A wearable medical device caregiver notification system includes a patient communication device. The patient communication device is configured to receive patient data from the wearable medical device. Using a criteria app, the patient communication device can determine if preset goal criteria, such as wear time compliance or number of steps taken, have been met. Upon determining that a goal criterion has not been met, the patient communication device can transmit a notification to a designated caregiver communication device indicating that the goal was not achieved.

A patient monitoring system comprises a support structure comprising a garment configured to be worn by a patient, a plurality of patient parameter electrodes configured to contact the patient's skin when the patient is wearing the garment, a patient monitoring device configured to receive one or more patient parameters via the plurality of patient parameter electrodes when the patient is wearing the garment, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine a likelihood whether the garment has been changed or washed after a predetermined period of use by the patient, and provide an indication regarding garment change or wash status based on the likelihood that the garment has been changed or washed.

A wearable medical systems (“WMS”) implements a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (“WCD”) by including therapy electrodes coupled to a unit with electronic components, all of which are carried or worn by a patient. A charger is also provided, along with at least two rechargeable batteries; one of the batteries can be powering the unit while the other is being recharged by the charger. The unit may output a prompt to the patient to swap the batteries when the battery in the unit reaches a low-charge condition, or when other conditions are met.

A medical wearable matching system is provided that pre-assesses a fit of a wearable article of medical device for a patient. The matching system may facilitate fitting and selection of a class of wearable articles for a patient. The matching system may also evaluate potential effects of the fit on operations of the medical device. Patient specific data, such as measurements, are fed into a fit prediction artificial intelligence (“AI”) model. The fitting AI model is trained with fitting data of previous patients to predict a class of wearable medical article that is likely, above a threshold amount, to provide a target fit for the patient. The patient specific information may also be fed into an adverse potential AI model. The adverse potential AI model is trained with patient experience data describing adverse operations of a wearable article worn by prior patients.

Technologies and implementations related to utilizing conductive ink with medical device systems to facilitate electrical contact between an electrode and a person’s skin. The conductive ink may be applied in a variety of manners such as, but not limited to, permanent, semi-permanent, and/or temporary.

A medical data management system is provided that facilitates expedited review of health data for patient care. The medical data management system includes devices for collecting the health data, associating the health data with health events, optimizing storage of health data, and displaying comprehensive patient data for efficient and rapid review. The system includes a medical monitoring device that uses sensors to acquire health data and logic to specify data blocks of the data that characterize health episodes. Data management device(s) stitch the data blocks according to timelines and store the stitched data blocks as a full episode. The stitched data blocks are rendered for display, as a data presentation with timelines and graphic representations.

Technologies and implementations related to facilitating grouping of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals of a heart of a person (e.g., patient) wearing a wearable medical device (WMD). The ECG signals may be acquired during various times (e.g., during a normal rhythm of the heart and/or during an event of the rhythm of the heart) including various times of activity of the person (e.g., sleeping, awake, active, inactive, etc.). The ECG signals may be received and analyzed to determine if the ECG signals may be indicative of an event associated with a heart of the person or not.

A wearable medical device comprising monitoring circuitry to monitor one or more patient parameters of a patient and defibrillation circuitry to provide one or more defibrillation shocks to the patient responsive to a control signal from the monitoring circuitry. The defibrillation circuitry comprises a defibrillation capacitor to provide energy for the one or more defibrillation shocks. The wearable medical device also comprises a power source to provide power to the monitoring circuitry and the defibrillation circuitry. The power source comprises a low current power source (LCPS) to provide power to the monitoring circuitry, and a high current power source (HCPS) to provide power to the defibrillation circuitry.

In embodiments, a pre-analyzing computer receives a data record that is created by a wearable medical system (“WMS”) which may implement a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (“WCD”). The WMS has created such data records from patient data captured when the WMS has detected that the patient was having episodes of potential interest for review by clinicians. Before this review, however, the pre-analyzing computer may parse the contents of a received data record and accordingly give it a score. The score may reflect the clinician's expected preference to review this data record before or after the others. For instance, a low score may be given to data records whose contents are likely not interpretable reliably due to noise or likely of low interest after all. The pre-analyzing computer may then perform a characterizing action with reference to the data record, for facilitating the clinician to find it by its score.
