Aspects relate to delivering directed content using frequency capping concepts without third-party cookie technology or other user-identifiable information. Systems and methods are described for determining an estimated number of impressions a user may view or experience based on historical, anonymized data. A covisitation graph is used to estimate the number of times an unidentified user may see an item of directed content, within in a predetermined period of time, based on a single visit to a particular website. The covisitation graph accounts for and also provides for estimated views of the item of directed content on other websites deemed related to the particular website. Therefore the estimated delivery rate for that website can be calculated and used to enforce frequency capping principals.

Systems and methods for providing an impression inventory trading platform are described. A specification of impression inventory for sale is received from a seller, the impression inventory having associated therewith a plurality of attributes. Each attribute is specified as either visible or hidden to a potential impression inventory buyer. The impression inventory specification and visible attributes associated therewith are provided to one or more potential impression inventory buyers via a user interface, and negotiation for purchase of the impression inventory is facilitated between the seller and one or more of the potential impression inventory buyers via the user interface.

A method for distributed pod-editing may be performed by an enhanced pod editor, and may include the following steps: receiving a framework for a pod, wherein the framework identifies one or more content items already assigned to one or more slots in the pod by one or more pod editors; determining attributes of the content items already assigned to the pod in a native taxonomy of the enhanced pod editor; determining restrictions on the pod's slots based on the attributes of the content items already assigned to the pod and on the pod's editorial constraints; rejecting content items already assigned to the pod that violate the restrictions on the pod's slots (if any); identifying candidate content items that comply with the restrictions on the pod's unfilled slots (if any), and selecting candidate content items and assigning the selected content items to the pod's unfilled slots.

Techniques are disclosed for advantageously forecasting an inventory of a product having a particular duration (e.g., video content). The technique can include determining the particular configuration (e.g., maximum number of impressions, maximum amount of time permitted) of breaks identified within an impression log. Based on the number of breaks and the configurations of the breaks, the technique can forecast a future inventory of the product. In some implementations, the disclosed technique can identify an amount of a previous break that was not filled with video content. These forecasts can enable product sellers to better communicate with their customers, negotiate supply contracts, price their products, plan for business operations, etc.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a technique for processing a decision network that includes obtaining an index encoding a mapping from potential values of an input parameter to decision parameters of the network's predicates, wherein the mapping associates potential values of the input parameter with decision parameters affected by those potential values; evaluating decision parameters affected by specified values of the input parameter, including identifying each decision parameter to which the index maps at least one specified values of the input parameter, and setting the values of those decision parameters in accordance with the input parameter's specified values; and analyzing the decision network, including evaluating the predicates of one or more of the decision nodes based on the values of the predicates' decision parameters, and determining, based on the values of the evaluated predicates and a topology of the decision network, that a particular terminal node encodes the network's output. Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a request to forecast allocations for a new descriptor, the new descriptor differing from preexisting descriptors, each of the preexisting descriptors being associated with a subset of locations of a network of locations, each location corresponding to an electronic segment in electronic canvases, and the new descriptor being associated with a new subset of locations of the network of locations, identifying one or more affected descriptors having one or more overlapping subsets of locations of the network of locations and one or more non-overlapping subsets of locations of the network of locations, determining a forecast of allocated locations in each of the one or more affected descriptors; identifying, according to the forecast, at least a portion of allocated locations in the one or more overlapping subsets of locations that are displaceable resulting in a number of displaceable allocations, and determining, according to the number of displaceable allocations, a forecast of available unallocated locations with displacement. A method and system for capturing and reviewing advertisement information on a mobile device are provided. An advertisement is requested to be served to a user of an application on a user device and, in response to the request, the advertisement and metadata associated with the advertisement are received at the device. The application presents the received advertisement, and a visual representation of the advertisement is captured. Specifically, the visual representation depicts the advertisement as it was originally displayed to the user. The visual representation and associated metadata are stored on the user device for subsequent retrieval. Further, an interface control is provided that allows the user to ban a particular advertisement from being shown again across multiple devices.

Computer-implemented systems and methods for privacy-safe user tracking. A plurality of tracking pools is provided, with each tracking pool having a plurality of users assigned to the pool. Each tracking pool further includes combined tracking data associated with the users in the pool. Tracking data associated with a user is received, and the user is assigned to at least one of the tracking pools. The received tracking data is added to the combined tracking data of the assigned tracking pool, such that no portion of the combined tracking data can be used to identify an individual user in the assigned tracking pool.

An example method includes: determining a likelihood that a user will trigger presentment of video content within a portion of digital content, and when the likelihood is determined to exceed a threshold, obtaining a video tag that identifies the video content or caching a portion of the video content prior to presentment of the video content.
