A paddle head guard system may include a paddle head guard sized to at least partially cover an outer edge portion of a paddle head. The guard may include a moldable and hardenable band configured to be hardened after being wrapped over the outer edge portion of the paddle head.

A tennis ball container for storing at least one tennis ball. The container extends along a longitudinal axis and has an open end. The container includes a removable seal enclosing the open end, and an annular overcap. The seal includes a pull tab. The overcap includes a body adapted for removably attachment to the open end of the tennis ball container. The body includes a peripheral rim for engaging an outer surface of the container at the open end, and a lip projecting from the peripheral rim toward the longitudinal axis. The lip extends over a portion of the removable seal and over a portion of the pull tab. The lip defines a first opening. The lip is configured to inhibit the at least one tennis ball from passing through the first opening. The annular overcap defines at least one breakaway region for facilitating breaking of the annular overcap.

A sports upper body protective gear may include a padded chest portion to extend over a chest of a sport participant and shoulder portions extending from the padded chest portion over shoulders of the sport participant. Each of the shoulder portions may include a shoulder pocket to removably receive a moldable and hardenable protective insert panel.

A fiber composite racquet may include a loop providing a head portion of the fiber composite racquet. The loop is formed from a rolled sheet wound about a centerline by at least 720 degrees. The head portion further includes at least one of (1) a layer joined to the rolled sheet along a fold and sandwiched between adjacent overlapping portions of the rolled sheet and (2) a completely surrounded aperture in the rolled sheet. The head portion includes a fiber composite material.

A tennis ball may include a non-foamed thermoplastic core defining an internal volume, the core having an outer meltable surface. The core may include a thermoplastic material having a specific gravity of 0.86 to 1.38, a flexural modulus of 2.0 to 50.0 MPa, and a Shore D hardness of 10 to 70. The thickness of the thermoplastic material may be between 3.0 and 8.0 mm and configured to maintain dimensional stability at internal pressures of between zero and 15 psi. The tennis ball may further include a felt cover at least partially covering the core, wherein the tennis ball conforms to ITF and USTA size, weight, deformation and rebound requirements.

A pickleball paddle may include a handle portion and a head portion coupled to the handle portion. The head portion may include an outer frame extending about an opening, a core within the opening, and a core flexor extending between the perforate core and the handle portion within the opening

A ball bat may include a handle portion and a barrel portion extending away from the handle portion to an end cap.
