Methods, systems, and apparatus for the placement, retention, display, marketing, selection, removal, or combinations thereof, of a stored-value card. More specifically disclosed herein are systems, methods, and apparatus for the placement, retention, display, marketing, selection, removal, or combinations thereof, of a stored-value card associated with an offer for sale of the stored-value card, an advertisement of a stored-value card, a potential purchase by a customer of the stored-value card, or combinations thereof.

Systems and methods for associating a proxy card with an electronic wallet are disclosed. A computer implemented method may include receiving an authentication information of a proxy card, and associating the proxy card with an electronic wallet, wherein associating the proxy card with the electronic wallet allows secure access to the electronic wallet when the proxy card is presented at a point of sale. A system may include a proxy card comprising authentication information, and an electronic wallet associated with the proxy card, wherein the association of the electronic wallet with the proxy card allows secure access to the electronic wallet when the proxy card is presented at a point of sale. A wallet redemption card may comprise a rewriteable magnetic stripe, a smart chip, a wireless communicator operably connected to the smart chip, and an interface operably connected between the rewriteable magnetic stripe and the smart chip.

A method implemented by a computer comprising collecting historical data for a plurality of items; categorizing each of the plurality of items; assigning at least one of the plurality of items as an index item for at least another of the plurality of items; collecting data for a plurality of context parameters related to at least one of the plurality of items; and forecasting a value for one of the plurality of items needed over a future period of time, wherein the method reduces a data storage capacity requirement for the computer and increases said computer's processing speed.

A method including receiving an activation request including an identifier uniquely identifying the pre-printed lottery ticket for a pre-printed lottery ticket from a point-of-sale terminal, accessing a record associated with the pre-printed lottery ticket, determining if the activation request is valid, determining a set of attributes associated with the pre-printed lottery ticket based upon the identifier uniquely identifying the pre-printed lottery ticket, determining a central gaming system responsible for administering a lottery with which the pre-printed lottery ticket is associated, and enrolling the set of attributes associated with the pre-printed lottery ticket in the lottery with the central gaming system.

Systems and methods for associating a proxy card with an electronic wallet are disclosed. A device comprises: a receiver configured to receive a client certificate; a processor coupled to the receiver and configured to: authenticate the client certificate, extract, in response to the authentication, attributes from the client certificate, and create, in response to the extraction, a message comprising reformatted attributes based on the attributes, wherein the reformatted attributes can be trusted; and a transmitter coupled to the processor and configured to transmit the message. A computerized system for activating, issuing and otherwise managing transactions and activities pertaining to stored-value cards over a communications network. A central information database is provided for storing stored-value cardholder and card purchaser information received directly from respective stored-value cardholders and card purchasers PCs through a universal central processor via respective communication gateways. The central processor is coupled for communication realtime to multiple unaffiliated stored-value card processing networks normally operated by respective hosts. Each network includes a stored-value card processor coupled to a stored-value card database and multiple respective merchant communication devices. The central processor is programmed for managing the activation and issuance of transactions and activities for the stored-value card through the respective unaffiliated networks. The universal central processor is programmed to issue the stored-value cards directly to the cardholder or card purchaser by download over respective communication gateways. The universal central processor is further programmed for reporting the card activations, issuances, transactions and activities to the cardholders and the merchants thereby providing a universal management system.

A method includes receiving a request to process, against an electronic wallet, a portion of a transaction, an electronic wallet optionally comprising a sub-wallet, the transaction processed against the wallet and/or sub-wallet. The method further includes identifying one or more electronic value tokens in the e-wallet and/or sub-wallet that, when used together, will cover the portion of the transaction. The method further includes applying the electronic value tokens to the portion of the transaction.

Systems and methods discussed herein relate to a system for detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions through collecting requests for website access, stored-card trades and sales, and transactions using physical or electronically issued credit, debit, stored-value, and other cards. The fraud detection system not only flags individual transactions, but is also configured to dynamically track and update banned/watch lists associated with request artifacts and cards in order to catch and prevent individual actors as well as BOTs, at least by adjusting the thresholds used to evaluate risk scores and what is placed on the banned/watch lists based upon requests received as well as information from financial institutions, merchants, government agencies, and watchdog groups. The system is also configured to provide information to those groups.
