disclosed is a metal insert. The metal insert is applied to a plastic housing of a connector, and an inner hole of the metal insert is not threaded, wherein the metal insert is adapted to be embedded in an opening of the plastic housing of the connector. Disclosed is also a connector, wherein the metal insert is embedded in the opening of the plastic housing of the connector.

An injection mold insert includes a housing of a first material and an inner core of a second material sealed in the housing of the first material. A mechanical strength of the first material is greater than that of the second material. The thermal conductivity of the second material is greater than that of the first material. The inner core is formed by filling a molten liquid of the second material into an inner cavity of the housing.
