A spray gun bottle having a mouth which opens into a body of the spray gun bottle for containing a liquid, wherein the body of the spray gun bottle has at least one vent. An adapter and spray gun system are also provided.

A composition comprises dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and has a flash point of 70° F. or greater. The composition has a total VOC content defined by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of 50 weight percent (%) or less. The composition removes or strips paint in a period of time of two hours or less. The composition may further comprises one or more corrosion inhibitors.

A spray wand is disclosed. The spray wand comprises a spray body provided with a nozzle, a cartridge assembly having a replaceable cartridge disposed in the spray body, and a flow control valve for controlling a fluid flow through the spray wand. A movable member of the nozzle has an inwardly tapered orifice from which the fluid flow exits the spray wand in certain modes of operation. A cartridge of the cartridge assembly has an array of apertures to allow particles of solid chemistry of a desired size to flow from the cartridge assembly. The flow control valve comprises a piston, a sealing element disposed on the piston, and a biasing element to apply a biasing force on the piston. In some embodiments, the sealing element is over-molded on the piston to militate against deformation and leakage.

A spray wand includes: a hollow tubular main body; a nozzle mounted on the output end of the main body; and a valve assembly configured to mount the input end of the main body. The valve assembly includes: a housing having an input conduit for coupling the valve assembly with a fluid source; a sealing piston biased within the input conduit toward a sealing position thereof, and a valve core having a column rotatable within the interior space of the housing and a handle extending from the column, the valve core being rotatable between at least one open position corresponding to an open condition of the valve assembly and at least one closed position corresponding to a closed condition of the valve assembly. Upon rotation of the column to at least one open position thereof, the sealing piston biased within the input conduit is pressed from the sealing position.

An emulsion having a volatile silicone solvent or silicone solvent blend, a primary non-ionic emulsifier substantially free of silicone or a blend of non-ionic emulsifiers substantially free of silicone, and water.

Upon rotation of the column to at least one open position thereof, the sealing piston biased within the input conduit is pressed from the sealing position.

A paint remover composition including (a) tetrahydrofuran (THF) at a sufficient concentration to remove paint; (b) a low vapor pressure (LVP) coupling co-solvent present at an effective amount to maintain miscibility of the single-phase paint remover composition and to remove paint; (c) an amine with a molar volume of <100 cm 3 /mol; and (d) water at a concentration of greater than 18 wt % of an overall concentration of the single-phase paint remover composition and the methods of making and using the same.
